I - SETUP (12:00pm-5:00pm)

For any and all who agreed to help with the decorations, this would be the time to gather at the Hotel. A large list of assignments will be posted on the wall near the entrance, with duties including but not limited to:

1. Setting Tables, including placement of centerpieces
2. Wall and ceiling decorations, involving a lot of gossamer drapery and lights
3. Preparing the buffet table, with a mixture of hot and cold foods, as well as a separate table at the end for delectable deserts
4. Getting all necessary equipment on stage for the Live Band to perform.  Sound Checks may occur throughout.
5. A side dressing room area set up exclusively for those who volunteered to take the time to get ready themselves, including special hair and makeup stations and a large rack to hang their dresses & shoes to change into later

II - HOTEL LOBBY (6:30pm onward)

Cozy and luxurious in its own right, those who arrive before Prom is scheduled to begin will be allowed to lounge in the Hotel Lobby for a spell. Meeting and greeting other early birds and partaking in a select few hors d'oeuvre made available while waiting for the doors to open

 

III. - PROM PHOTOS!

In the far corner of the lobby, a cute backdrop will be set up, ready for any and all couples/groups/brave souls going stag for the evening to take a memorable photograph! Selfies are welcome throughout, but for those desiring a more professional setup, Hikari Yagami will be on hand for the first and last hours of the night for "official" Prom Photos.

IV - EATING/DRINKING

  

With a "bar" consisting of 90% nonalcoholic beverages--the remaining ten percent reserved for of age chaperones--and a buffet table spanning the length of the side wall, there will be no shortage of food options that night!  Hot pasta dishes, cold sandwiches, fruits, vegetable platters, and a special end section devoted to some of the best sweets Genessia's bakeries have to offer!

Of course, what prom would be complete without the traditional Fruit Bowl Punch?  Better get a sip in early, though...because some traditions never die, and it's not like those in charge can keep an eye on that bowl the entire night, can they?

V. - DANCE FLOOR

With a live band (Thank you, Professor!) ready to rock, you'll soon be dancing the night away, under ethereal decorations that will really make you feel like you're dancing among the stars!

In between sets, there will be a DJ spinning a mixture of slow dances, crowd favorites, and songs that'll really get the party rockin' (LMFAO style).

 

VI. - CHAPERONES

 

Because somebody's got to make sure the kids behave.

Hopefully actual adults who can behave themselves.

 

VII. - MINGLING/MISC.
 

What other shenanigans could the teens and tweens of Genessia possible get up to?  The night is young, and so are they~

Hotel Lobby
[Chiaki fidgeted with her dress having only got it last minute she wasn't sure how she really felt about wearing it. She even managed to do something basic with her hair and make up. Even her heels were small heels, but they matched with the dress regardless. After all, she couldn't walk in anything higher.

Chiaki had a reason for coming to the prom when she had decided not to before and that was just to check on a friend who said he was going. She was curious about who he was going with and seeing if he was making friends.

So she was keeping her distance, sitting down in a chair with a drink with a small plate of food and at one point when she wasn't sure where the said friend was she was focused on a handheld video game.]

Dance Floor
[When she was done spying, for the most part, Chiaki looked over at the dance floor, a small smile spreading across her lips. It was something she wanted to do and in all honesty, she was going to dance regardless.

As she made her way to the dance floor she looked around to see who might be a wallflower. If she spots one she will make her way over.]

Come on let's dance.

Hotel Lobby

[When Satou spots Chiaki, she literally hops with excitement. She was hoping to see her here, so this is a true treat!]

You came~!

[She giggles, walking over with a smile on her face.]

I was hoping I'd run into you here.

[She looked up slightly. She had just finished a level and had put it on pause for the time being. Once she was sure they were talking to her she went about putting the handheld into her purse bag that she brought to go with the dress.]

Ah, yes. Though you were hoping? How come?

[She seemed a little puzzled about the whole thing.]

You're my friend!

[Don't go feeling too honored: The bar is low.]

I was sort of worried at first that none of my friends would be here... Except Sync. I knew he'd come.

[She will feel honoured regardless. You can never really have too many friends.]

Ah, so your the one Sync was going with?

[Well that was always good to know really.]

I was surprised when he said he was coming here, you must be a really good friend.

Oh, you're a friend of Sync? You two should dance or something! [She feels bad for keeping him from a friend now.] I don't know if I'm a 'really good' friend, though...

I kinda... [blackmailed him?] Just met him recently. He was really nice to make sure I didn't end up alone here.

I'm his roommate as well, but yes I'm his friend.

[She shook her head slightly.]

It doesn't matter if you think your a good friend or not, even if you only just met. It's still a good thing to just have a friend for the both of you.

Roommate? Wonderful! I'm glad he doesn't going home to being alone.

[She giggles, smiling sincerely. It was a legitimate concern of hers.]

Are you the one who taught him to play that game?

No, I mean it's not nice to be alone sometimes. It's nice to have someone there.

[She paused for a moment before tilting her head. She wondered what game she might be on about.]

What game?

The virtual reality game! He taught me how to play. It was really amazing!

I was wondering if he played with friends, but now I know. He must play with you, right?

Ah, is it the one in the Holodeck?

As for who he plays with, it might not necessarily be me. It could be other people as well... I kind of hope so though.

I'll have to ask him, then! Sync is so nice. He deserves tons of friends.

[Satou giggles, adding brightly,] Maybe the three of us can take out a dungeon together sometime!

He deserves all the friends, even if he might think he doesn't.

[At least to her anyway. Somewhere in the world Sync ears may or may not be burning. Who knows really.]

Right, I actually know of a dungeon I have yet to do as well, but... it's a pretty tough one.
