I - Darkness Event
What: Darkness Event
Who: Lucifer and Everyone (with your choice of NPC involvement)
Where: Genessia City (Four other cities and dimensions gates are excluded)
When: July 17, 2014
Warnings: Possible deaths. Horror. Flames. Darkness. Lightning. Falling Debris. People falling off buildings.
I
From the highest building of Genessia city emerged a dark and unwavering light. It lifted up into the heavens. It brought with it obsidian smoke swirling around the light as if a shroud of darkness. In an instant the bright skies lost its light. Thick black clouds descended from the heavens. They tossed, tumbled and seemingly kissed the city's skyline. It was noon and yet the sun was no where in sight. With all light, it stole all happiness from people who saw the dreaded skies.
Loud booms, sizzles and crackles were heard beyond the clouds - as if a prelude to the coming event. This lasted a while before everything became hauntingly silent. Nothing could be heard. Everything, from the ground to the skies were silenced.
Waiting.
Aching.
And finally welcoming.
The skies glowed eerily. Dark hues of crimson, azure and silver lined certain portions of the skies. Then a white light glowed. A light which ripped through the space between ground and skies, leaving a crisp sound in its wake. The lightning bolt was strong enough to make the very ground quake at its presence. After a moment of silence, similar bolts of lightning hit different areas of the city. Continuously. Relentlessly.
Following the thunderstorms, came a foul stench raining from the skies. It smelt like rotten eggs. Suffocating. It was Burning Sulfur. With the stench came black flaming orbs which plummeted wantonly on the buildings of Genessia City. It burned anything it could get its hands on.
The terrible weather continued for at least five minutes after it had started. Never softening. Just ending abruptly after it had left most of the city in flames.
II
Not too long after the skies started to brighten, after people assumed a crude state of sanity, an ominous circle of light emerged on top of Genessia Hospital. For a few seconds, there was nothing but silence. But slowly, the circle of light expanded its terrain. Soon, it was large enough to cover the entire medical building. But still it remained silent. For people who have affinity for arcane magic, they can sense the power flowing through the circle - an energy devoid of any positive light.
A minute after the circle first appeared, the land beneath it started to quake. Every pillar and every wall shivering and threatening to fall. Then, the same fire storm that was released around the city was concentrated to fall upon the hospital building. A barrage of obsidian flames fell to the building one after another. Never stopping until the building itself hasn't fallen. After the building has crumbled the flames slowly dwindled into the bright glow of scarlet flames.
((OOC: Each part here comes after each part from Lucifer's Video Feed. So Part I from the feed comes before Part I of the Log. Each section here will be divided to sections deemed appropriate for the event. Any further questions can be addressed from the ooc-community post or from this journal. Fights Lucifer will get into are limited due to ic (after his little show, it'll be too much if he can still fight a horde of people) and ooc reasons (basically too many fights will drive me bananas).))

Fight II - Midboss
The energy bolt connected, and singed against one of Lucifer's wings. For a moment his gaze narrowed. But then right in front of Midboss, thick dark liquid fell upon each other at the gaping hole he left on Lucifer's wings. Quickly it regenerated and drew a steel like consistency. Once more, his blade like wings were complete.
For a moment he disappeared in front of Midboss. "Tyrants", his voice echoed around the dark horizon.
"But not the King of Hell", he drawled as he was hovering behind Midboss. He shifted his glove to create multiple spikes upon it. Then he ran his fist along Midboss' side. Digging into his flesh. The same attack he used to kill that pathetic soldier of love.
Fight II - Midboss
Before he had a chance to think of another plan, Lucifer had disappeared, and a split second later ended up behind him. The voice - cold, dark, unfeeling - sent a chill through him and he froze a moment, just long enough for the claws to dig into him.
"There…are…many…Netherworlds…" he managed to hiss through gritted teeth, as he tried to grab Lucifer's wrist, trying to steel himself against the pain shooting through him. "The only…one who tried…to take them all…" He defeated Baal, he could still win this. He could still save those people. This was nothing! "…I destroyed him!"
He tried to ram his foot into Lucifer's knee, trying to pull his fist away at the same time and get some room to manoeuvre. A red glare came into his eyes. He was not out the fight yet.
Fight II - Midboss
He hissed as the physical contact connected. Midboss was able to free himself from Lucifer's grip. And yet, before Midboss could part ways, he decided a gift should be given for all the pain the demon was causing the Dark Lord.
An arcane bomb. He threw it at the wound. And just smile darkly. As it should explode enough to damage some of his internal organs.
"People will die because of your insolence. People who need oxygen and the hospital's machine to live. They will suffer slowly as their bodies give in to the slow death of having those large pillars fall upon them. Why? Because you decided you wanted to be the hero", he said ominously. He was tired, he can't last long. He needed this guy to either stop or die.
Fight II - Midboss
As it was, his wings beat all the more furiously whilst his mind tried to register what had just happened. He only just heard Lucifer's words through the haze, but without a reply he tried another desperate shot forward, fire forming in his fist. The small blast of fire did not go directly at him - instead curling around and coming at him from behind, exploding at his back or the back of his head, Vyers didn't care which.
Perhaps it was due to his demon blood, but Vyers was stubborn. He was doing everything he could to try and fight through the burning pain in his side. Even if it destroyed him, he had to keep up the fight.
Fight II - Midboss
Then he reappeared behind Midboss. The problem was his wings. So he made his sword disappear, and both gloved hand latched onto Midboss' wings. "You must love your wings so much", he said with death glowing in his eyes.
Fight II - Midboss
The only other one he had known to teleport around a battlefield so effortlessly was the Seraph himself. But this man was nothing like that; he was cruel, merciless and brutal, nothing like his peaceful friend. Vyers was certainly fast - an advantage he readily utilised in battle - but his speed could not match someone who instantly disappeared and reappeared at will like this.
Pain and adrenaline was replaced with cold dread as he felt the hands latch onto his powerful wings - not metallic ones, like Lucifer's, but flesh and blood and bone. "L-let go…!" he could not afford to struggle, not if he hoped to keep his wings in tact, and if he tried to push Lucifer away that would also risk damage. Fire came into his hand again, trying to shoot it behind him and hopefully push Lucifer towards him and earn a bit of space to get his wings free, but from this awkward angle his aim was poor.
Fight II - Midboss
"I'm right, aren't I?", he glowed positively with darkness. He laughed sadistically as the demon tried to shoot Lucifer. The balls of energy hit Lucifer's wings, but he couldn't concentrate on healing himself any longer. He needed to punish this demon for his insolence.
"Let me show you what hell feels like", he hissed. He raised his legs and placed both of his boots behind the little demon. His gloved hands ripping through every fiber of Midboss' wings. "Say goodbye to your wings", he shouted. Without a moments notice, he pulled on Midboss' wings. Detaching them from every connection it had to his back - tugging mercilessly at his very bone. This was how they rewarded the fouls of heaven. Wingdrop!
Fight II - Midboss
Say goodbye to your wings. His vision went white as agony like nothing he had felt before shot from his back all through him, the nerves and bones and flesh suddenly ripping open.
He was screaming with all the strength his lungs could muster, struggling in the vain hope he could get away.
But the damage had been done. He did not even realise he'd begun to fall; with nothing left - no wings, no momentum - to keep him airborne.
Fight II - Midboss
So he watched as the demon started his descent into the cold dark pavement which was brimming with flames. Lucifer clipped his wings back after they slowly regenerated and laughed eerily at the demise of yet another foolish hero.
Fight II - Midboss
The last thing Vyers saw before he lost consciousness was the light of the flames, and his own blood trickling out across the charred pavement.
Lucifer was right. He really did love his wings.
