I - SETUP (12:00pm-5:00pm)

For any and all who agreed to help with the decorations, this would be the time to gather at the Hotel. A large list of assignments will be posted on the wall near the entrance, with duties including but not limited to:

1. Setting Tables, including placement of centerpieces
2. Wall and ceiling decorations, involving a lot of gossamer drapery and lights
3. Preparing the buffet table, with a mixture of hot and cold foods, as well as a separate table at the end for delectable deserts
4. Getting all necessary equipment on stage for the Live Band to perform.  Sound Checks may occur throughout.
5. A side dressing room area set up exclusively for those who volunteered to take the time to get ready themselves, including special hair and makeup stations and a large rack to hang their dresses & shoes to change into later

II - HOTEL LOBBY (6:30pm onward)

Cozy and luxurious in its own right, those who arrive before Prom is scheduled to begin will be allowed to lounge in the Hotel Lobby for a spell. Meeting and greeting other early birds and partaking in a select few hors d'oeuvre made available while waiting for the doors to open

 

III. - PROM PHOTOS!

In the far corner of the lobby, a cute backdrop will be set up, ready for any and all couples/groups/brave souls going stag for the evening to take a memorable photograph! Selfies are welcome throughout, but for those desiring a more professional setup, Hikari Yagami will be on hand for the first and last hours of the night for "official" Prom Photos.

IV - EATING/DRINKING

  

With a "bar" consisting of 90% nonalcoholic beverages--the remaining ten percent reserved for of age chaperones--and a buffet table spanning the length of the side wall, there will be no shortage of food options that night!  Hot pasta dishes, cold sandwiches, fruits, vegetable platters, and a special end section devoted to some of the best sweets Genessia's bakeries have to offer!

Of course, what prom would be complete without the traditional Fruit Bowl Punch?  Better get a sip in early, though...because some traditions never die, and it's not like those in charge can keep an eye on that bowl the entire night, can they?

V. - DANCE FLOOR

With a live band (Thank you, Professor!) ready to rock, you'll soon be dancing the night away, under ethereal decorations that will really make you feel like you're dancing among the stars!

In between sets, there will be a DJ spinning a mixture of slow dances, crowd favorites, and songs that'll really get the party rockin' (LMFAO style).

 

VI. - CHAPERONES

 

Because somebody's got to make sure the kids behave.

Hopefully actual adults who can behave themselves.

 

VII. - MINGLING/MISC.
 

What other shenanigans could the teens and tweens of Genessia possible get up to?  The night is young, and so are they~

Eheh... I'm kind of embarrassed. I talked about dancing with Sync because I'm good at ballroom dancing. Th-This sort of stuff if just going to make me look silly, ne...?

[She refers to the odd dances that are random and not in sync.]

I have heard of a few of these dances, but many just look and sound silly. I mean, what is "twerking?"

[God dammit. There are just somethings that cannot be avoided.]

I do admit, some dances done by boy bands are kind of cool... Have you seen any?

[Satou tilts her head. Isn't that the sound a bird would make?]

Hmm... Maybe they are? I never really paid attention to boy bands. [Though maybe she should? Ana seems to be really into them.] I wonder if it's fun?

I don't know either.

[She just finds it hard to ignore good-looking guys.]

This one boy band I like, called "Boys For Now," make their dances look fun. I don't know if I can pull it off, though.

It must take a lot of practice and discipline, ne..? Like magic or fighting...

I bet it would be fun! Maybe I should learn a boy band dance sometime~.

But, those are boy dances. And we're girls...

That's true... That means that when we do those dances, we'll make them 100% better. That's how girl power works, right?

Yes, that makes absolute sense. Think we have time to search for dances to learn?

[Poor Ana. So easily fooled. Plus, since they are already at the prom, it may be too late.]

Hmm... I don't know if there's time. But maybe after prom..?

[Girl power is Satou's motto, after all. She sincerely believes the dances will be cuter with girl dancers.]

Ah, that's right. How have you been doing? Having fun?

That's quite all right. We can learn them and try them at the next party.

Oh, I'm doing well. My date left to get something but he hasn't gotten back yet.

Next party...? Do these happen a lot..?

They don't happen often, but they do happen.

I predict the next Halloween and Christmas parties will have dancing. Well, I am absolutely certain they will have dancing.

[But those are so far away. If they come, it would mean celebrating Mikale's birthday without him. Satou blinks and then squishes her own cheeks.]

Sounds like fun. There's always something new happening here, huh?

Yeah... Something new, yet familiar.

There might also be some summer festivals too. Perhaps a Japanese festival, and a chance to wear my kimono again.

Ah, Japanese festivals? That would be fun.

I used to love going to festivals with my little sister. She was so good at the games, too. We always left with lots of fish.

Lots of fish?

I'm sorry. I've never been to a Japanese festival yet so I don't understand any of it. I've only been to a Japanese themed hoise party.

Eh, is that so? Well... There's a game where you can win goldfish. My little sister could win any game if there was a prize that she rrreally wanted.

I'm really bad at games, though. I'm too clumsy.
