Fai D. Flourite
30 October 2017 @ 07:16 am
[Fai adjust the camera, leaning over as he did in front of it. It was clear he was standing up for the time being and with the Cat's Eye somewhat being seen in the background. But Fai was making sure that not everything was on show for the moment.

Once he was sure that the device was on and placed on a stand, he smiled, removing his hands from the device he moved to step back, showing off more of the background of the cafe. The branches seemed to be placed around the place, Auturm themes for the time being.

Behind him sat a table and on top of that table appears to be something covered by a wooden box. What is inside the wooden box is unknown for the time being while Fai stood next to it, hands clapped together, he appears to be happy.]

With the super scary situations now over, I can finally show off something I've been working on... [He paused for a moment, he figured he should at least add on to what he already has just said.] On top of everything else I have been working on, but this is an exclusive item for the Cat's Eye. Call it's the Cat's Eye signature dish if you will.

[A hand trailed over the box, fingers tracing the outside of the box before he moved to stand behind it, both hands on either side of the box.]

It's something I thought would be a nice idea, something different and cute and also a nice little...tribute to someone I knew back home. [As he said that, he lifted the lid. Sitting inside appeared to be a cake. Pink sitting on top and the decoration of pink flowers and branches sitting on top. As Fai looked at it, he couldn't help but give a small smile with an added hint of sadness.]

It's called a Sakura Cake or Cherry Blossom Cake. I worked a long time on making it perfect and now I think I have. I hope that you all come to at least give it a try. [A pause for a moment.]

I am working on other exclusive dishes for my other cafe's based on people I know, so keep an eye or ear out for that.

[He had put the lid back on before any of the cats decided to try and eat it, one had managed to jump onto the table after all, rubbing up against him as he knelt down to give them a little fuss as the device was soon switched off.]

[She's exhausted but Gwen's thankfully only bruised from fighting monsters for several nights running. But the fact shows a few rounds of fighting Daleks had taken its toll.]

Roll call for those with ties to the TARDIS and Torchwood? I'm finally heading back but need to know all is well?

Chiaki Nanami
30 October 2017 @ 08:39 am
[Chiaki was sitting at home playing a very hard game. She appeared to be trying to shoot everything on the screen, but so much was going on it was hard to tell how well she was even doing, but her score kept going up and up. Chiaki herself for a change wasn't solely focused on the game itself. After all how else would this have been turned on.

She soon found herself speaking while playing the game at the same time, still slowly getting her level up.]

What happened in Attleton was.... interesting to say the least. Confronting one's fears... [She paused to finish the level before moving on to the next level. She was still multitasking.]

It's hard to face something like that. I found it hard to but... it also helped me learn something. That... I should confront my fears even though the person I had to face is terrifying and... insane if I had to put a word to it. But I also have learned to move forward, to keep moving forward even if those I care about most aren't here anymore.

[Her usually straight lined face slowly changed to a smile.]

It might not happen overnight, but I will keep moving forward and doing my best. Keep creating the bonds that I have with friends that are still here and have hope that no matter the tough times that may happen, that we will all get through it.

[She finally finished the final level and the score above appeared to be the perfect score.]

On that note... I am wanting to do something that isn't game related. I have a few ideas, but I want to know if anyone wants to do something as a group or not?

Usagi Tsukino

[ ACTION ]

There's a girl wandering around the Bay, looking lost and confused. She's wearing a green sleeveless top, with white shorts, and flat white shoes which are quickly becoming soaked in the water. She looks very lost, understandably uncomfortable, and on the verge of tears.

Still. She's valiantly holding them in. Just because the hologram said there was no way to get back - just because she'd been snatched from a nice relaxing Sunday without any warning at all - just because, just because, just because -

She swallowed. Usagi had been in worse situations. She'd faced down impossible things. She could do this.

... But. She really didn't want to do it alone.

[ VIDEO ]

[ Will wonders ever cease? Usagi somehow figured the right to archway to go through, and she's in Genessia City, judging by the background.

Still, her thumb is in the way for the beginning of the shot, until she realizes she's covering the camera, and fumbles for a bit, trying to hold the phone correctly.

She puts on a fake smile and laughs, probably somewhat convincing. ]

H-hi!

My name is Usagi Tsukino, and I'm sixteen, and I'm from -

- um. Well. I guess that doesn't matter. Ha ha ha ...

So.

...

Are we really, really stuck here? No way out?

There isn't anyone ... bad or scary or evil keeping us here?

And. Are we. Um.

[ Her facade cracks a bit. ]

... Is there really no way for us to at least talk to our friends at home, somehow?

I, for one, am glad that Candy Mountain has disappeared. Maybe now I can sleep in my own bed.|

[She doesn't like candy all that much, and that was just too freaky, even for her!]

Tomorrow is Halloween, and also my birthday. Yet with everything that's happened, I'm ready to skip both.|

[Throughout Everglade, and at every archway of each city, an image is being passed around. It's a poster of a suspect wanted for vandalism and theft. There isn't a reward, as it isn't a bounty, but just a warning that this person may be dangerous and to avoid them. A composite sketch is also on the poster.]

♕ WEISS SCHNEE
30 October 2017 @ 10:37 am
[ She didn't want to do this. Even after it, she'd hesitated to post it. It had taken her some time to come to the conclusion that it was either post this and make Winter understand why what she had posted wasn't okay even if it got results or end up with Winter refusing to talk to her forever and continuing to piss off more people than their father had yet. It'll either make things better or a whole lot worse, though.

It's voice though because she's well aware she looks like a guilt-ridden doe-eyed deer the entire time se's trying to record this, even if she can manage to make her voice sound authoritative from practice. ]

First off, I'd like to start by apologizing for my recent attempt to conquer Nova City. It was wrong and while very few people were actually hurt, it was out of line. Nova City Co-Guardian Vakarian handled the problem to the best of his abilities while Co-Guardian Black handled other situations at hand.

That said, there is one particular instance of incorrectly handled leadership and relational responsibility that I am particularly disappointed in. Winter Schnee, Captain of the Royal Guard from Fayren, failed to identify the problem for what it was despite speaking directly to me. Despite being quite literally in a costume and in the depth of Fayren's problems, she lacked any of the investigative reasoning to infer that I had been to Fayren given that I was wearing an outfit very different from my own. She also lacked the worldly knowledge to recognize that the outfit was that of a comic book villain from my world, and dismissed the matter as "clearly beyond the jurisdiction of Fayren, so it seems there's no need for [her] personal interference."

This shows an irresponsibility for the effects of Fayren's Halloween-induced nightmares that dismissed anything beyond clothing choice as a potential threat from the city. The costumes from Fayren clearly affected behavior and abilities, and she chose not to intervene when others clearly recognized that something was amiss. What is even further and more personally disappointing to me is that she didn't recognize her own sister was behaving erradically beyond anything worth a raised eyebrow. I very nearly killed our father in my Fayren-induced mad pursuit of power and the Captain of the Royal Guard didn't think there was anything that needed her personal attention.

Should such an inobservant and inacting individual, who refuses to act simply because it's no longer in her city despite that her city clearly caused it, have such important responsibilities? I honestly hate to say this because she is, in fact, my sister, but the clear lack of deductive reasoning and social skills would indicate that she has a direct need to be a student more than someone with the right to insubordinately criticize the office her station works for. If Winter Schnee wants to continue in her position, she needs to take the time to learn to respect the people she works for, the people she works with, and the people she works to protect both in and out of Fayren. She needs to realize that inaction is sometimes worse than the wrong action for the right reasons.

locked to Winter
I hope you understand why this is an unacceptable way to communicate issues to someone you respect now.

The effect on Attleton has faded. The town is safe to return for all who have evacuated, life is starting to return to normal.

An announcement regarding the October projects which had to be rescheduled will follow once normal conditions have been restored, at which point the Guardian's office will also hear your concerns.

Jaune Arc
30 October 2017 @ 02:33 pm
[Jaune looks like he hasn't left his apartment all day in his hair is messy, but he has a few important words to say.]

With the criticisms aimed at how the Guardians and Deputies and the people defending them, I feel obligated to point out the biggest oversight everyone missed to this point:

It wasn't Garrus or Mercury who saved the day, and Nova City from a reign which, frankly, wouldn't have been that terrible. It was the strongest, coolest, fastest and second smartest superhero who has laser focused vision on what Nova City lacks: Justice. As someone who's life was personally saved by this man, I'd like to thank X-ray, and ask everyone to give him free pizza and whatever else like attention and stuff because saving the world is hard and it sucks when your thanks is being put in jail.

That being said, knowing X-ray is here has inspired me so I'm going to ask a question: How many people would be interested in forming an inter-city superhero team to fight for justice? Hypothetically speaking.
