I - SETUP (12:00pm-5:00pm)

For any and all who agreed to help with the decorations, this would be the time to gather at the Hotel. A large list of assignments will be posted on the wall near the entrance, with duties including but not limited to:

1. Setting Tables, including placement of centerpieces
2. Wall and ceiling decorations, involving a lot of gossamer drapery and lights
3. Preparing the buffet table, with a mixture of hot and cold foods, as well as a separate table at the end for delectable deserts
4. Getting all necessary equipment on stage for the Live Band to perform. Sound Checks may occur throughout.
5. A side dressing room area set up exclusively for those who volunteered to take the time to get ready themselves, including special hair and makeup stations and a large rack to hang their dresses & shoes to change into later

II - HOTEL LOBBY (6:30pm onward)

Cozy and luxurious in its own right, those who arrive before Prom is scheduled to begin will be allowed to lounge in the Hotel Lobby for a spell. Meeting and greeting other early birds and partaking in a select few hors d'oeuvre made available while waiting for the doors to open

III. - PROM PHOTOS!

In the far corner of the lobby, a cute backdrop will be set up, ready for any and all couples/groups/brave souls going stag for the evening to take a memorable photograph! Selfies are welcome throughout, but for those desiring a more professional setup, Hikari Yagami will be on hand for the first and last hours of the night for "official" Prom Photos.

IV - EATING/DRINKING

With a "bar" consisting of 90% nonalcoholic beverages--the remaining ten percent reserved for of age chaperones--and a buffet table spanning the length of the side wall, there will be no shortage of food options that night! Hot pasta dishes, cold sandwiches, fruits, vegetable platters, and a special end section devoted to some of the best sweets Genessia's bakeries have to offer!

Of course, what prom would be complete without the traditional Fruit Bowl Punch? Better get a sip in early, though...because some traditions never die, and it's not like those in charge can keep an eye on that bowl the entire night, can they?

V. - DANCE FLOOR

With a live band (Thank you, Professor!) ready to rock, you'll soon be dancing the night away, under ethereal decorations that will really make you feel like you're dancing among the stars!

In between sets, there will be a DJ spinning a mixture of slow dances, crowd favorites, and songs that'll really get the party rockin' (~~LMFAO style~~).

VI. - CHAPERONES

Because somebody's got to make sure the kids behave.

Hopefully actual adults who can behave themselves.

VII. - MINGLING/MISC.

What other shenanigans could the teens and tweens of Genessia possible get up to? The night is young, and so are they~

[Why are they whispering? Satou's answer to his question would be the same as his to hers.

She does note that he doesn't have any specific favorites. That's a bit strange, but some people just aren't that into food... Still. It's hard not to worry about the people you care about. Especially when you're Satou.]

Because if we name the best stuff out loud, someone might swipe it like a jerk. [She's joking. Probably.] Hm. In that case, we should try a lot of stuff. Time to divide and conquer.

[He is clearly being swept into her pace, despite telling himself that he wasn't going to. He's also fortunate that he's missed her concern; assuming this was just small talk.]

...You think so? [Which given how some of these other teens are acting, likely enough for him.] Okay, I'll start at the other end and build a plate, and you do the same from here, and then we should have enough to share.

Deal!

[Somehow, even just a simple trip to the food table has become a game. It's a bad, childish habit of hers. At lest it seems to be working out for the moment.]

Meet you back in the lobby with our plates, okay? I think there should be somewhere we can sit down while we eat.

Deal. Bet I can do it faster than you.

[Nothing like a little competition, right? Which makes Sync rush to the other end of the table, and now he's possibly about to start a fight soon as he is nudging people more urgently around them to collect his food, piling a plate dangerously high in short order, and also making a point to steal probably more of the finger sandwiches than he should, and he doesn't even know how they taste.]

You're on, Sync~!

[Though, Satou is far more timid... All is fair in war, so she does cheat by magically moving a few harder to reach items to her plate. Being short and short-armed is a handicap, but she won't let it cost her a victory!

She might also hesitate to keep an eye on Sync. Not out of mistrust, per say, but concern. It's begun occurring to her just how heavy the toll of being stuck in Genessia must be. The fact that apparently no one else invited him to prom is also haunting her.

After telling herself she's being a creep, Satou finishes balancing her plate and heads to the lobby.]

[He missed the cheating, though he wasn't playing entirely fair either since he was faster and more aggressive. With his plate balanced, he moves back to the lobby, finding a table and placing his plate down. Now it was time to see if he actually had finished before her or not.

Which this time it seemed he had, and he held up a hand for her, though he was sure that he would be hard to miss in a crowd.]

Sy~nc! Boo, you beat me!

[Despite that, Satou isn't the tiniest bit bitter. This is a fight that ends with eating, after all. She sets her own plate down next to him, grinning when she looks between their spoils.]

We did it! I think we really conquered the table. And it all looks so good~! [!] Finger sandwiches...!

What can I say? The wind was with me.

[Even if he loses reason, he might just leave the mask on at all times because it allows him to keep his composure better, and lets him steal a glance at that grin on her face without being obvious, other than the fact he's broken out into a small smile again, because her energy is just contagious. ]

I think so too. I almost feel bad for everyone else missing out, almost.

[Also legit there may not be any left so enjoy these so he doesn't feel ridiculous. He picks up one with a bit of green in the filling and starts eating.]

Cucumber... Well, it's not that bad.

[She giggles at his joke, reaching for one of the sandwiches at the same time. It's probably clear from the look on her face that Satou has a weird bias for these little things.]

Cucumber~! It's so yummy! Ehehe. Sandwiches are the best. [She looks up at him again, still beaming with happy energy.] We'll have to figure out what your favorite snack is. Do you like vegetables? Or meat? Fruit? Bread? [Guess who likes bread.]

[Is it Satou? Because it might be Satou. Her bias notwithstanding, he nods as he finishes the sandwich. A decent one. Looking over the plates, he grabs some fruit on a toothpick to nibble on.]

They're pretty good. Right now I'm liking this pineapple. I'm also not really somebody to say no to food.

[Since he is a teen boy and while he isn't much right now for favorite foods; he'll eat almost anything, gotten build them strong bones somehow.]

What's your favorite?

Pineapple~ Fresh fruit is always a good choice. It must take a lot of work to cut it into little pieces like this.

[She's also taking a pineapple piece, but Satou takes a moment to appreciate the cut. Her sense of empathy doesn't just make her fall in love with inanimate objects: She can sense emotional residue. Even the love and effort put into cutting pineapples, or making sandwiches.]

I liked sandwiches. They're like a whole meal, but you can hold it in your hands. That's better witchcraft than I can do-- [She pauses,] Don't tell Ted I joked about witchcraft.
