WHERE: The Castle Royale Hotel, Genessia City.

The event space in the Castle Royale Hotel in Genessia City was decorated for this event. Pink hearts and other decorations were tastefully hung and placed all over the place to help people get into that romantic type of mood. It took quite a while to decorate it all, but it would take less time to get it all down once the event was over.

Just approaching the hotel, you would be able to hear the sound of music faintly playing. The event would have been awkward if there wasn’t any DJ at all to play music to get people in the dancing sort of mood. The DJ has their little area set up so he could entertain the guests with various genres of music. Some slow, some fast, some in-between. But the one thing it has in common is it is all something you can dance to.

The event officially starts at 5PM, but the doors themselves open at 4PM. Though at that time, things are still being set up, but you won't be asked to leave if you decide to sit around and wait for it to start. The GCPD are in attendance as well to help keep the peace.

Don't bid more in the auction than your character would plausibly have. For instance, if they don't have a job, they can't bid 10,000 redbills. Bidding should be done within their actual means.

[While he's still uncomfortable that he's trapped in Genessia, at least he managed to calm down a bit after his screaming introduction yesterday. Besides, who can stay irritated with a free admission to Valentine's event? Not Tony as he's busy filling his stomach with delicious snacks around him.

Unlike most of the guests, he was still wearing his usual clothes from yesterday, but the difference is that his clothes are now dry, but also he managed to snag a new pair of yellow and white sneakers after he lost a shoe during his arrival.

Of course, after he's done scarfing down on the free food, he decided to try getting into Valentine's Day spirit by trying to get a girl.]

Hello, ladies! Name's Tony Clark, a new kid in Genessia and I'm looking for a date for Valentine's Day! Just step right up and the Tonster will do the rest!

[Anastasia had decided to stop by the refreshments table for a little bit, to see if any sweets she could try. She was dressed in her favorite pink party dress when this young girl heard something that made her stop dead in her tracks.

Having been living in Nova for awhile now, she shouldn't be surprised about hearing something as weird as that, assuming it's a device. Curiosity had her, and she approached Tony to ask him about it, but not too close, given how timid she tends to be around boys.]

"...What is 'the Tonster?"

[Looks like a young girl approaches the young spy, who is confused at his cheesy delivery. Yet he's somehow oblivious to her confusion as he approaches her with a big grin on his face.]

Me! It's actually my nickname.

Do you want to join me on the dance floor and cut a rug with me?

[Tonster is a nickname? Well, she was certainly way off. When he approached, she timidly takes a step back. His approach was a bit sudden.]

"Cut a...rug...? But... Why would you want to ruin a perfectly good rug?"

[You'll have to forgive her. No one bothered to teach her slang.]

Um... That means we should dance together. Come on, I won't bite!

[Stop it, Tony. This might be more awkward if you provoke the young innocent girl.]

"Oh... I have never heard anyone use that before."

[With it clarified and the offer extended, Anastasia looked away nervously a moment before looking back to Tony.]

"Well...I suppose it won't hurt. Okay. I accept."

[As she is a prim and proper girl, a Princess in her respective world, she holds her hand out for Tony to be a gentleman and lead her to the dance floor.

Really, what could go wrong?]

[Much to his surprise, the young girl accepted his offer to dance. This causes him to scream for joy before he calms down a second later so he can hold her hand and leads her to the dance floor.

Once the song plays through the speakers, he tries to dance with the girl to the beat. Well, "try" is an exact word because once he starts dancing with her, he unknowingly steps on the girl's foot with any warning.]

[That scream startled her. Just what was that for? She couldn't possibly know.

The song that starts playing was simply too fast for her, and she instantly falls behind when he started dancing. It was then she realized she was too far out of her element, and then realized how wrong she was when he actually stepped on her foot!

With a yelp, she took a few steps away from him to keep from having her toes stamped on.]

"Wha--What are you doing?!"

[He actually notices this too late as he heard her scream in pain and realizes what he did, much to his embarrassment.]

Oh man, I'm so sorry! Are you okay?

[Of course, he's not only bad in first impressions to the girls, but he's a bad dancer as well. Because of this, he now worries if she might slap him for that mistake.]

[Anastasia checked for damage. A slight mark on her skin and shoes.]

"...I'll be fine. I..." [biting her tongue there before saying she dealt with much worse.]

"...You don't talk to girls much, do you?"

[Thankfully for him, the young girl seems to be okay after his attempt to dance with her. Although when she asks him that question, his face starts to become red as he remembered his past attempts to get a girlfriend back home.]

Actually, I do! I mean... sometimes... I mean...!

[Unable to defend himself, Tony groans in dismay as he hangs his head, unable to forget those memories.]

[She hoped her question had the opposite effect. She wasn't good with jokes anyway. She felt she needed to make up to him for her insensitive question.

Anastasia slowly approached and delicately patted him on the head.]

"I'm sorry... I didn't mean to upset you... If it's any consolation, I don't meet anyone my own age, let alone boys."

[Tony became surprised when she mentions that she haven't met anyone with the same age as her's. This made him little guilty about his reckless actions.]

No, I'm sorry... I tend to think before I do something and I have no experience when it comes to girls.

I did try to date some of the girls back home, but it's too much for me to handle... So when I accidentally stepped on your foot, I thought you might push me into a locker or something.

[Anastasia tilted her head to the side slightly in a inquisitive motion. She doesn't know what to think of this, but he certainly seems genuine.]

"Push you into a locker? Now why would I do that...? It was only an accident, wasn't it?"

[She's not even that strong.]

[Tony sighs in relief that she isn't going to get him unlike the girls back home.]

My dating attempt memories... Don't ask...

[He then wonders what to do now that he botched his dancing attempts with her.]

[She takes a few steps back to give him space.]

"I think we should start from the beginning."

[She dips into a well-practiced curtsy.]

"It's nice to meet you. My name is Anastasia Leonheart."

[Starting from the beginning should a good idea, especially that he didn't introduce himself to Anastasia properly.]

I'm Tony Clark. If you want, you can just call me "Tony".

"Okay, Tony. Would you like to do something that doesn't involve dancing?"

[Good idea. It would be better than going over that dancing mess again.]

How about we'll find a table and enjoy the music? Also, they did mention about this date auction thing.

"Sure, but only for a little while, actually. I'm in the, umm...the date auction, too..."

[When she explains that she's in the date auction as well, Tony became shocked to hear this.]

Wait... You in that date auction?! Why did you even enter it?

"I wanted to test something..."

[It's a rather selfish and dark reason, and she didn't want to divulge too much so soon.]

Test what? You do realize if someone did buy you, you might end up something bad! I mean, most of them are older than you!

[Looks like you might trigger his worries, Anastasia.]

"If my theory is correct, only one person will bid on me, and it will be someone whom I am close to."

Ummm... I don't know if that's a good idea for you...
