Action for Genessia | Eventual Video
[He had several questions, upon waking up. An uncomfortable concoction of emotions and reactions bubbling around inside of him, all demanding he do something.
... So he collected his communicator. And the money he'd woken up beside. And then he consulted the hologram, memorizing every word. He went outside, and grabbed the appropriate pamphlets, reading it all very carefully, noting well the map.
At some point, anyone down by the bay would find him sitting, calm, at least by all appearances, slowly scrolling through the communicator, reading, listening to, and watching every single post he could access.
Granted, if anyone came near, they'd find themselves being addressed.]
Excuse me, if I may have a moment of your time?
[And there he is, looking calm, cool and confident. Still outside, apparently, the sounds of street traffic make that pretty clear]
Before I begin introducing myself, is there anyone present who knows what I mean when I say I'm currently looking for members of the Voltron Coalition?

Re: [Video]
I'm not a paladin, I doubt I could fly any of the lions.
I'm to gather she's no longer present? How long ago was she here?
[He personally doesn't remember her leaving, but then, he wasn't really around the team quite as long as the others.]
Re: [Video]
It's been months... Almost a whole year. Sometimes they come back though, especially when people from the same world appear.

Walmart greeterclownhelpful young man coming right up! Ted always passes The Bay on his usual meanderings for just this sort of thing.]Certainly, if you'll suffer introductions first. I'm Ted. Yourself?
Re: [Action]
[Eschewing titles for now.]
I apologize for my briskness, but time is of the essence. Some of the information I've gathered suggests that the passage time in this particular dimension functions differently than others.
Could you further elaborate upon this?
Re: [Action]
[Since "Lotor" is Latin for "washing". He chuckles again at the double-meaning in "time is off the essence.]
Good one. Do you refer to the common theory that time "back home" is still, and therefore no reason to fret? Would I knew the reasoning behind that; as present I can only infer. What have you heard as to the deductive logic?
[It's a theory that certainly gets around, but he's yet to hear how it makes sense. It's not as though they can observe.]

Welcome to Genessia.
Whut can I help you with?
Re: [Action]
[He gestures to the pamphlet]
The material here indicates that I'm to procure a job, if I'm to remain comfortable here.
[He could sit here and argue about how unfair that is, but it's not like that'll get him anywhere]
I know this may sound strange, but it's nothing I've had to do before. Where do I go about locating a job that matches my skill set?
[He didn't have to apply to be prince, after all, and getting promoted to emperor involved less paperwork and more swords being liberally applied to faces.]
Re: [Action]
We're all from everywhere in the multiverse. Hardly strange at all.
Look in the newspaper.
In the meantime -
[Ten pulls out a good thick stack of bills and offers that to Lotor; after all his Tardis is rent free - outside of what The Doctor gave up personally for her]

[To be addressed is actually a bit of a surprise, and she turns about, expression curious.
And then a little bit surprised. She can't help it, she stares for a moment at the tall, lovely figure. For a second, she has the odd thought that he was just an abnormally tall and pale drow, but no. His eyes, and really she'd never seen any drow so light they'd be purple.
She blinks quickly, realizing she was staring a bit. She didn't want to be rude.]
Ah, hello. How can I help?
Re: action
Hello. May I ask, did you awaken here against your will as well?
action
[She reached into a small pouch bound to a belt at her hip, drawing out the necklace she'd woken up with that day, its most prominent jewel being green.]
I apologize if that was confusing. I honestly don't know if I can trust this thing yet or not.

ACTION - prose because lmao I suck
Lotor definitely wasn't one of her people, but the sight of pointy ears had drawn the hatchet-faced warrior into conversational range, just barely, while the newcomer was scrolling through his phone. When spoken to, Alleyana looked very slightly taken aback.
"...Uh, sure?"

"What is the name of your planet?" May as well just... ask. Better than assuming.
no subject
"Thedas," look, it didn't take a genius to know why he was asking. "Gonna go out on a limb and guess yours is different."
What with, you know.
Being purple.

[If she only knew about the giant robots. IF SHE ONLY KNEW.]
I'm Orihime Inoue. I run Cake Town just down the street. Feel free to stop by, newcomers get loads of free samples.
Re: [Video]
I see.
I'm Lotor. I'm sure you can tell that I've just arrived.
[Not stated for the sake of getting free samples, just acknowledgement]
I'll keep the samples in mind. Is it true that everyone here is from a different universe?
[She really is. Purple elves are just as exciting as robots.]
Yes, mostly! Some people are from the same universe. And some people are even from the same universe but different points in time. I guess this place really likes variety!
[She shrugs, beaming.]
It's disorienting at first, but most everyone here is really nice. They make it easy to adjust in the meantime. What kind of place did you come from?

[Not a very friendly reply but an reply nonetheless by perhaps the snazziest dresser in all of Genessia City. Augustine gives the young man a quick glance from the corner of his inhumanly red eyes. He was passing through this plaza dressed in one of his elaborate red & black suits when the youth stopped him. Astaroth was beside his side a moment ago but the shadowy demon retreated to the shadows leaving only its monstrous silhouette behind.]
...What an odd color. [Augustine mutters under his breath as he examines the boy.] You must be another lost soul lulled here by the spirits who rule this realm.
[The dhampir sighs somewhat.]
Such a common tale.
Re: [action]
None of it. I apologize for delaying you, sir.
[Maybe he should have taken Alley up on that drink.]

action - prose
"Sure," spoken from around his cigarette, the smoke drifting through the air. Sanzo didn't hide that he was sizing the guy up, but he wasn't being hostile about it.
Dude looked like a youkai, but, in the end that meant nothing. Even if he was one, it meant nothing.
"What do you need?" Look, when people were polite to the high priest he tended to return the favor, at least until he felt he had a reason not to.
no subject
There was some hint of some decent physical strength, but that was frankly about it.
Lotor gave no indication that he thought much of Sanzo at all, every human had a tendency to sort of just look like all the rest of them. No major feelings either way.
"You are from earth, correct?" He'd spoken earlier with a human (or what he'd assumed to be human), who claimed a point of origin other than earth... Which was interesting, considering most of the human race hadn't wandered too far from earth quite yet.

Zipping through the air, she floated over to Lotor, smiling hugely. She remained cloaked for a time, drifting sideways, tilting her head a bit before she reached out and poked his shoulder.
"Hello there! Mister? Can you see me? Can you hear me? Hello?" It would work eventually. Her perception filter could only do so much when she was making a pest of herself.
Re: [Action]
Yeah he saw her and felt her and heard her pretty much instantly, and he jerked to the side, just barely resisting the urge to snatch at his sword.
Oh. ... A child.
"... Yes. I can."
