I've checked out all of the arcades, and I've been to the really neat cafes in this city, and the cool little restaurants and bakeries, and I've been to the movies but I probably haven't seen them all yet, but -

[It's not an illusion, or a trick if helpless, unsuspecting citizens of Genessia, happen to catch sight of a webslinging man in a blue and red suit testing out his limits in this new area. There's only one way to really explore the city and that's to shoot webs from his wrists and fling himself from rooftop to rooftop with all the care and bravery any teenager would.

Anyone in trouble? He'll drop down in a flash, even if it's just to help with carrying groceries. He is after all, the friendly neighbourhood superhero.]

[He should be upset right? But there's really only one thing that comes to mind at the moment.]

Woohoo! I don't have to go to school today!

[That's his takeaway, he might process more later, but, priorities.]

[The feed clicks on and shows...a sea of blue fabric and wispy white hair. Someone sputters and pulls the device out and the picture is, well, not much improved. Now there's a rather annoyed looking old man glaring at the camera.]

Of all the ridiculous things to saddle me with! I've plenty of things to do back home thank you, if you needed my help well! It would have been polite to ask!

[He knows the feed is on but he still drops the communicator to his side and hums to himself.]

Well it could be worse. At least this place looks half way decent. Really, can't they see I'm a busy man! Arthur's barely taken the throne and oh good heavens does he have a way to go.

I suppose may as well!

[Merlin clears his throat and holds up the device again.]

Now listen here, I'm Merlin and yes you've heard of me and yes I am that Merlin. Now, I'm going to explore Fayren as it seems to be the better place. Pirates aside of course. So if you have anything on where an old man like me can live, well don't keep it to yourself.

[when bernkastel first woke up, she felt nothing. when she scanned the area and determined that she was not where she was meant to be... she still felt nothing. even when listening to the hologram, and knowing that she was suddenly in another realm...

still, she felt nothing. perhaps there was a bit of slight irritation, but that was only because her plans had been messed around with. she had been in the middle of a game, one where she was fighting against the boredom that would eventually kill her. they had taken over beato's game, her and lambda, and they were going to rip it apart and have such fun with it.

now, she was elsewhere. now, she was in a different fragment. from what she could gather... there was an unknown entity that was bringing them here. another world, another kakera, another place that could possibly defeat her boredom.

it was irritating to be here, but she knew that lambda couldn't continue the game without her.]

[now having situated herself in a random cafe she found, she was currently sipping some tea. no, she hadn't paid for it, she had simply been able to conjure it up. the ingredients were here after all, she just had to transfer them to her own table. she sipped it quietly, putting her cup down on its saucer as she spoke at the device. she was a small looking girl, but there was certainly something about her that was extremely intimidating.]

........From what I've been able to gather, no one has ever seen the one that brings them here, correct?

[bern tapped the top of the table with a finger.] Even the game master wishes to hide and refuses to show themselves. Fine, fine fine... I'll play this little game, only for a while... or only until I grow bored of this place.

[because hey, she truly believes that she can leave at any time. she's the witch of miracles after all, and she can leave to different fragments all she wants.]

Though I must say, bringing others here from all other fragments is something I haven't seen. Even I hadn't thought of that. There has been the occasional piece I've let wander in from another time- but that was another matter entirely. [poor, poor ange. but not really.]

Still.... this place may very well be eternal torture. Housing, employment? That may very well kill me before anything else does. [because ugh, boring human shit.]

[he paces in front of the lecture hall, a little bit late and sipping from a bottle of water. After a moment he sets it to the side and sits on the edge of his desk]

Well it seems like things have gotten back to normal since the holiday. I know I had a stint with being somewhat undead for a while-- not reccomended unless you like high stakes.

[a beat of silence]

That was a joke. Anyway. [he picks up a peice of chalk and whirls to write on the board]

Today we're going to talk about something that effects each and every sentient thing on the planet but in a completely different and unique way.

[he writes the 'R E A L I T Y' on the board and underlines it a few times before turning back to the lecture hall]

What is this? No, seriously. What is reality? How do you define it? That's not precisely a rhetorical question since I'll expect essays on the topic but lets look at how others percieve it.

(  First, let's turn to the old bugaboo of the scientific world. Religion. )

Locked to anyone who lets themselves in, action, after they realize....

Amy sat on the sofa. Trying to absorb, tears on her face. Rory was gone? How could Rory be gone?

[For as long as she'd been working on her little pet project, she's more than happy to announce it now that it's finished. Thus the video starts out panning around outside of a one story building that's painted black with white stripes in what some might recognize as out in the forests of Everglade. There's a bunch of makeshift spotlights shining on the building and there only seems to be one door that's a little difficult to spot.

After a moment or two of that the camera is finally settled on some surface facing Lydia, who has her palms placed against each other in front of her chest and a giant grin plastered on her face.]

I'm so excited to be introducing this little beauty to everyone! [She's practically bursting with energy on this one, voice almost sing-song in a slightly irritating way.]

This, darlings, is what I call Wonderland. Something much like what I had back home and is certainly no business, I have no need for your money here, after all. But that's not the point. You're probably all wondering what Wonderland is, right? Of course you are.

Wonderland is a re-purposed abandoned building of which I'll be hosting various little... game shows and the like, mostly just for fun than anything else. Since, you see, that's what I did back home with my brother. We liked to entertain and completely for free! I wouldn't mind something like a co-host, but I'm very particular about who I work with, so for now it's just little old me~

So this is what I'd like to ask all of you: what kind of shows do you like to see? I can adapt to whatever and add my own little homeworld twist on it.

[The communication clicks on with Mirajane cleaning mugs behind the Fairy Tail bar with a rag.]

Good evening everyone! It's that time of year when it gets colder and we can't really enjoy outdoor activities as easily, but it's the perfect time for indoor activities that keep us warm! So I'd like to make an invitation to all the ladies of Genessia~! This December, on the 15th, why not stop by the Fairy Tail bath house for a little group bathing party? I always prefer having friends with me when I'm getting clean and this might be the perfect opportunity to meet people without the trappings of society getting in the way. It's a bit of a tradition where I'm from for women to bond this way, so I hope I'll at least see my guild members and friends come!

If you can't make it, or baths aren't your thing, that's fine too! You're always welcome to come get a drink at the Fairy Haven guild hall bar. [ She said she can be, not that she was going to be. Before he can object Weiss starts the recording, a slightly teasing look in her eyes like he can’t argue anymore since she pressed record, but her gaze turns to the recording. ]

Sun and I have an announcement to make to everyone.

[ And so goes the pause for dramatic effect. She takes a deep breath so she doesn’t just blurt it out before he gets a word in edge-wise, though it’s obvious she’s bouncing on the balls of her feet as she waits for Sun to speak, giddiness apparent throughout her demeanor. ]

I asked Weiss a very important question and her answer to it made me so happy and her so excited that we just have to share the news.

[Sun turns his attention over to her.]

So tell me again, what was your answer to the question I asked?

I mean, technically I just put the ring on and let you give me those cute dumb-founded double-takes you do. [ What? A little teasing never hurt. (And she really does love how surprised he looked.) ] Then I said yes.

I mean, you totally stole away my chance to put it on you by putting it on yourself. But I forgive you, Weiss. [As long as she accepted and is wearing the ring, he didn’t care how it got on her finger.]

So we are formally announcing that [He waits for Weiss to join him in saying these next words.]

We got engaged! We got engaged! [Like it’s not obvious by this point anyway. But saying those words just makes it feel all the more real.

The buzzing Weiss had been doing up until that point had finally broken out into the worst camera work ever intentionally posted on the network as she started jumping up and down excitedly a couple of times before holding the ring out to show the camera, then turning to kiss Sun on the cheek. ]

We haven’t started planning anything yet so a date for the wedding isn’t set at all. We are just happy with this for now, but once we start- or well, once WEISS starts planning stuff, I’m sure she will let you all know.

I’m glad you know me so well, I already told Jaune he’s going to have to help you through this. [ She says it with a pat on his arm. They know each other so well, they didn’t even have to discuss this and she already made arrangements for him to deal with her inevitable micromanagement. ] I’m ready for people to congratulate us now.
