3. Mushroom, Chestnut, and Camembert Puff Pastry Parcels (Vegetarian Option) w/ White Cabernet
(All items served with a choice of garden salad or spicy cucumber salad.)
(Wines will be substituted for those underaged or upon request with a choice of water or white grape juice.)

1. Hazelnut Chocolate Star Cups - Design ref. A dark chocolate balloon cup coated with finely chopped hazelnuts so that look like stars in the night sky. Inside, it's filled with a layer of nutella mousse and topped with a fudge frosting and a piped tempered white chocolate star.
2. Coconut Pannacotta and Pineapple Stars. Design ref. A creamy yet light pannacotta dish with star-cut pineapples with caramelized edges, covered with a thin and crunchy spun sugar display.
3. Tiramisu Glasses - Design ref. Tall glasses filled with a marscapone whipped cream, a layer of coffee-soaked lady fingers, and topped with puff pastry stars and berries.
(Dessert is served with a choice of a 6oz coffee, tea of choice, or hot cocoa.)

The more comfortable he got with the steps, the more relaxed Lucy felt. Leaning against him in his hold, her steps moving instinctively to the music, her head coming to rest against his shoulder. She could be on cloud nine for as light as her steps were, being able to spend time with someone as important as him. "...we'll always be together, right?" She murmured back in a low voice to match his, her arms absently sliding around to close around his back. She wasn't looking at him either though, her eyes closed with a blissfully happy smile on her face. It was just so peaceful and nice - she didn't have to think about the guild, or her friends, or what was going on back home. Not for tonight, anyway. "Natsu..."

By now those who had been eying either of them had probably realized what a hopeless endeavor that had been from the start. After all both Natsu and Lucy seemed to be dancing in their own personal world rather than there with the few still brave enough to dance even to such music.

"Always. I'm done leaving or losing things." Natsu answered just as quietly.

Those who weren't shooting them envious glances were too busy 'awww'ing at the cute couple-that-isn't-a-couple-yet. The ones that had been holding out hope for a chance to get in there to dance with the good looking gent or his fair princess were quickly realizing that neither partner seemed willing (or able) to separate from the other anytime soon.

She really hoped he'd be able to keep his promise, but she couldn't help but worry about what the future would bring. She didn't say that, though it may well have been the way she held him tighter, sighing faintly. "... good." she managed after a moment. "... I can't lose you again. I don't want to." Even if he left her a letter, promising he'd be back in a year, it was hell for her. If he'd been with her, the shock of Fairy Tail disbanding wouldn't have been as bad - they could have figured things out together.

As long as they got them message then that was enough. Not that Natsu cared about what they thought as long as they stayed away. Even so Natsu felt a stab of guilt when Lucy told him those things. He gave her body a more reassuring embrace as the song started heading towards its conclusion.

"You won't lose me. I promise"

She nodded mutely against his shoulder, though she didn't let go of him. It wasn't until the song ended and the DJ started looking for another CD to put in, giving the dancers a little reprieve, that she realized she was clinging to him like she was afraid that even after that promise, something would still take him away. No, he promised, and he didn't break promises. She glanced up at him, searching his face for a moment, her hand raising from his back to curl against his cheek.

Natsu knew he'd have to make good on that promise or else he would never forgive himself let alone Lucy. One year away had changed her quite a bit after all and not all of it was good even if she was strong and daring enough to challenge him to a spar now.

When she pulled her hand up to his cheek, he didn't flinch or pull away, instead just letting her hand do whatever Lucy wanted while his eyes slowly met Lucy's trying to figure out the extent of her thoughts at that point in time.

Lucy was trying to figure out the extent of her thoughts herself, though she couldn't pull her gaze away from his once her eyes locked with his. In fact, she was leaning up, closer towards him, her hand sliding up from his cheek into his hair. What COULD be going through her mind anyway?

He still wasn't stopping her, even as her hand slid up to his cheek and then into his pink spiky hair. That was softer than it really looked. Something Lucy was becoming very acquainted with right about now.

She was extremely fond of the feel of his hair, much to her surprise. Still, she closed in a little more, close enough that he could even feel her breath against his cheek. A little closer --

And the moment is shattered as a particularly shrill giggle pierced the air as a tipsy couple passed by almost close enough to knock right into them. Startled by the sound, Lucy immediately pulled away, her heart pounding as she stared at her partner for a second, and then glanced towards the source of the noise.

She'd been wrapped up in that moment long enough for the DJ to find more music to play (which didn't take long really), so the dance floor was filling up again. Taking advantage of Lucy's moment of surprise, the giggling woman tried to step in, glancing between the pair, "Oo, are you all done, or can I steal your partner away for a dance? I'll trade you Reginald -"

Surprising even herself, Lucy's hand snapped out and grabbed Natsu's hand, glaring at the interloper. Honestly couldn't she see that they were having a Moment(tm) there? ... .... ... wait, what? "He's -Mine-." She growled. Damnit, it was bad enough when people were just giving him looks, now someone actually had the nerve to try to come between them? How dare they.

.......Wait. WHAT. Lucy recoiled slightly, casting a quick, nervous glance at Natsu and then back at the dancers. "I... I mean, he's...my partner..." She shook her head, her voice getting even quieter, "I'm not interested in dancing with anyone else, sorry." Jeez Lucy, embarrassed much? At least her grip on Natsu's hand slackened enough for her to pull her hand away. But she's not looking at him either, blushing enough to create a new color in the crayon box. It's not what you think Natsu!

Such a peaceful moment completely ruined. But before he could even get one annoyed growl or glare, Lucy did that for him, surprising Natsu with how blunt and aggressive her response was. So much so that he could only stare at her with wide eyes until she snapped out of it and tried to pull her hand back. Too bad his own hand would squeeze it right back.

"Then lets get back to dancing." Natsu said and pulled Lucy away from the likely speechless woman who had gotten put in her place by Lucy's ire. As he walked past a few other couples, Natsu was replaying Lucy's words in his mind. He was hers? That was a new concept and yet he didn't feel anything off about it.

Lucy was almost too surprised by her own knee-jerk reaction to that other woman to realize Natsu had reclaimed her hand and was pulling her away. She only just barely caught the outraged huff of 'I NEVER' from the other woman, with her then partner soothing the ruffled feathers. As for Lucy, she was trying to sort out her own reaction and trying to think of something to say. "U-um..." She's a writer damnit, it shouldn't be this hard to say something.

"You okay Lucy? Don't wanna dance anymore?" Natsu asked, acting as if nothing out of the ordinary had just happened. A level of courtesy one would certainly not expect from the Slayer.

Lucy was a little surprised by his response - acting like everything was totally normal, even though she knew he must think strange things about her for her reaction. Still, if he had pressed her for questions she would have freaked out and made a quick escape to avoid embarrassing herself. ... Did he anticipate that, and decide not to ask to avoid her getting uncomfortable and awkward around him?

"No, I do...!" She answered hastily, "But..." Uh... well ... ... she shook her head. "N.. nevermind. Let's... keep dancing." She was going to try to put her moment of possessive jealousy out of her head. Even though the 'He's Mine' declaration kept repeating itself. Oh she was so embarrassed.

One would never know. The inside of Natsu's mind was a mystery to everyone. Either way his actions seem to suggest some degree of awareness and respect for her this time. So why not just leave it at that.

"You're trailing behind Lucy." He pointed out once they started moving to the music, step after step slowly becoming more in tune with the melody and each other.

Lucy jumped a little at Natsu's words, shaking her head a little. "R... right. Sorry." She pulled her thoughts away from what happened, focusing on the music, the slight frown fading and being replaced by a genuine smile again. She could worry about what happened later, right now she was with him, and that was all that mattered. Nothing and no one was going to get between that.

Natsu kept watching her intently until she relaxed into the original flow of the dance. Seemed his little wager paid off in the end because Lucy's enjoyment of the dance was back in full force and that was all he wanted really. After all it was the main driving force behind dancing with her to being with. To make Lucy happy and enjoy her company.

Fortunately for Lucy, the next two songs being played were more upbeat, so it was easier to distract herself from things and just enjoy dancing with her partner. At least, until it started to get later in the evening and the song styles changed to something quiet and slower again. But when that happened, she didn't hesitate in closing in with him. It felt just... right being with him like this.

Once the songs slowed down again he stepped in closer of his own accord but also to lean in closer to speak into her ear.

"Feeling better now?" He asked softly.

Lucy caught her breath slightly feeling him leaning closer. That question though - oh she's ... really not sure which part he was referring to. Was she feeling better now that she got that off her chest? Was she feeling better from being upset that someone thought they could pull him away? Something else?

"W-what? I..." She hesitated, managing a small nod, "... yes, actually..." Still flustered, she managed to look up towards him, "...thanks." For pulling her away from that rude, rude lady.

Maybe he meant all of those things. Or maybe he meant the obvious. Either way Natsu waited for an answer and when she managed to give him one, broke into a relieved smile.

"Good. You're supposed to be having fun and smiling and laughing." Natsu pointed out as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

Augh, that was a point blank smile and she didn't have any defenses up! It was like the sun, she couldn't look directly at it for too long or she'd melt. She pulled her attention away, deciding it might be safer to lean a little into his embrace, so she couldn't see his face so easily. Resting her cheek against his shoulder instead, "I always do, when I'm with you." He always made sure of that, cheering her up whenever she was down. Even now.

Natsu allowed her that only resting his chin ever so lightly atop Lucy's head as their bodies moved to the melody playing all around them, unintentionally garnering a lot of attention with their closeness and comfort with one another.

She would like nothing more than to spend several more hours like this, combining her love of dancing and enjoying her partner. Though the dance isn't forever, much to her disappointment, although it takes her a few minutes to realize that the music has stopped and people were filing off of the dance floor. Many of them giving them amused or knowing smiles that made her glance away sheepishly.

"I...think the dance is over." She managed after a moment. REEEEEEEEEALLY not wanting to pull away, but somehow forcing herself to let her arms move to gently push him away. Well, if he was having trouble letting go of her anyway.

She really should clear up the 'he's mine' statement she made earlier, but...she kind of didn't want to. She meant it, after all.

Funny how she wasn't the only one to lose track of time in the arms of the other. Then again Lucy was the only one who actually knew the full schedule of the party. So Natsu didn't really have anything to keep track of.

"Hmm? Oh guess it is." Natsu mumbled and slowly ad very reluctantly pulled away from Lucy when he felt her arms slip.

Lucy glanced around awkwardly at first, "So we should...um... head back."

Maybe she was slowly going crazy, because she still wanted to be close to him. No, she definitely was going crazy, because she actually, casually, let her arm slip around him, telling herself it was just to keep from getting separated. Though she did shoot a few sharp glances at anyone that looked in their direction, either in an 'aww' sense or 'flirty'. No flirting with her partner, damnit.

Oh god, this was a date wasn't it. Before she could let that sink in though, distraction came in the faint pops and other such fireworky noises outside. "Ah, that's right, there was mention of fireworks in the program. Do you want to watch before we go back h.. before we go back?"
