I - SETUP (12:00pm-5:00pm)

For any and all who agreed to help with the decorations, this would be the time to gather at the Hotel. A large list of assignments will be posted on the wall near the entrance, with duties including but not limited to:

1. Setting Tables, including placement of centerpieces
2. Wall and ceiling decorations, involving a lot of gossamer drapery and lights
3. Preparing the buffet table, with a mixture of hot and cold foods, as well as a separate table at the end for delectable deserts
4. Getting all necessary equipment on stage for the Live Band to perform. Sound Checks may occur throughout.
5. A side dressing room area set up exclusively for those who volunteered to take the time to get ready themselves, including special hair and makeup stations and a large rack to hang their dresses & shoes to change into later

II - HOTEL LOBBY (6:30pm onward)

Cozy and luxurious in its own right, those who arrive before Prom is scheduled to begin will be allowed to lounge in the Hotel Lobby for a spell. Meeting and greeting other early birds and partaking in a select few hors d'oeuvre made available while waiting for the doors to open

III. - PROM PHOTOS!

In the far corner of the lobby, a cute backdrop will be set up, ready for any and all couples/groups/brave souls going stag for the evening to take a memorable photograph! Selfies are welcome throughout, but for those desiring a more professional setup, Hikari Yagami will be on hand for the first and last hours of the night for "official" Prom Photos.

IV - EATING/DRINKING

With a "bar" consisting of 90% nonalcoholic beverages--the remaining ten percent reserved for of age chaperones--and a buffet table spanning the length of the side wall, there will be no shortage of food options that night! Hot pasta dishes, cold sandwiches, fruits, vegetable platters, and a special end section devoted to some of the best sweets Genessia's bakeries have to offer!

Of course, what prom would be complete without the traditional Fruit Bowl Punch? Better get a sip in early, though...because some traditions never die, and it's not like those in charge can keep an eye on that bowl the entire night, can they?

V. - DANCE FLOOR

With a live band (Thank you, Professor!) ready to rock, you'll soon be dancing the night away, under ethereal decorations that will really make you feel like you're dancing among the stars!

In between sets, there will be a DJ spinning a mixture of slow dances, crowd favorites, and songs that'll really get the party rockin' (~~LMFAO style~~).

VI. - CHAPERONES

Because somebody's got to make sure the kids behave.

Hopefully actual adults who can behave themselves.

VII. - MINGLING/MISC.

What other shenanigans could the teens and tweens of Genessia possible get up to? The night is young, and so are they~

And naturally Remilia is wearing her own dress she bought for the occasion... and of course is quite content in the company of her girlfriend.

"Oh? I'll accept your challenge, Satori... And I bet I'll win."

First to enter, last to leave, perhaps? Remilia plans on staying as long as she can.

"We do make it quite obvious, ma belle," she replies, stealing a small kiss.

It was only right in her mind that she and Satori take their first dance together, more than happy to let Satori be as clingy as she likes.

"No one from back home would believe you can be sociable. All it took is a pretty, charismatic vampire like myself." Satori coming out of he shell in the first place helped, of course.

"I just might."

The happy couple didn't get far before an intercontinental ballistic Koiball impacted both of them, squishing them together. The happy babbling was accompanied by some cheek kisses and nuzzles.

Apparently Koishi was at the prom too.

"Hello Sis! Hello Miss Bats! I didn't know you were coming to the party. Sis is normally grumpy and likes to stay home. So i'm happy to see her here."

Her composure and pride instantly end up shattered all over the floor as Remi kisses her, taking her out of the moment. Her face struggles to stay stoic, while her third eye looks this way and that way, confused.

"...Exactly. I hope it'll stay that way, for both our sakes."

So much for cuddling and being sappy and emotional on a night like this, with her sister roaming about, however. She finds herself FAR too close to Remilia than she warranted as Koishi smacks into her, the elder sister finding herself once again completely mind-boggled by how Koishi (probably from the other end of the room) ended up there so quickly to greet them in her own special way...

That said, she couldn't be too angry. Just a little bothered, that's all.

"I'm...er, glad you feel that way, Koishi." Could she have said it in an any less honest-yet-unflattering way? "I came because Remi was going with me. If I'd have to have gone alone, I wouldn't have went in the first place..."

Remi would have a field day with a comment like that, she thinks, in hindsight. Welp, can't exactly take it back, now.

"Ah... Koishi?"

Remilia was a little bothered herself, but as for the sudden closeness to Satori is something she doesn't mind in the slightest...

"Oh? Well, I can hardly go to a prom without a pretty satori on my arm, now could I?"

"Yes! I am here!" She let the both go, twirling around. She had something in her hand- and it was shoved into Satori's mouth. A cookie.

"Eat this. It's delicious!" Not that Satori had much choice in the matter. "There are a lot of things to do here so you should make sure you do everything, okay?" She was beaming. "If I catch you not having fun I will be very cross, okay?"

And then to Remilia. "Don't forget. Sis likes round things and sweet ice and warm glows. So I'm trusting you to get that done, alright?"

She drifted up further, fixing her hat. "I'll be back later sis!" And just like that she was... gone?

Probably the shortest Koishi visit ever, though it was not without leaving a mark. Satori was absolutely covered in crumbs from the cookie.

Satori doesn't even have time to react to Remi's teasing before she has the cookie shoved into here mouth. She grabs the other end of it and takes one bite, chewing it down without much fanfare. She can't quite refuse Koishi offering her food, but breaks the remainder of it into smaller pieces.

"...It's good, Koishi. Where are they serving these--" And she's gone. Gods, that little sister of hers was quite a pain, at times. She dusts off the crumbs and chuckles a bit, under her breath. If anything, Koishi's at least meaning well and not interrupting without a good reason.

"She's happy for us, in her odd little way. I might bring a couple back to try, if you'd like." She offers part of the broken cookie to Remilia. "Here, Remi, You may as well have a taste."

She couldn't really pinpoint where Koishi ran off to, but presumably she's running around and bothering her other friends or causing some kind of silly mischief. If that made her happy, who's to stop her?

"More importantly, since we have my sister's blessing, I hope we'll enjoy the night in earnest."

The green haired girl was there for one moment, and before she could mentally catch up, she was gone the next.

"Oh? Then I'm glad." She'll take the offered cookie part and eat it because why not. "I'll need to ask Sakuya to make more of these."

Knowing Koishi, she won't be causing too much double. As for Satori, she nuzzles at her. "With the woman I love at my side, I think we shall."

"...I think I'd better learn the recipe, myself, if I can." Satori mused, a little interested in improving her range of cooking skills. "Koishi's fond of them, and I wouldn't mind sending a batch your way, if you'd be just as happy with it."

Her smile was sly and secretive at first, but it quickly blossomed into a very pleasant one, like a warm and happy little rose coming to open - there goes her writer's thoughts again.

She carefully nuzzles back into Remilia with a slightly softer expression, not really wanting to show too much of her vulnerable side when others were about. But not furtive enough to pretend she hadn't felt anything at all.

"...I have no doubt in my mind, Remi. How about we show ourselves around to the other guests. Our contest is still very much running, you know."

"Hmm... All right."

She would had kissed Satori, but she wasn't sure how much she'd blush or react in general out here in a public event.

"Of course. Parties are for socialising, after all."

Satori kept her other thoughts close to her chest, however. Her growing pride about having Remi at her side would likely last her through the night. A little showing of, a little frivolous fancy...tonight would be her one allowance.

Until the next time, Satori thought. Remi won't let one night slide.

"Who will we inflict ourselves upon first?"

"Hmm..." She will point at some random person, and lead Satori to them. "Now then, shall we?"
