"I will kill you, Chiyo-obaasan and turn you into one of my....", said a gentle childlike voice. His tone was that of cold amusement. When his wide brown eyes opened, he was not in the same cave as the one used by the Akatsuki during extraction. There was more water in this one. And he seemed to be sleeping in what seemed to be a metallic giant egg shell.

When Sasori woke from his slumber within the Bay, he wasn't hidden underneath Hiruko. In fact, Hiruko was nowhere in sight. But in his hand was the scroll for summoning his precious defensive shell. Not that he was Sasori's favorite doll, but still, Hiruko was a very useful puppet. It was not safe for a puppet master to go around in his own body - that was a weakness for them.

So for anybody who would wish to see Sasori in his true form, they'll have to do so while he was in the Bay. The moment he leaves the Bay, he mysteriously disappears like a true shinobi.

[After an hour, the feed opens with a masked man wearing a farmer's hat. Only his eyes could be seen, and they perpetually looked angry. The man was haunched and wore a long and large black robe with red clouds on them. He was walking slowly, as if he was old. Behind him was a long metallic tail which swooshed from one corner to another. Every step he took, a bell rang melodically.

He arrived at one end of the block. People were just standing behind him, waiting to cross the street. Clearly the pedestrian light was red. Yet, he just walked forward, ignoring everyone's warning. Each car that threatened to hit him met with his tail and was thrown to the adjacent building or road.

By the time he crossed, the road was a complete mess. It was burning with many people injured. Still no emotion can be perceived from Sasori's eyes.]

I hate waiting...[He said with a low and raspy grunt. His voice different from that when he didn't have Hiruko on.]


((ooc: During the feed, the person people will see is not Sasori, but actually Hiruko. Sasori is conveniently hidden inside. But he will introduce himself as Sasori only with Hiruko's body. I apologize in advance for him.))

[When the feed clicks on, a woman can be seen staring into the camera wearing a rather recognizable scarf to anyone that's met Laharl.]

Oy, Genessia, you're late on your tribute again. C'mon people, pudding cups aren't that big a tax so get on it. I'm hungry.

WHAT: Block Party!
WHEN: August 8th, 2pm-9pm
WHERE: The block between Oak & 8th and Nettle & 8th, both ends of which are blocked off with sandbags to prevent traffic from running someone over.
WARNINGS: Don't pee in the ballpit and don't get burnt. --But no probably nothing?

When you arrive, it's very obvious where the party is. If the sandbags blocking off the street aren't an indication, the large hand-painted signs ("BLOCK PARTY! Come one and all!") in extremely neat writing on the front of them and the balloons going in an arch from one end of either side of the sandbag barrier to the other make it pretty obvious. The arrow-shaped signs going down the streets at every street corner for at least 5 blocks out in any direction might help too.

Various balloons are tied up to the trees on the block and there's a pleasant music of actual MUSICAL SINGING BIRDS courtesy of Fluttershy fluttering through the air. The smell of chickens roasting over a rotisserie spit floats through the air and if you follow it, you'll find a canvas canopy over a couple of tables filled with various FOOD like Himawari's cheesecake, Yuuki's salad, Azula's fruit tarts, Sun's fruit bowl, Ryu's sushi, Weiss's chocolate chip cookies (carefully hidden from Ruby with much effort) and lemonade, water, and more (since it's basically whatever anyone shows up with). There's not a ballpit, sorry, false advertising I know-- but there IS a BOUNCE HOUSE for children and small people. (If you pop it, you pay for it, and Weiss will find a way to hunt you down.) There are plenty of places to sit, including the BEACH CHAIRS that Weiss may have borrowed from their apartment's pool... but she definitely plans on returning them, of course and various PICNIC BLANKETS set out on lawns for anyone who didn't get a beach chair. There's a barrel for APPLE BOBBING as well!

Overall, it's a very peaceful experience. But, just that wouldn't be anywhere near enough to make it spectacular. There's a series of events that will be happening as well:

3:15PM: Firebending Show (Performed by Zuko)
4:00PM: Limbo Contest (Prize: A gift card for music credits from "From Dust Till Dawn" in the Vale archway and a large box of chocolate. There is a section to comment for this one so I know who to RNG from.)
5:30PM: Watermelon Smashing Contest (No prize, but you get to eat watermelon.)
6:15PM: Dance (All other events are cleared and the birds will stop to be replaced by very loud music (stereos, but it's there) from a variety of worlds with large rental floodlights on the floor and smoke machines for an excellent outdoor dancing experience.)
7:30PM: Bon Fire. Back to birds for quiet music and a bon fire in the middle of the street, surrounded by rocks to make sure people knew the fire wouldn't spread (even though Weiss is sure Zuko has a handle on it). All the chairs will be brought around in a circle at a safe distance, leaving a circle for any dances that people might want to do on their own.
9:00PM: Fireworks. The end of the party will be set off with a stream of fireworks in the sky! It's actually a pretty impressive show and.. partially affected by Dust to make it look even more impressive.

For everyone still awake (or already awake) at 3 AM in the morning, they will see the murky lake in Everglade glowing eerily. There was nothing but silence, before a loud roar disturbs the surrounding forest. From the lake rose a massive serpent, adorned by gigantic wings. The entirety of its body was made of thick silvery scales.

It was the Leviathan. The very creature locked by Heaven in the bowels of earth. The creature who fed on the sins of humanity and grew from it. For those people who were walking along the lake at the time, they will notice a shady figure. Nothing looks familiar - except for four massive wings attached to the lone figure.

Moments later, Leviathan circled around Genessia and the four cities. No one will see him, because he speeds through the skies easily. However, people will hear his dark and haunting voice, repeating the same words as he hovered over everything.

I

From the highest building of Genessia city emerged a dark and unwavering light. It lifted up into the heavens. It brought with it obsidian smoke swirling around the light as if a shroud of darkness. In an instant the bright skies lost its light. Thick black clouds descended from the heavens. They tossed, tumbled and seemingly kissed the city's skyline. It was noon and yet the sun was no where in sight. With all light, it stole all happiness from people who saw the dreaded skies.

Loud booms, sizzles and crackles were heard beyond the clouds - as if a prelude to the coming event. This lasted a while before everything became hauntingly silent. Nothing could be heard. Everything, from the ground to the skies were silenced.

Waiting.

Aching.

And finally welcoming.

The skies glowed eerily. Dark hues of crimson, azure and silver lined certain portions of the skies. Then a white light glowed. A light which ripped through the space between ground and skies, leaving a crisp sound in its wake. The lightning bolt was strong enough to make the very ground quake at its presence. After a moment of silence, similar bolts of lightning hit different areas of the city. Continuously. Relentlessly.

Following the thunderstorms, came a foul stench raining from the skies. It smelt like rotten eggs. Suffocating. It was Burning Sulfur. With the stench came black flaming orbs which plummeted wantonly on the buildings of Genessia City. It burned anything it could get its hands on.

The terrible weather continued for at least five minutes after it had started. Never softening. Just ending abruptly after it had left most of the city in flames.

II

Not too long after the skies started to brighten, after people assumed a crude state of sanity, an ominous circle of light emerged on top of Genessia Hospital. For a few seconds, there was nothing but silence. But slowly, the circle of light expanded its terrain. Soon, it was large enough to cover the entire medical building. But still it remained silent. For people who have affinity for arcane magic, they can sense the power flowing through the circle - an energy devoid of any positive light.

A minute after the circle first appeared, the land beneath it started to quake. Every pillar and every wall shivering and threatening to fall. Then, the same fire storm that was released around the city was concentrated to fall upon the hospital building. A barrage of obsidian flames fell to the building one after another. Never stopping until the building itself hasn't fallen. After the building has crumbled the flames slowly dwindled into the bright glow of scarlet flames.

Fights Lucifer will get into are limited due to ic (after his little show, it'll be too much if he can still fight a horde of people) and ooc reasons (basically too many fights will drive me bananas).))

Upon waking up, Raven was cursed with unexpected events. Well, maybe not that unexpected, but as the story went, this seemed less likely to happen. Wasn't he just being subdued by a monster? The elderly man didn't think he was dead, or if he was, it happened in the blink of an eye.

The feed would start as such:

"Oh how tragic! Ta be taken so suddenly ta a foreign land by my lonesome. Such cruel fate bestowed upon Ol' Raven."

Over the top melodrama. Check!

"Left with a simple allowance and encouraged ta take up a day job."

Raven was actually displeased with his situation. He was in the middle of some rather important affairs, and this detour proved troublesome. Were any of his friends here? It was hard to tell since he's only been conscious for about an hour.
