I - SETUP (12:00pm-5:00pm)

For any and all who agreed to help with the decorations, this would be the time to gather at the Hotel. A large list of assignments will be posted on the wall near the entrance, with duties including but not limited to:

1. Setting Tables, including placement of centerpieces
2. Wall and ceiling decorations, involving a lot of gossamer drapery and lights
3. Preparing the buffet table, with a mixture of hot and cold foods, as well as a separate table at the end for delectable deserts
4. Getting all necessary equipment on stage for the Live Band to perform. Sound Checks may occur throughout.
5. A side dressing room area set up exclusively for those who volunteered to take the time to get ready themselves, including special hair and makeup stations and a large rack to hang their dresses & shoes to change into later

II - HOTEL LOBBY (6:30pm onward)

Cozy and luxurious in its own right, those who arrive before Prom is scheduled to begin will be allowed to lounge in the Hotel Lobby for a spell. Meeting and greeting other early birds and partaking in a select few hors d'oeuvre made available while waiting for the doors to open

III. - PROM PHOTOS!

In the far corner of the lobby, a cute backdrop will be set up, ready for any and all couples/groups/brave souls going stag for the evening to take a memorable photograph! Selfies are welcome throughout, but for those desiring a more professional setup, Hikari Yagami will be on hand for the first and last hours of the night for "official" Prom Photos.

IV - EATING/DRINKING

With a "bar" consisting of 90% nonalcoholic beverages--the remaining ten percent reserved for of age chaperones--and a buffet table spanning the length of the side wall, there will be no shortage of food options that night! Hot pasta dishes, cold sandwiches, fruits, vegetable platters, and a special end section devoted to some of the best sweets Genessia's bakeries have to offer!

Of course, what prom would be complete without the traditional Fruit Bowl Punch? Better get a sip in early, though...because some traditions never die, and it's not like those in charge can keep an eye on that bowl the entire night, can they?

V. - DANCE FLOOR

With a live band (Thank you, Professor!) ready to rock, you'll soon be dancing the night away, under ethereal decorations that will really make you feel like you're dancing among the stars!

In between sets, there will be a DJ spinning a mixture of slow dances, crowd favorites, and songs that'll really get the party rockin' (~~LMFAO style~~).

VI. - CHAPERONES

Because somebody's got to make sure the kids behave.

Hopefully actual adults who can behave themselves.

VII. - MINGLING/MISC.

What other shenanigans could the teens and tweens of Genessia possible get up to? The night is young, and so are they~

[Satou looks back to the flowers, now apologetic,] I haven't been considering their feelings at all..!

[Though, given that her empathy can sense feelings... She corrects herself again a moment later, shoulders sinking with disappointment.]

I don't sense any love from them... Is this truly my one-sided romance hell..?

Are you okay?

If it is... you're doing good so far. Flowers can't really reject you, just not be super affectionate back. What you see and smell, that's all you get.

I was doing better before my heart was broken...

[The answer is "No." She's not okay. She is clearly not in her right mind.]

I guess that's true... This must be how boys with 2D crushes feel. [Satou sighs.] A one-sided love based in art.

[Ooookaaaay. Rose should probably stop joking around all the time. The one person in the multiverse who got her jokes was even having troubles keeping up with them lately, and they got her exiled once anyway.]

[She takes Satou gently by the shoulders with one arm and steers her into the dance floor.]

The great thing about flowers is there's always more. And now you have a better idea of what love you are looking for. Someone who loves you back, yeah? So get out onto the dance floor and find a young blossoming romance.

[Gently kisses her cheek!] You'll be back before you know it! [Offers a handshake!] I'm Rose, by the way. Rose Tyler. Welcome to prom.

[Unfortunately, bringing Satou closer to the dance floor probably isn't the solution. With more lovey dovey couples to sponge feelings off of, Satou's empathy becomes an even worse problem.

Adding to everything is the fact that Rose just introduced herself... And she has a floral name.]

M-Ms Rose..! [This child is swooning. So pretty, so cool..! Another flower..! She reaches out to take Rose's hand.] Thank you... Eheh~! This is my first time at a prom. I was worried I would ruin it with my empathy, but this is fun~.

[Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh empathy.... Rose laughs softly.]

Ohhhhhh... that explains it! And I thought I was bad with mine, but mine is just... normal human. Is yours magic?

Nah, you couldn't ruin it. Empaths mostly ... [WINCE. Sorry for the wording, but hopefully your punch-drunk state will lessen the blow!] hurt themselves. There should be enough people here um. Who aren't coupled. [Giggles, and pushes her hair back with a hand.] And if it gets too much, I have a friend, Koishi, if you don't know her already, she can really help with that sort of thing.

[Here, Satou, she will start you off spinning in a dance to hopefully get you relaxed and maybe more centered!] Are you going to be okay after all this? Later tonight I mean?

[And here is Satou, swooning over Rose still. The talk about her empathy is grounding: Satou has the mental capacity to connect the dots between her own silliness and her empathy, but she needs help getting out of the emotional cloud first.

Spinning, the young teen giggles and smiles.]

Koishi? I don't know the name~ Does she have empathy too? [She pauses, thinking. Her heart is still lost in affection that is being projected on Rose... But logically, she does remember her safety net:] I told Sync that I'm a weirdo~. He promised to throw me in the punch bowl if I get outta hand, eheh~

Nah! Her sister does though. Koishi's more... good at neutralizing it?

[Blinks. Smiles.] Well hopefully we won't reach that point, it'd be a shame to ruin your dress and hair, yeah?

Eh! Neutralizing it~ I wonder what that means?

[She giggles again, then takes a deep breath. Neutralizing it sounds like a good idea. Maybe she should reign in her own empathy--] Whew! Right... I don't actually want him having to do that... Chill out, Satouu.

[A face scrunch.] It's sort of... calming?

[And a laugh, and Rose shook her head.] So long as you're having fun, I don't think it's a problem to be a little over the top, yeah? More worried about you! But you seem so happy, is that really such a bad thing? [Happy laughs!]

W-Well, I think it's okay until I'm thinking of making out with flower vases. [She giggles in embarrassment now. Hoh boy. That is not how she wants to be remembered in Genessia.] Th-Thank you for saving my reputation... That was a close call~!

[Pauses mid-step with a blink and tries not to stumble!!]

Ah...

I hadn't realized it was that close...

Is being out here worse???

[NO WAIT.]

[A giggle and facepalm!] That was a joke, right? Sorry, I can be so daft...

Ah, well... N-No, I was really... The flower vase was really... [Satou is too embarrassed to continue. It's hard to admit that you were romantically attracted to inanimate objects!]

My empathy is weird. It gives me "mob mentality" if I'm not careful. I just need to think straight.

Sooooo... is here better? [Glances around!] There should be lots of singles out here, so it's good to get out there again, yeah?

Yeah... It doesn't feel as overwhelming here.
