[Action]

[At the entrance to the Bay, a new arrival can be seen. He is clearly from a medieval fantasy realm, as he is clad in ornate black armor. Those familiar with suits of armor will recognize it as cavalier's armor. Additionally, held tight in his right hand is a jet-black longsword covered in a faint red glow, and whenever the sword moves through the air, it leaves behind trails of energy that make it look like it has been set aflame. He wears a stern expression on his face. He does not know what is going on here, and he is being very cautious.

As he looks around, he sets off the recorded message. After the initial surprise wears off, he begins to listen intently, albeit with a bemused expression on his face.

Clearly whomever made this has had to deal with a lot of unnecessary headaches for doing so. Xander would probably chuckle if he were not in such an alien situation.

The message ends, and he begins to look at the information available in the nearby kiosk. For this, he sheathes his sword so that he is not stuck flipping through literature with just one hand. Once he has read everything to his heart's content, he leaves the area and makes his way toward the Welcoming Center to learn more about this realm.

He can be approached at any point between the Bay and the Welcoming Center, or at either one.]

[The camera shows the new arrival. He still has a stern expression on his face, but he seems less on edge than he did shortly after arriving. Judging by the surroundings visible on camera, he has found himself in the housing for newcomers.]

So, by using this device, we can communicate with the rest of the Outrealm population here, regardless of where any of us are? This is fascinating. Whomever is responsible for creating these must know some very powerful magic.

However, that isn't what I am making this message for. Allow me to introduce myself: my name is Xander, and I am the crown prince of the kingdom of Nohr. The first matter I would like to attend to is thus: has anybody here come from the same realm as I? If the name of my homeland means anything to you, or the name "Hoshido," then I request that you contact me as soon as you are able.

The second matter I would like to inquire about is about our situation and its connection to our homes. I am already aware that there is no reliable, controlled way to return home from here. However, is there a way to check in on how our homes are doing? I'm sure it goes without saying, but I have a vested interest in what may or may not be happening in my absence. I do not want to return home and find my land in ruins.

[He then stops speaking just long enough to bow his head toward the camera.]

That is all. I thank you for your time, and I hope you will address my inquiries.

[The recording ends.]

Let's play a game.

Share something about yourself. Then share something about yourself that you made up. Could be anything. I'm curious about the lot we have running around here and I think everyone would have fun with this one.

The rules are:
1. Tell one truth and as many lies as you want.
2. We all guess which one isn't make-believe.
3. If we get it right, you have to share another true thing.

You can hide under that anonymous setting. I don't care as long as you're not being boring.

[ As the sun begins to set on this day, Alisaie decides to finally take the plunge and make a call to introduce herself. It's only proper now that she's been here for a little over a week and she has a better head on her shoulders than when she first arrived. The newspaper from a few days ago gave her a better impression of this place than anything a civilian would have told her. Their so-called guardians brought down isn't easy to swallow but it does inform her the dangers in this world.

Which is why she's kept her head down low. Even now, when she intends to introduce herself she has her white hair fallen over her eyes.

Isn't this sight a bit familiar though or is it a fleeting moment of déjà vu? The only difference that can be seen from her current posture is the difference in clothes. Even the flush tint to her lips is pale, having grown homesick in her time apart from Eorzea. She frets a little, not knowing of the happenings going on and more importantly being unable to check in on her brother from the safe distance of having to not interact with him.
]

Good evening to all who answer my call at this bell. [ Properly spoken under her breath, though she doesn't bother to speak up so good luck understanding the murmuring. ] I am a scholar from the nation of Sharlayan although here I have been working as a shop clerk for Aster Technologies in Nova City. Having been here for a week and four suns approximately, I have chosen to not sit around lamenting my abduction from my homeland in favor of acquiring more for my new life here.

[ A brief pause, and then in an accusing tone: ] We are stuck here, are we not? If there is a way to return, I will give all of my earnings and whatever else you may seek to know the truth.

Rest assured, I do not mean to give up on the people of this world in turn. [ She just rather focus on the people of her world first. No hard feelings, kay? ] I just cannot devote myself to your cause until I know for certain that our abductions are not cause of punishment.

[ In short, she remains unconvinced that they are prisoners due to their own faults. Alisaie has engaged in questionable things herself and knows her slate to not be as pure as her brother's, so naturally it would make sense she was captured. At the same time, she recalls seeing hundreds of dragons imprisoned against their will so she can't help feeling a bit ill over the situation. ]

... it is foolish to believe we are responsible for this. It happened against our very will, did it not? The ones responsible for this are no better than the Allagan themselves. Have they revealed themselves to us? I would have words with them.

[ Very strong words judging by the fact her tone has picked up a little. She's mad, alright.

also she didn't give a name. What a great introduction. At least she told people where they could find her!!

Weapons experts.

Kind of without a weapon right now and not even sure if I should get it out of the stupid rock.

[His poor family heirloom. Even if it's probably safer in there than in his hands.]

I'm looking to build my own. It's a tradition where I'm from. I'm also wondering what made you choose yours? If it works for you, there must be a reason.

[Maybe not one of the more hopeful reasons he would have believed in the past. He's done with that. But one that makes sense.]

Stay on topic.

My answer is yes.
