[Video] A New Arrival
[Another day, another adventure. While Spock isn’t thrilled to find that he’s the target this go around, it’s certainly not surprising; statistically, with how things go on the Enterprise, he was overdue for something akin to this to happen.
He watches the video dutifully and thoroughly reads through all of the provided paper pamphlets (arguably the most alarming thing about this planet), frowning all the while, before he broadcasts a video on the primitive device while he begins to leave the Bay.]
Greetings, I am Commander Spock of the U.S.S. Enterprise. If I have been taken, then I believe that there must be at least one other member of the Enterprise here, a Captain James Kirk[because Kirk’s luck has always been worse that way]. If you have any information on the whereabouts of my captain, please let me know.
I am also interested in learning more about the technology available to us [he hopes it gets better than a god damn smart phone] and what it is that is preventing us from simply contacting our ships and getting transported back. As the Enterprise’s science officer I believe that I may be able to offer some assistance on the matter.

Well, Spock, you're right about not being alone here but it looks like that's the only thing. No sign of Jim yet, but one way or another it's probably a matter of time.
[He was still in the bar, was a little more thankful for the familiar face than he'd let on.]
We might have a hard time getting that information. According to the only person I've talked to here so far, the only ones who even acknowledge the issue are the ones who aren't from around here.

Yes, there is a high likelihood that the Captain will still show up, unless our captors are only interested in scientists. In which case I have full confidence that our time here will be extremely short-lived.
Am I correct in assuming you have not been here much longer than I have if that is all that you have discovered? [Looks like he made short work of finding a pub, though.] I find it shocking that none of the residents of the planet are alarmed by the supposed influx of people from other worlds.
Re: Video
[No matter whether that came with an escape plan or not. But that was Jim for you.]
Yeah, that's right. Also found out they don't have any damn medical schools here. [Yeah, he sounds completely disgusted there.] Seems like it might've been happening a while. I mean, they've got a damn welcome holo.

I haven't heard your Captain's name before but he might still be around. How does he looks like?
As for technology, each of the city has a different one, some more advanced than others. Nova City is where you can finds a large variety of modern tech, while in Fayren you are more likely to encounter that things are powered by magic.
The cause of the blocked transmissions might be the barriers, or more likely, the fact this s a whole different than your own.
The captain is a blond human male with blue eyes. I believe that if he were here he would make his presence known, though whether intentionally or not I cannot say.
I do not understand your meaning of magic, or that we're in an entirely different system from our own. That kind of travel is physically impossible. We are more likely on a planet the Federation has just yet to establish contact with, as I've never heard of Genessia before.
[Unless they somehow got involved with another alternate universe. Wouldn't that just be typical.]
I know at least two males that fit the description but one is a young kid and the other has a different name. If you want to know if he's here, maybe visiting the Employment Building might help you. Everyone here needs a job and they handle the listings, if you friend is here he might have gone to the building. It's in Genessia city, located at Thistle Avenue and 22nd Street.
Impossible is a word that has often been proven to be very limited, everything is impossible until you have the means to accomplish it. 'An atom is indivisible. It's impossible to finds anythign smaller.'...oh wait, we just broke it in half and found all those little things inside called protons and neutrons.
To fishes, flying is impossible. To birds, it's a natural occurrence. What is strange to us it's no unusual here, this world has its own set of rules are all gambling.
What's the Federation like? I never heard of it before.

What makes you think that there is an artificial intelligence here and not just a mentally unstable individual in command?

[ He frowns slightly. ] There is a pattern of odd events that act like experiments that always end after a short period of time. It seems unlikely a single person would manage to keep everything here functioning for this long without making an error that would reveal their identity.

There's an entire city full of technology better than what you've woken up to, if that's your meaning. Go straight north from where you woke up until you see a big gate, go through it, and viola--! Flying cars.
No ships, though. Seems we're fresh out.
Re: [Video]
I find it curious that there are flying cars but not ships. The progression of technology usually points to the opposite, with the technology first being produced for scientific and militaristic personnel.
Is Nova City the only location with more advanced technology?

It's not the only place, no. Genessia City's kind of a melting-pot of all the other cities, from what I can tell.
[ It's why he set up shop here and not in, say, Everglade. Though now he's super glad for that for other reasons. ]
But if you want a high concentration of the stuff, that's where I'd go.

[ACTION HIJACK]
Drifting over to Spock she tipped her hat up with a thumb, floating just out of arm's reach before slowly... slowly... drifting forward and poking him on the shoulder. Repeatedly.
"Hey! Hey mister! Can you see me? Can you hear me? Heeeey!" It would probably take awhile for Spock to overcome her perception field due to how analytical his mind was. Hopefully his good observational skills would speed things along!
Re: [ACTION HIJACK]
He pulls out his blaster (set to stun) and keeps it low as he takes a few careful steps backwards, eyes sweeping the area.
"I demand that you show yourself." For a demand, it's not very forceful sounding. In fact, it sounds like casual conversation to anyone that doesn't know him.

"Heeey!" Oh god she was right there. "Oh good! You can see me!" A pause. "I think. You're looking at me. That's the first step to seeing me!" Her green eyes glowed rather brightly with their own light and she had a strange fleshy cord looping and floating around her body attaching at her ankles and on either side of a deep blue sphere.
Also, she was floating.
And then she would go right for the hand not holding the blaster, intending to give it a warm and welcoming shake. "Hello there! I'm Koishi Komeiji! I'm a satori youkai. But don't worry. I can't read minds anymore." She brightened even more. "You're new, right? I love new people!"
