Christmas Eve Party!
WHO: Anyone willing to behave themselves for a nice Christmas party!
WHAT: Weiss's Housewarming/Christmas Eve Party
WHEN: Christmas Eve
WHERE: Team RWBY's new house
WARNINGS: Mistletoe is hung in one of the corners! Avoid it if you don't wanna get smooched! (But seriously if anyone has anything here that needs a warning please tell me.)

It's Christmas Eve and it's cold outside! Perhaps you should come in, enjoy some refreshments, chat, sing a song at the karaoke station, or open up your Secret Santa gifts? There's plenty of room to wander around and plenty of fun to be had! While furniture doesn't seem to be overly plentiful, there's a coat closet near the entrance and plenty of room for party guests in the family room, kitchen (where the food is!) and breakfast nook, and the outside deck. There are Christmasy pine garlands with signs that say "Guests are asked to remain in the party area! Thank you!" cutting off rooms beyond those and classy decorations adorning the designated party area (plus doilies at the dining table). At the center of the family room is a well-lit Christmas tree.

Naturally, if you have another location that you would like to direct your thread, you're welcome to make a thread of your own-- but if it's in an area that's off limits, unless your character is accompanied by one of Team RWBY (or are going to the restroom- which hopefully there won't be any threads for that) your character will get told to go back to the party if your character is caught! If they get caught more than once, they may be asked to leave. :( We don't want that!
The party evening will round out with Weiss and Blake singing a duet of "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" for everyone, so please have a Merry Christmas! (And happy all holidays!)

The little youkai did seem to grow more excited as her sister was brought up. "Yes! She's super nice and amazing! She calls herself Satori though because we choose our own names and she was the most well known satori in the ancient city at the time. Also, she's not super creative like that. She spells it out in hiragana instead of using the kanji though."
Koishi paused once more, blinking twice... "Satori means 'enlightened' by the way." So much Japanese...

"'Satori' indeed. Good of you to limit yourself to respect psychic privacy. And, I trust if she's as super nice as you say, she'll be equally respectful of one's mind, eh? Well, in any case, I would like to visit, when it's convenient for you."

"I wanted people to stop throwing rocks at me. Our powers don't turn off so we always read minds and people don't like that. But it's hard to judge someone when you can already see EVERYONE's sins. But everyone takes it so personally they really start to hate us. Sis will read your mind because she can't help it."
She placed her hat back on. It's slightly lopsided build more justified now. It was protecting that scar. "Now I can read the subconscious instead though so it's okay. I can see emotions and always tell if someone is lying. It's really neat."

No reason to be morose, anyway. Weep with those who weep and everything, but she wasn't weeping, so neither would he. "That does sound very useful. I used to knew someone...Freudian, I think his discipline was. Doubtless he would've found such an ability tremendously helpful."
no subject
A pause. "Freudian...? Oh! Him! The nice gap lady gave me some books of his a long long time ago. I think sis has some of them. He was a silly human with silly ideas. They were interesting ideas but the subconscious isn't exactly how he described it. But it was interesting though."

Ted gave a nervous laugh. "Ah ha. So you've heard of him, eh? Glad we're in agreement; incredibly silly. I'm curious to see what kind of animals make hell, er, the place where hell used to be, their home. If they're as kind as you, it ought to be enjoyable. Very well, if you don't mind spoiling me, I'd love to visit."

Koishi perked up quite a bit when Ted brought up the animals again. "Noo. The native animals of old hell are terrible beasts that have survived from when hell was functional. Not all of them did but there are a lot of strange worm things as big as four humans that burrow through the ground with entirely too many teeth. But don't worry. Sis drove them all away from the palace a long time ago. She's good at being scary."
"She likes to keep other things as pets though. Animals from the surface. We have bunnies and foxes and dogs and a chubby raccoon. His name is Scribbles and he will steal shiny things and food from your pockets."

Her third eye floated closer, restless as it drifted around. "You're really welcome Mister. You can come to Old Hell anytime. Tell Sis that I invited you, okay? She'll be more friendly and less grumpy if you do that. She's always grumpy with new people."
no subject
"I'll be sure to do that. Er, where is it, exactly? I suppose I could just go digging, but that may take a while."

She rummaged in her pocket and fished out a little business card, offering it to him. The front had the location of the party and on the back was an ad for Betelgeuse's danmaku school.
"Its really a lot of fun. I bet you could do it too. It just takes practice. Give it a try while you're there, okay?"
no subject
"Ah, yes. Wouldn't be much of a festival if a man of my intelligence couldn't find it. Still, I meant to refer to your curious underworld. You'll forgive me; I have a hard enough time navigating our much more familiar 'terra firma'. How am I to find this place? Is there a queer oriental rhyme to chant before the jaws of hell unhinge?"
