I - SETUP (12:00pm-5:00pm)

For any and all who agreed to help with the decorations, this would be the time to gather at the Hotel. A large list of assignments will be posted on the wall near the entrance, with duties including but not limited to:

1. Setting Tables, including placement of centerpieces
2. Wall and ceiling decorations, involving a lot of gossamer drapery and lights
3. Preparing the buffet table, with a mixture of hot and cold foods, as well as a separate table at the end for delectable deserts
4. Getting all necessary equipment on stage for the Live Band to perform.  Sound Checks may occur throughout.
5. A side dressing room area set up exclusively for those who volunteered to take the time to get ready themselves, including special hair and makeup stations and a large rack to hang their dresses & shoes to change into later

II - HOTEL LOBBY (6:30pm onward)

Cozy and luxurious in its own right, those who arrive before Prom is scheduled to begin will be allowed to lounge in the Hotel Lobby for a spell. Meeting and greeting other early birds and partaking in a select few hors d'oeuvre made available while waiting for the doors to open

 

III. - PROM PHOTOS!

In the far corner of the lobby, a cute backdrop will be set up, ready for any and all couples/groups/brave souls going stag for the evening to take a memorable photograph! Selfies are welcome throughout, but for those desiring a more professional setup, Hikari Yagami will be on hand for the first and last hours of the night for "official" Prom Photos.

IV - EATING/DRINKING

  

With a "bar" consisting of 90% nonalcoholic beverages--the remaining ten percent reserved for of age chaperones--and a buffet table spanning the length of the side wall, there will be no shortage of food options that night!  Hot pasta dishes, cold sandwiches, fruits, vegetable platters, and a special end section devoted to some of the best sweets Genessia's bakeries have to offer!

Of course, what prom would be complete without the traditional Fruit Bowl Punch?  Better get a sip in early, though...because some traditions never die, and it's not like those in charge can keep an eye on that bowl the entire night, can they?

V. - DANCE FLOOR

With a live band (Thank you, Professor!) ready to rock, you'll soon be dancing the night away, under ethereal decorations that will really make you feel like you're dancing among the stars!

In between sets, there will be a DJ spinning a mixture of slow dances, crowd favorites, and songs that'll really get the party rockin' (LMFAO style).

 

VI. - CHAPERONES

 

Because somebody's got to make sure the kids behave.

Hopefully actual adults who can behave themselves.

 

VII. - MINGLING/MISC.
 

What other shenanigans could the teens and tweens of Genessia possible get up to?  The night is young, and so are they~

[Prom was not something Winry had ever been to before. But she knew a friend was going and she knew that honestly, she needs to stop overworking because a few people she called friends were no longer here. She needed to do better like she said she was going to.

So the young woman without telling anyone had managed to buy herself a cute little basic number along with simple low heeled shoes and even managed to have her hair done up fancy. make up wise, she made sure to go with a simple eyeshadow and lip gloss that matched what she was wear but at the same time didn't stand out too much.]

II - Hotel Lobby
[Winry wandered the lobby, still very much unsure as to what to do. Maybe she should go and get something to eat? Maybe she should mingle, possibly make new friends. She could even just turn around and go home if she wanted to, but she knew that wasn't a good idea. So instead she chooses to wander around, looking over at people enjoying themselves and giving off a small smile as she did.

It was nice to see so many people happy.]

IV - Eating/Drinking
[The blond had managed to get herself some of the punch early on and was currently nursing it before taking a sip. She didn't know what to honestly expect really, but the flavours were admittedly rather nice. Not anything like she was expecting.

So taking another sip she started to look around at the variety of food, trying her best to figure out what the best thing to try first. When she wasn't sure she glanced over at the nearest person.]

V - Dance Floor
[Winry had decided that she would enjoy herself as much as she could, but dancing was not something she was comfortable with. She didn't even know where to begin with such a thing. So instead she decided to stick to the walls and instead watch the others and see if she can pick up anything.]

Strawberries...

[Eliot sighs sadly. He doesn't even realize he's standing next to Winry: He's too busy angsting over his inability to eat.]

The strawberries look really good...

[She hadn't processed the voice right off the back but after thirty seconds or so it slowly started to dawn on her.]

Ah, Elliot... Didn't know you were here.

[anamnestik]

Ah-- Winry!

[Eliot turns his head sharply, startled to recognize her voice.]

Mm... I didn't think I would come either, but Ms Rip insisted. Who did you come with? [Surely she got 9 million invites.]

Uh... Considering this was a very last second thing. I came by myself.

[She didn't mind coming by herself, she didn't feel pressured into needing to have someone to have a good time.]

Ms Rip is a friend of yours?

Then we both came alone, hm? I only came last minute myself.

[He would honestly rather be home and working on the archive.]

And, uh, she's... She's the one who said she would kill me if I was a bad vampire. [So, mother! Clearly.] Have you seen any other friends yet..?

Guess that is so, but your outfit seems rather... Not last minute in the style. Like it took time.

[But that could just be her. She did very basic stuff with herself after all in both clothes and hair. She paused at the mention of who they were and it was enough to cause her eyes to widen with surprise for a moment.]

She threatened to kill you?! That's very... [She paused briefly. Trying to find the right word.] Unusual. [She probably had a better word for it, but that was enough for now.]

As for friends not yet. I mean for all I know the rest could have gone home as well.

Do you really think so? Thank you~! I did my best to pull something together!

[He had bought an emergency suit, just in case Rip tried to force one on him. At least it would be something of his choosing and not hers.]

Unusual indeed. I'm used to it. [Don't get used to that.] I'm sure your friends are here. The party seems to have attracted a lot of attention!

[She found herself frowning slightly. She didn't think he should really get us to something like that. It wasn't right at least to her.]

You shouldn't be or get use to something like that. [She found herself sighing slightly, moving to put a hand on her head.] You really are something when it comes to people bossing you around. [After a moment and the subject was on something else, at least for now. She removes her hand from her head to look around.]

I'm sure, but right now I haven't really been here long to do much.

Ahaha... Well, that's what I live for. [Watch your wording there, Eliot. You make it sound like a kink.

Something that he realizes a moment later.]

I MEAN--- I-It's my reason for living! I'm here to serve. I'm just a Library, haha... [He turns his head, unable to look at her face anymore. Eliot doesn't want to see how much his friends here disapprove of the way he 'lives.' It makes it harder to keep focused.]

Well, you may want to visit the food display? Before it's all gone, I mean.

[That was certainly an interesting way to put it, even when he tries to change it, she still didn't think it was right. Arms were crossed over her chest and currently, she wasn't all that impressed.]

You're not just a library, you idiot. You're a friend to people and a person, you should live the way you want to and decide things yourself instead of being bossed around.

[And there was the annoyance in her voice. That was what was bothering her about the word choice. But it seemed like he was trying to move past that conversation and she let it for now.]

Then I will think about it too.

[Eliot maintains his new, false smile. Every time people describe that simple way of living, he is horribly tempted... But then realizes he doesn't know what choices he would make for himself. Probably bad ones, honestly. He's spent so much time crushing his hopes and dreams that he has none.]

But really. Free food is something to take advantage of. Have you been taking care of yourself? [He pulls back his sleeve, revealing a reminder he's apparently written in ink on his arm.] I seem to have been worrying about your health and work schedule.

[She sighed slightly. Even though she said what she said, she wondered if he would actually take it to heart or forget tomorrow. The latter kind of seemed likely all things considering. Made her wonder if she should just say it every time so it's always new.

But for the time being focus was now on the food and apparently herself.]

I have. I mean about as well as one can do with so many hours in a day.

If ever you need help, I'm only a phone call away.

[And also, apparently just popping up at her job to bring her lunches. That's something he does as 'grouchy Eliot,' so his ditzy personality isn't entirely aware of it happening. Fun Fact: Every time he switched personalities to worry about her, he probably lost some memories of home.

Eliot chuckles, turning his attention towards the food.]

There are some pretty cute desserts over there. This party must have been expensive to throw.

It must have been on the amount of food alone.

[She wondered how people can throw something this huge. It was impressive. She had seen gone on over to pick up a slice of some kind of cake, probably strawberry.]

I'm going with this.

[Ten is just going to have a blast - dancing like he has two left feet and not seeming to care whatever anyone else thinks. Considering, the tie around his head and the sunglasses being worn - indoors. And what is with those red sandshoes.

Then pauses and looks over at Winry and gives a wave and smile.

[Winry had no idea what was going on, for the most part, it was not exactly something she saw every day, so she looked puzzled before giving a small wave back. Didn't hurt to be polite.]

[Ten offers his hand to her in a gentleman like manner]

Care to dance?

If you don't mind ending up with sore feet, sure.

[Sure she had dances at least once during this whole thing, but she still wasn't fully confident in her dancing skills. After all, she had only ever really danced once.]

I can surely think of worse things to end up with.

[She was worried what could be worse by dancing of all things. Could it get worse than dead feet?]

[Which The Doctor tries to get Winry to follow a Basic Box Dance steps as one hand is at her waist and the other holding her hand.]

[He didn't answer the question. That just worried her even more. What could be worse than dead feet? But she was at least good at following instructions so set about putting her free hand on his shoulder and trying her best to focus.

The steps weren't that hard. Simple really. What was she worrying about?]

[ Winry may recognize the familiar face from the hospital. Lunafreya has found a lovely white and blue gown, but she has certainly not changed her hairstyle. Although a crest is near her collarbone of her dress, and may not be recognizable to those outside of her home. Still, the Oracle of Eos catches sight of Winry among the ground. If nothing else, it is polite to say hello to others, regardless of how close they might be.

She crosses the way to Winry with a bright smile on her face. Then, a polite bow is given. ]

Your dress suits you.

[This place was so huge, Winry was surprised that people had managed to put something like this together. Though the more she thought about it, maybe there were a load of people helping out.

That would make sense at least. The young woman soon found herself looking around, hands at her side and trying to figure out what the first thing she wanted to do. After all this type of thing wasn't in an area she was all that use to. Parties were not exactly something she went to often if at all.

When she soon heard a familiar voice from the hospital and it was enough to look over and found herself pausing. The dress was beautiful. Really detailed compared to her own, which had been something she picked up quickly.]

Thanks... It was very last minute though. [Compared to others here anyway. But she liked it.] Your dress is beautiful, so much detail in it and it really suits you really well.
