I - SETUP (12:00pm-5:00pm)

For any and all who agreed to help with the decorations, this would be the time to gather at the Hotel. A large list of assignments will be posted on the wall near the entrance, with duties including but not limited to:

1. Setting Tables, including placement of centerpieces
2. Wall and ceiling decorations, involving a lot of gossamer drapery and lights
3. Preparing the buffet table, with a mixture of hot and cold foods, as well as a separate table at the end for delectable deserts
4. Getting all necessary equipment on stage for the Live Band to perform.  Sound Checks may occur throughout.
5. A side dressing room area set up exclusively for those who volunteered to take the time to get ready themselves, including special hair and makeup stations and a large rack to hang their dresses & shoes to change into later

II - HOTEL LOBBY (6:30pm onward)

Cozy and luxurious in its own right, those who arrive before Prom is scheduled to begin will be allowed to lounge in the Hotel Lobby for a spell. Meeting and greeting other early birds and partaking in a select few hors d'oeuvre made available while waiting for the doors to open

 

III. - PROM PHOTOS!

In the far corner of the lobby, a cute backdrop will be set up, ready for any and all couples/groups/brave souls going stag for the evening to take a memorable photograph! Selfies are welcome throughout, but for those desiring a more professional setup, Hikari Yagami will be on hand for the first and last hours of the night for "official" Prom Photos.

IV - EATING/DRINKING

  

With a "bar" consisting of 90% nonalcoholic beverages--the remaining ten percent reserved for of age chaperones--and a buffet table spanning the length of the side wall, there will be no shortage of food options that night!  Hot pasta dishes, cold sandwiches, fruits, vegetable platters, and a special end section devoted to some of the best sweets Genessia's bakeries have to offer!

Of course, what prom would be complete without the traditional Fruit Bowl Punch?  Better get a sip in early, though...because some traditions never die, and it's not like those in charge can keep an eye on that bowl the entire night, can they?

V. - DANCE FLOOR

With a live band (Thank you, Professor!) ready to rock, you'll soon be dancing the night away, under ethereal decorations that will really make you feel like you're dancing among the stars!

In between sets, there will be a DJ spinning a mixture of slow dances, crowd favorites, and songs that'll really get the party rockin' (LMFAO style).

 

VI. - CHAPERONES

 

Because somebody's got to make sure the kids behave.

Hopefully actual adults who can behave themselves.

I - SETUP

[Clipboard in hand with a list of all the afternoon's tasks, Hikari will be found...just about anywhere at any given time. Checking on the lights to be hung over the dance floor. The centerpieces for the tables. Taking stock of the food deliveries, and with a bit of help from the Hotel Staff, keeping the hot dishes sitting in a warm oven and the cooler dishes refrigerated.]

[Somehow, she manages to find time to eat during all of this. Snacking throughout. In fact, it wouldn't be difficult to find her with a piece of fruit or sandwich in hand. The only thing she seemed to be neglecting, in fact, would be her own preparations for the upcoming event. Her dress in a bag in the back of a designated "staff room", shoes and makeup/hair bag on the adjacent shelf, seemingly forgotten until the last minute.

II - HOTEL LOBBY

[Despite this, at half six, the young girl will be seen in the Hotel Lobby, dressed in a cute, modest pink dress, completely with flowers adorning her usual hairstyle and the lightest traces of makeup on her face. She looks pleased with herself, though anyone who knows her well enough would be able to read the expression more as one of pure relief.]

[As guests begin to arrive, she'll settle down and transition from the role of host to that of a fellow prom attendee. Smiling at any familiar face who approaches. Maybe recommending one of the hors d'oeuvre being passed around.]

III - PROM PHOTOS

[For the first and last hours of the night, Hikari will be on hand to take anyone's Official Prom photo who requests. Any special prints will have to be custom ordered, but a single digital copy will be available complimentary to all.]

[Of course, Hikari herself notably remains behind the camera, not in front of it...unless someone can convince her otherwise.]

IV - EATING/DRINKING

[Running an entire prom can leave a girl with a big appetite.]

[Perhaps not as large as her brother's...or her digimon's...but there would be a healthy portion of food found on her plate later in the evening as she took a rest break, sitting herself at one of the several open tables. She seems to have sampled a bit of everything, including a second plate devoted entirely for sweets.]

[Most notably, she opted for water instead of any punch.]

V - DANCE FLOOR

[Ever the introverted walflower, Hikari happily watches the crowds on the dance floor from the sidelines. Content to celebrate the evening vicariously through them...unless someone comes up and invites her for a dance.]

1 - Setup / Before stage

Rose has her giant (it's normal sized, but she's tiny in comparison) bass guitar slung on the shoulders over the back of her dress, but in spite of herself, can't help but stopping and whispering in awe, "Oh wow..." She's rocketed herself through the multiverse, seen black holes, demons, and gods, but still. THIS? This is gorgeous. And it's not even done yet! So even if she looks like a country bumpkin, out of time, out of place, she's still happily tingling in awe of it all.

1 - Setup / ON Stage

Rose gets her axe (bass) out and with a wolfish grin jokes to anyone who'll listen, "Woops, looks like I brought my axe to a laser fight." Get it? Get it? Nah, you had to be there. BUT IT'S FUNNY, SHUT UP!


V - For the most part, Rose is on stage for all of it, back-up bass, back-up singer, except when appropriate or necessary for her to take over, and for all her mopes lately, even the Doctor would have trouble seeing it through the show persona she happily falls into instead.

Between sets, she grabs a drink -- non-alcoholic! The last thing she needs is to embarrass herself on stage or right after again!! -- and grins at anyone nearby, clearly hoping for conversation before back to "work." She lives for the Beatles (who doesn't?!) but at "I Can't Help Falling In Love With You," she completely gives up trying to hide her face, and turns her back so she's facing the curtain. She's fine.


VI - Most of her friends are Chaperones rather than students, of course, so Rose sneaks up on them when they're not suspecting it and covers their eyes from behind with a quiet, "Having fun?" They better be!


VII - WHEW. After it's done, last song, CLOSING TIME, Rose just wants to get home and kick off her heels. Next time, no matter how formal the wear, she's totally pulling a Fluffy and wearing trainers no matter what! Still, she's happy. A lot more than when she came in, and anyone glancing her way will get a reassuring smile. Even the Professor. Maybe. Probably.

☘ SETUP

[ Era arrives to help with some of the set-up mid afternoon. She can carry surprisingly heavy things if need be, and has an eye for aesthetic appeal, but is too short to really help with any of the decorating. Instead she lingers around the sound stage, vaguely familiar with some of the more modern technology like amps, electric guitars, and microphones, and makes herself available to anyone who may need an extra hand. ]

☘ HOTEL LOBBY

[ Knowing very few people doesn't bother Era as much as it might because this is something she's been through numerous times in the past. In Xistentia she made dear friends from striking up small conversations with strangers at social events. She isn't the greatest at vocal conversation - speaking more than a couple sentences at a time for extended periods is not something she enjoys unless it's scholarly discussion, at which point she will push her voice further than she might otherwise.

But she's alone in Genessia. While she has found a companion in Hanzo and Sertoria, and has begun to offer casual mentorship to at least one young warrior, it is a far cry from the numerous allies she made for herself both back home and in Xistentia. She misses the comradery and sense of safety she had, and she'll only have herself to blame for it if she doesn't do her best to socialize at this event.

So Era keeps an eye out for those who may be nearer to her own age or older (around their mid-twenties and above), tentatively introducing herself to the ones whose eyes don't linger for too long on her horns or tail. ]

☘ EATING/DRINKING

[ Food is something Era can get behind, and though she could probably devour the entirety of what's laid out before her she also has self-control and respect for others. Still, she can be found frequenting the buffet, eating halves of sandwiches and plates of pasta at regular intervals. She burns through a lot of aether on a daily basis and food is one of the best ways to replenish it.

She doesn't keep a close eye on the drinks, but that's more because she avoids them entirely. Too many times has she encountered poisoned beverages and so now she simply supplies her own. There is a glass flask of ... something colourful that she pulls out of a pocket that shouldn't fit something so large, sipping at it every now and then between bites. ]

☘ DANCE FLOOR

[ When not on stage playing her violin she can be found on the dance floor. Part of the reason she made her dress the length it was was that it would make it easier to dance without interference or worry she might step on her skirts.

Modern dance is something Era hasn't quite yet grasped, though not for lack of trying - her main dance partner over the past year has been Aymeric, and as an Ishgardian noble of high military rank he's more comfortable with a ballroom style of dance. Era has been teaching him other styles - things of a faster pace - but there has always been so much else to do and not enough time to do it all.

Gender of partner doesn't matter to Era (dance is dance is dance) and neither does height (she is 4'8" and her husband is 6'8", so she's quite accustomed to tall partners). She may not be the most exuberant conversationalist but Era is always happy to share the freeing joy of dance with anyone and everyone, offering her hand to wallflowers who look like they could use a bit of fun. If refused she kicks up no fuss - just smiles and continues on her way. There are people who just don't like dancing for various reasons, or don't feel comfortable dancing with strangers, and Era understands that.

Era dances alone as much as she seeks out others to dance with, and is always ready to shift her movements to accommodate someone stepping in to join her. Just make sure to keep your hands at her waist and no lower and you'll have no problems. ]

☘ CHAPERONE

[ While not an official chaperone of any sort, Era does feel a sense of responsibility to safeguard the younger partygoers. She lets them do as they like, ignoring anything that she doesn't deem a dangerous activity. If a teenager goes for alcohol she doesn't bat an eye (in Eorzea it's not a forbidden thing), or if perhaps a couple gets too handsy she doesn't intervene (unless one party is clearly disinterested).

Era is a warrior; a protector. What she keeps alert for is anything that may threaten the safety of those enjoying themselves. ]

[A special occasion deserves a special commemorative photo, right? On one hand, Anastasia would like to get one, but at the same time, she wonders if that's truly a wise idea. She'll stay close by, but she'll need to talk it over with someone.]

[Though she tries to be social, once she is actually out in large crowds, Anastasia tends to shy away. She can be found sitting on one of many chairs along the edge of the dance floor, a cup of fruit punch in her hands. Her not!date seems to left her, a good time to talk to her or even ask her for a dance until her not!date returns.]

A. Pre-Party

[Ted--would you believe he never attended charm school?--endeavored to be the perfect gentleman for his date tonight, opening doors ahead of time, and so on. The two of them made a couple with classic appeal, bringing to mind the phrase "opposites attract." Ted was all smiles, with a white rose for his boutonniere. His date, as always, was likely frowning with her eternal solemnity and no-nonsense demeanor. Satsuki, nicknamed "Star" by yours truly, had taken it upon herself to dress him in a handsome black tuxedo. Only obedient, deferential love could allow it, fond as he is of colors and not their antipodes. Still, Satsuki is, to put it mildly, knowledgeable about clothes, and tailored it to bring out his best features.]

[Ted, lover of novelties that he is, is only too happy to be sharing such a new experience with his years-long benefactor. It's why, amidst the small talk and frothy socializing, he takes the opportunity to boast to any who will listen.]

She looks stunning, doesn't she? Don't we complement well?

B. Dance Floor

Haha, goodness, Star, cast your gaze towards the ceiling. It's almost too thematically appropriate, eh? Just your thing.

[He refers, of course, to the prom's theme: "Dancing in (with?) the Starlight." Don't mind if he does! It's no secret that dancing is very much his thing; in fact, this is what he's been looking forward to most of all. They'd sunk plenty of hours into fencing, but now came the time for a very different kind of footwork.]

How about we start with a waltz, and work our way from there?

[Sorry, Satsuki; partner dances necessitate getting hands-on. If his partner will let him, he'll give her a break to pluck some of the other flowers off the wall for dances too. What a gentleman.]

[Now that the day of prom is here, Satou feels silly and out of place. She has a little black cat purse on her with loads of Attleton paperwork stored inside, just in case this was all a mistake. Whenever someone she recognizes comes by, she gives a cheery wave and greeting. Just keeping smiling! No one will guess that you're getting nervous!]

B. Lobby / Now with flirting
[As the night wears on, Satou's empathy will eventually kick in. Surrounded by so many lovebirds, she begins soaking up romantic vibes... and then mistaking them for her having random crushes. You might notice her staring at you with a dreamy expression... or, inevitably, beginning to give dove eyes to a flower arrangement.]

Haaah. Nothing can make the beauty of flowers...! If only we could get married. [Please. Help her.]

C. Dance Floor
[She was really hyped about this too...! But as soon as Satou realizes that this isn't classical ballroom dancing, she's a bit bummed.]

Ah... right. Modern... [She sighs.] I guess no one here knows any ballroom dances anyway... Only weirdos like me learn that stuff, huh?

[Wearing an outfit almost like her Ultimate Madoka garbs, Madoka arrives at the prom alone. She intends to meet up with Sayaka and Mami later, but for now she's hoping to scout out the party on her own. With her soul gem in ring form, Madoka pulls together some courage and takes her first step.]

A. EATING AND DRINKING, OBVIOUSLY.

So much food...! [Her priorities are straight. Having made a beeline to the food, Madoka is quick to grab a plate... but then just stares at the options.] I need a plan..! If I'm going to try everything, I need to really take this seriously.

B. Lobby

[Madoka will retreat to the lobby with her plate of food and find a place to sit and eat... Yup! This is Madoka Kaname's first prom, ladies and gentleman: Eating.

She does occasionally glance at the dance hall, but she's far too embarrassed to even look in. Sometimes, like the old lady she can be, she leans back in the chair with her cup of punch... Taking a long sip, and then sighing.]

I never thought I'd get to do something like this... I'm so lucky.

[Dhaos has his reasons to be here, and it is not to get cozy with humans.

When he arrives, he is a tall drink of water in a white tuxedo with a gold trim, with a Derris Emblem in place of a corsage. This is when he spots a lone girl. Looks like his next round of observations will begin in earnest.]

Excuse me and good evening, young lady. May I trouble to for a dance?

II. Hotel Lobby
[This was silly. She was an adult and while she's never been to a "prom" before herself, she did attempt to throw the Christmas Ball way back. Even so, she didn't get many chances to dress up and just have a night to herself, so why not just do it? Not to mention the fact that Sertoria would have dragged her with, anyways.

So there she was just waiting around for a bit. She didn't arrive with Sertoria (since she dragged Soldier: 76 with her), but she was just mingling for a little while with people she might know. Wearing a long, pale pink dress with hints of gold, she also had her hair down in curls for a change. It was easier to put her hair up on most days to get it out of the way, but she figured that it was a special occasion. She didn't have much for accessories beyond some earrings to go with her shoes to pull out some of the gold from her dress.

She'd love to talk to people she knows, but otherwise she'll be mingling with people or just waiting on her date.]

IV. Eating/Drinking
[Look, at some point of the night, she's bound to get hungry. She might even crack open a cold one with the boys considering how this night might go, but for now, she's playing by ear. When she's not busy with her date and maybe people she knows, you might find her checking out what food they have or the bar. Good thing she's definitely legal age to drink.]

V. Dance Floor
[While she'll probably spend most of her time with her date, she does like to have a bit of fun with some of her friends that may be going as well. Slow dances are more than likely reserved, but dancing for the heck of it? Why not? Otherwise, she'll just be hanging out by the tables in between dance breaks or just relaxing.]

VII. Closed to Jack
[She's all for spending time with friends -- and she will -- but more than that... One of her best friends just arrived about a week ago and she was more keen on spending time with him. After all, just finding out someone you cared for and thought was dead turning out to be alive this entire time... That kind of revelation made you want to focus on them now that they're here.

Besides, do you know how hard it was to get him to agree to come with her? If he wasn't here, she might not have gone or if she did, she'd go alone or with Sertoria. She even had the extra money and made sure to get him something to wear, besides his normal attire; She's at least allowing him to keep his visor on. Personally she'd like it if he didn't wear it, but really... She knew -- to some extent -- the life he was living these days and that he was in hiding so to speak. As much as it bothered her, she wouldn't force him to go without it if he didn't want to. She'd keep her word to keep his real identity secret. If nothing else, she just wanted to spend time with him, so she could at least manage that much.

So there she was waiting for him to show up. She was just... hoping that he wouldn't flake out on her and stand her up. Maybe it was silly, but the thought of asking him to something like prom and then the fear of being stood up was a real concern of hers. That was something a teenager would worry about, but there may have been more behind it than just simply wanting him to get out. This date meant something to her, though she wasn't sure if he'd feel the same.]

VII.

[ Jack would have preferred to not be at prom at all. He'd gone when he was in high school. Took his sweetheart at the time, perfect couple, everything that was talk of the small Indiana town. Until the boy scout ran off to the military. It felt more and more like Genessia was trying to force him to be Jack Morrison again, when he was anyone but that man.

He only showed up because Angela insisted. Angela was the one keeping the roof over his head at the moment. So, those manners he was raised with echoed in his head as he put on the tux that she left him. Hopefully she wouldn't want to stay late and he'd go back to sulking on her covered porch, trying to figure out what to do next.

Jack quietly stepped up beside her. The visor was still on his face, but, dressed for the occasion. It'd been six years since he stood in any kind of fancy dress. The dress blues had been put to he back of the closet like everything else. ]

Last I knew, prom was something teenagers went to in high school.

II. Hotel Lobby
[Futaba was so bad at this... Why did she agree to come again? Oh, right... Because Mimi basically begged her to come when she was still here and she gave into it. Sure, with Mimi gone now, she could have just as easily said, "the hell with it, I'm not going", but it didn't feel right. She gave Mimi her word to be there and now that she was gone? She felt like she had to come, no matter what. Of course.... it didn't feel the same without here here though. So there she was, awkwardly waiting in the lobby for Seth.

Thankfully Ann helped her find a dress and stuff to go with it, but man did it feel weird to wear one... At least she -- herself -- thought the dress looks good on her compared to the other dresses, but she also felt a bit strange. God she was going to really appreciate having Ann here as back up if she needed it. This was also the first time that Futaba had ever had her hair done so nicely compared to maybe putting it up in a pony tail every blue moon. Ann also insisted that she should at least do her makeup since it was a special occasion, so she left that up to her. She had no idea how to put makeup on and honestly? She'd never actually tried to apply it before tonight. If anything could be said, it was that beyond wearing a dress and makeup for a change, how could anyone walk in these heels?! It was... yet again... another thing that Ann helped her with and she had the hang of it, but man was she going to be glad to have them off by the end of the night.

Anyone can find her hanging out awkwardly in the corner or near the wall if they'd like to go and mingle with her. Otherwise, she'll be choosing the least populated area to wait, maybe playing on her phone.]

IV. Eating/Drinking
[The punch bowl and food was probably her favorite place for her in these situations. She could awkwardly hang out -- almost -- by herself while watching the others dance and mingle. Please pull her away from the little sandwiches...]

V. Dance Floor
[She knew she was going to have to do it eventually, but that dance floor looked.... intimidating.... Unless one of her friends or Seth dragged her out there, she'll just do what she does best during this event and wall flower. Too bad she has no idea that wall flowering has the opposite effect sometimes and causes her to be more noticeable than before.]

VII. Closed to Seth
[When she isn't lingering to one of her friends, she'll be following Seth around like a lost duck. Too bad she's out of her element here. Hacking was easy. Finding information? Child's play. Being a normal teenager with a boyfriend? That shit was tough.

There was nothing against Seth, obviously, but she'll just be anxiously waiting for him (if they didn't arrive together already).]

V.

[ Era tends to respect the wallflowers of the party, though she still goes out of her way to ask if any would like to dance whenever she has the opportunity. She spies a beautiful emerald green dress on a young woman not too much taller than herself (at least when accounting for their heels) who looks somewhat uncomfortable, as though the dance floor might rise up and swallow her whole. It makes Era hesitate before offering her her hand, wondering if her visibly non-human traits might discomfort her further.

Still, there's not much Era can do if she is bothered by a friendly Au Ra. If her offer is rejected it won't phase her - she'll just do as she always does and continue on. ]

I - Setup
[Takeru knew how much this had meant to not only Mimi who was no longer here but Hikari as well, so the young man had put it upon himself to try his best to help out in whatever way he could. Making sure things were in the correct places the decorations were perfect and the food closer to the time was in the right places.

[Takeru had spent some of the night mingling with people when not staying close to his girlfriend, making sure that she also was having a good time and not overworking. But sometimes even the young man needed a break and now was that time.

Walking over to the food table, he was looking over the various foods and trying to figure out what he should have. After all his stomach was telling him he should really.]

I wonder what I should try first? [He was pondering it over, not noticing that there was anyone even close by.]

V - Dance Floor
[Takeru looked around, he knew what he was going to do and it was to make sure people had a good time and dancing was one of those ways to do it. Plus it puts his dance lessons to good use when not dancing with Hikari. Walking over to anyone who happens to be by themselves he extends out a hand with a smile upon his face.]

[Ann's never been to a prom before but she knows it's an occasion to go all-out. Which is tough, on her current salary, but she still manages to find a dress which is elegant but understated and within her budget. She's left her hair down for a change, dotted with hair gems positioned to catch the light and matching the sparkle to her shoes. It's all a little more dressy than she'd wear day-to-day but she also doesn't seem uneasy all dressed up.]

II. Lobby

[Though she doesn't have a date, Ann hasn't arrived solo - rather, she's arranged to arrive with her friends from home, though she's aware Futaba at least may be meeting up with her date first.

That isn't to say she's planning to shun all other company, of course. But it's her close friends that are with her when she steps through into the lobby, and she can't help but pause in her stride as she takes in the grandeur of the place. It almost reminds her of the Phantom Thieves' very first celebration, though she feels a lot less out of place this time.]

Well, I guess I didn't have to worry about feeling over-dressed. This place is amazing.

III. Photos

[For the most part, Ann's been trying not to pay too much attention to her phone - but she can't resist checking out the photo area and snapping some selfies with the backdrop in view. Selfies she will attempt to drag her friends into, because she's not sure formal photos are a true reflection of who they are.

Which isn't to say she's opposed to taking some proper photos as well, if only because it's something to add to her portfolio and that can be no bad thing. She's at home in front of the camera, but only because she wants to be.

Anyone trying to sneak photos of her while she's posing for the official photographer will earn a glare and possibly a sharp word or three if they don't catch the hint.]

IV - Food and Drink

[At least to begin with, Ann tries to remember that she should be showing a degree of restraint in her food choices - healthy, and with as little mess as possible so she doesn't get anything on her dress. She needs to keep her energy up, but that doesn't mean she wants to look a mess while she does so.

Of course, this being Ann, she can't ignore the sweets table forever. And so there she can be found, plate in hand and an almost overwhelmed expression on her face.]

They all look so good. How do I even pick?

[For anyone who catches her after that little 'problem', her answer appears to be to cram as many of the smaller ones onto her plate as she can. She can always dance it off, and as the night wears on she's less worried about keeping her appearance completely perfect.]

V. Dance Floor

[While the band's playing, Ann spends more of her time watching than dancing. Not because she isn't enjoying, but she thinks it's more respectful to pay attention to the people who are giving up their time to entertain them.

Outside of that, she makes sure she dances with all of her friends at least once, if she's not just gathering them around her for a circle of dancing that may or may not see her slipping off her shoes because they're designed for looks over practicality.

That's not to say there aren't times where she can't be caught in a position for strangers to offer her a dance - though she'll make sure she isn't anywhere she can't spot if any trouble's brewing for her friends.]

[ Era is not part of the band, though she has been on stage with her violin at intervals throughout the night playing a variety of styles; Celtic-inspired jigs, classics, and more modern covers. She has no interest nor desire for attention or spotlight - she simply likes sharing her gift for music with others whenever she can. Era steps down to spend time on the dance floor during the more fast paced songs, spinning around and offering a hand in dance to anyone who seems in need of a partner and won't be bothered by her non-human traits.

For all that she comes across and joyous and carefree Era is still on constant guard. Those who pay attention might note that she prefers to linger near entrances and exits, and dance in spots that afford her rather short stature a broad enough view of the venue that Era doesn't feel cut off.

It's the red dress that catches her attention first, for she has a fondness for the colour despite her recent penchant toward wearing blues. The dress is enough of a draw that Era decides to offer the young woman her hand in askance for a dance. It's her left hand, notably adorned with both an engagement and a wedding ring. The heels she wears brings her closer to the girl's height, yet she still doesn't quite reach five foot in them. It's made for some admittedly very interesting dances. ]

Her first prom! She's very excited, proud of the red dress she had chosen with Yang's help. She'd saved for the dress ever since she first heard of the prom, after all, so it's a particular point of pride.

Having chosen to come stag along with Yang, Mikaela is determined to mingle. She keeps moving from one group to another to meet new people and have some small talk, trying to meet as many people as she can in the friendly atmosphere.

When she's not chatting to people, she is eager to dance - whether alone or with a partner.

You might easily be approached by her, with her just plain asking, "do you want to dance?" whether she knows you or not.

II. Lobby

[Never let it be said that Junko Enoshima doesn't know how to stand out. And she knows damn well, as she strides into the hotel lobby, that she's going to have eyes on her - from her dress tight enough to show off killer cleavage and only just long enough to cover her underwear, to her stilettos sharp enough to double as weapons and her hair styled to keep up with the rest of her look.

At least for the moment, she's playing nice and behaving herself - she'll talk to anyone who seems like they might be interesting and if she sits, she does so in a ladylike manner - though that's not to say she doesn't spare a knowing wink to anyone she catches watching her in expectation of otherwise.]

[Perhaps unsurprisingly, Junko's drawn more to the drinks than the food - partly because her outfit means she can't eat too much anyway, mostly because that's where there's the most chance for entertainment. Even if she can't get her hands on something strong to slip into the punch - and that's not to say she won't try to get her hands on the booze - there's still some fun she can have.

Her behaviour seems natural enough at all times. But if she picks up on someone who's not quite so sure on their feet, or who's balancing their food and drink in a rather precarious manner, she'll time her movements so that they're almost certain to bump into her.

Sure, bumping into them could also be fun. But not as much fun as making the collision be mostly their fault.]

V. Dance Floor

[No matter how busy or not the dance floor might be, Junko's not afraid to get on there and strut her stuff. She'll accept dances from pretty much anyone, though if she suspects they're getting a little handsy or are otherwise misbehaving they may get an "accidental" stiletto heel to the foot. Even if she might have been suggesting they were welcome to.

She also takes great delight in picking out people who seem to shy away, as if the dance floor might eat them - and then she'll head over, reaching to grab their wrists so she can drag them out anyway.]

[II. Hotel Lobby]

[It was no issue for Sayori to attend something like this; after all, she'd always been the type to be there for social gatherings and especially dances. She still had low self-confidence that she'd make it through one of these, but for her friends and her 'date', she would absolutely do this to the best of her ability.

Making her way into the lobby, her flowing pink dress made it easy to spot her, but difficult for her to sit down anywhere. Still, she stays all smiles and tries her best to greet everyone she comes across. As usual, despite everything, she knows how to give a very convincing smile. Now she just needs to wait on Natsuki to appear so she can see how pretty her dress is. Her friends were a large part of what gave her any sort of motivation to come here, but Natsuki was the peak of that -- she honestly can't imagine herself having come here without the courage the pink-haired girl gave her.

She's easy to approach and will talk to anyone who comes up.]

[III. Prom Photos]

[Why not? Photos were a huge part of prom and she definitely wanted to be a part of it. She will gladly pose with anyone, but she's really attempting to get Natsuki to pose with her for a picture.]

[She never really ate or drank a lot, but she had decided early on that she would try to keep hydrated and full so she wouldn't get tired too early. She doesn't want to end up going home too early, and she always did want to try some of this food in the past... what better time to do so than now?]

[Sayori wasn't much of a dancer. She... liked to watch other people. But she wouldn't be averse to dancing with anyone if asked, whether a fast or a slow dance. After all, she wants to be there for everyone else. Her friends were the most important thing to her.

[X. A Total Mess (At the end of the night)]

[Prom seemed to have gone well for everyone, including Sayori, but throughout it she couldn't help some intrusive thoughts entering her mind. Everything she'd done before hadn't been a problem for her in the past, but it seemed like tonight she couldn't get over the fact that there had to be at least one person that knew her smiles were fake. Who knew she wasn't okay. Natsuki obviously knew, but she didn't want to let others know, and she fought until the bitter end to keep a smile on her face.

All the way up to excusing herself from whatever situation she was in to go sit outside of the hotel, against the wall, knees bent up against her chest and her arms around her knees, trying hard not to cry. But the smile was definitely gone, and she tried to hide her face against her legs as she felt the tears come down. The intrusive thoughts were back, and they weren't leaving, and she just needed to be alone for a while. She couldn't get the conversations she had during the anonymous post she made out of her mind. She couldn't get certain other thoughts out of her mind, either. She needed to recharge, and get away from the people, but she didn't want to go home and worry Natsuki, either.

On top of that, she had positive thoughts she tried to avoid, too -- thoughts she'd never had but once before. Now, they were for Natsuki. But Natsuki deserved so, so much better than her. She could never find herself confessing those feelings. She didn't want to ruin Natsuki's life, being attached to someone like Sayori.

It wouldn't be hard to spot her, nor to hear the muffled sniffles coming from her.]

[ Era is doing her best to enjoy her time at the party when not on stage with her violin, and that involves doing her best to make sure others are enjoying themselves. After all, there is no better way to distract oneself from one's thoughts than by focusing on others.

There are more people lingering on the edges of the prom than Era would have expected. She doubt she'll be able to dance with them all, but she'll do what she can. It's a good way to familiarize herself with the other kidnapped residents of Genessia, after all.

The only worry she holds in her mind as she offers her hand in dance to someone new is that her non-human features may make them uncomfortable. Era is proud of her Auri traits - her ivory horns, intricately patterned scales, and her tail - but in her self-imposed mission to make as many people comfortable as she can... Well, they may not be the most helpful to her efforts.

Still, Era is the Warrior of Light. Warrior of Warriors. Brave, courageous, and accustomed to steeling herself for the worst. If someone has a problem with who and what she is then that does not make it hers as well.

She spots a girl with hair the colour of Cirina's and wearing a dress to match. Deciding that the young woman shall be the next person she asks, Era makes her way over to her and offers her left hand with a small smile. It's adorned with both an engagement and a wedding ring, and in the heels she wears Era's small stature might remind the girl of a certain friend she planned to spend the evening with. ]

[When Graverobber arrives he looks -- honestly, about the same as usual, though he is at least wearing a button-down shirt. Before prom starts, he's picking at the hor d'ouerves, stacking a tiny plate with as many as will fit.]

[Similar to the lobby, he stacks his plate with as much food as he can manage to fit, not seeming to care what's piled on top of what. He also slugs back as much of the alcohol provided as possible, though he doesn't seem to be drunk, just pleasantly, amiably buzzed.]

V - Dancing

[Graverobber's version of dancing is mostly standing off to the side bobbing his head in time with the music. That said, with the alcohol in his system, he's likely easier to persuade onto the floor than he normally would be.]

VII - Mingling

[Once most of the dancing has wound down, Graverobber's feeling chatty and still a little buzzed. He's talking up anybody who seems to be off to themselves, particularly if they, too, seem tipsy and in a friendly mood.]

[ Lioriley arrives a little later than she originally intended, if only because a few rowdy patients at the hospital left her tied up past her shift. She had gotten ready as fast as she could and beelined for the hotel, making it into the lobby a few minutes after the doors officially opened. There's a few people mingling about, but she can't see her date just yet.

He shouldn't be hard to miss, she thinks, he is a cyborg ninja with a glowing green visor. She pulls out her phone after a few minutes and sends a quick text: ]

[Even so, she can't help feeling a little awkward among the humans and their dancing. So she'll be on the dance floor, crawling in circles on all fours, while occasionally glancing up at the people around her.]

[She doesn’t arrive terribly early, but early enough to justify perching herself at the end of one of the reasonably comfortable couches in the lobby while she waits for the rest of her group to arrive. She’s certain most of them are coming… the others she just hopes to see later on.

Anyone can find her poised gracefully, legs crossed and stilettos gleaming under the
hem of her gown for the evening as she plays with the glittering jewels hanging around her neck.]

III. - PROM PHOTOS
[While she hasn’t jumped right into the line of the shot, Dove does hover near the Photo Booth, watching the groups as they come and go and mirroring the smiles they give. She can’t help it; everyone just looks like they’re ready for a good time, and those who don’t look that way… well… she can’t deny that it’s a little funny…

If anyone should want to take a photo with her, they need only ask! She's very used to the camera, and would be delighted with any of her friends as they arrive. ]

IV - EATING/DRINKING

[It's not too surprising to find her with a drink in her hand, though it's most certainly from the 10% not offered to over half the crowd. She can be seen hovering around the table, eyeing the snacks curiously and sampling a few here and there as she watches the younger crowd dance and waits for conversation.]

V. - DANCE FLOOR

[When she's not mingling with the adults and sipping at her drink or performing a few upbeat songs onstage... Dove is most definitely on the dance floor, or waiting near the edges for her next partner to approach. She's eager to oblige each one of them, be it an experienced performer or a nervous novice. She moves more than gracefully, and while she's happy to have someone to show off with, she's pleased to teach a few moves as well!

She's glowing- no, really glowing. This is her favorite part and she's definitely in her natural habitat, regardless of the kind of music!]

[Rika arrives at the party a touch later than she had planned. Though she did invite Haga to come with her, she almost got cold feet... Prom is something that older teens do. While Rika is 16 now, she's still uncomfortable in her new "teen" identity.

She eventually falls to her old wallflower tendencies. Sitting at a couch with a table in front of her, and a deck of cards spread out in front of her. With no one to play with her, Rika has laid out a game of solitaire... Maybe someone can come make it Go Fish? Or multiple people for Poker? ... Or an accidental game of 52 pick-up?

[Rika is a timid girl. Uncomfortable in her own teenage skin and extra anxious about being at this party... So she's struggling to reach the punch bowl. It could be as easy as asking someone to move out of the way, but Rika is wound-up. Will people here treat her as a kid? Is she ready to let go of her childish persona?? And why is that even though she's 16, her arm is too short to reach the punch bowl???

[Just gonna... watch... nervously. She wants to ask someone to dance with her, but who does she know well enough for that? Maybe it's time to pull out the genki cutie personality? Is that a "Furude Rika" thing to do? Geez. She wishes she knew how to function as a teenager.]

[Shi isn't here to stay! He tells himself that over and over again. What he is here for is taking notes! He's standing by the wall with a cute notebook, writing down notes with an equally cute pen. Some people who pass by will get stopped by the timid boy's questions:]

[A spirit boy is watching. Rather than eating anything, though, he's writing about the food in his notebook. There's no reason for him to eat anything himself, after all. Once again: He occasionally questions people:]

[Ada was just happy to sit on the sidelines for the moment, smiling happily as she watched them until she heard a voice to her left. Turning her head slightly, she found herself pausing for a moment.]

Um, well. I don't know prom per say but a lot of it is like the balls I went to back home. I can explain what people do at those. [She couldn't help but laugh slightly.] Sorry, I'm not much help.

I Setup:
Koishi arrived with Rose. For once she wasn't dressed in a formal kimono. Rather, she was wearing the little black dress Namur helped her pick out last year. It was velvety and stretched from her knees to her neck. the sleeves were black rose-patterned lace extending across the upper torso all the way up to the collar. Her hair had been done up and she was wearing a pair of silver earrings. To top it off her hat had been given a black ribbon that fluttered softly as she walked held in place by a blue rose. Finally, the look was accented with a pair of dress boots with a slight wedge heel, giving her some much needed height.

It was, in Namur's words at the time of purchase, a 'hotass dress.'

Being early though meant she didn't have much to do and she was easily bored. She moved from one part of the setup to another, mostly unnoticed, but not entirely. She would stay out of the way but her presence could certainly be felt at times.

II Lobby:
Eventually exiled to the lobby once her obnoxious behavior became too severe. She would mingle with the crowds and quietly observe for the most part. Moving from person to person, saying hello and possibly bumping into those who couldn't see her.

III Photos:
Koishi will undoubtedly get her photo taken with her sister. However, this is Koishi and anyone who knows her is aware of her love of shenanigans. If anyone wants a certain little youkai to sneak into a photo then that's totally fine.

IV Eating/Drinking:
And this is where Koishi would be spending most of the night. After visiting the bar and getting carded (thrice) Koishi finally had an appropriately bubbly and tall drink consisting of several kinds of alcohol and topped with punch. Beverage in hand she made her way over to the food table and slowly began working her way down it. If she had her way she would taste as many different things as possible and perhaps make off with something she really liked.

Of course she was pretty slow in making her way down the table. Anyone stopping her to talk will be ensuring that some dish remains around longer so more people can enjoy it. Catch her near the end of the table and she might be a bit tipsy once she's gone through enough drinks.

V Dancing:
Koishi isn't really an active participant generally when it comes to dancing. Not when she could people-watch more. And people-watch she did. Finding a nice wall to lean against, Koishi watched everyone having fun and simply soaked in the energy of the event.

She does know how to dance though. If anyone invites her she might just be willing to join in.

He came along because Tannusen had insisted, so Cassian is doing what all lonely, socially awkward losers do when they have to go to a public party with food: Hit the punch bowl and support the wall.

While he personally will not be spiking the punch, there's no missing the silver hip flask that keeps topping off his personal cup of punch, until the drink is probably more scotch than juice at this rate.

Look, if he has to be outside, talking to strangers, he needs to be as un-sober as possible.

It'd seem like Tannusen actually managed to get him out of the usual priestly uniform too, and while he does look pretty sharp in the frankly quite gothic getup, he'd look handsomer if he wasn't busy glaring at his drink like it'd personally offended him.]
