I - SETUP (12:00pm-5:00pm)

For any and all who agreed to help with the decorations, this would be the time to gather at the Hotel. A large list of assignments will be posted on the wall near the entrance, with duties including but not limited to:

1. Setting Tables, including placement of centerpieces
2. Wall and ceiling decorations, involving a lot of gossamer drapery and lights
3. Preparing the buffet table, with a mixture of hot and cold foods, as well as a separate table at the end for delectable deserts
4. Getting all necessary equipment on stage for the Live Band to perform.  Sound Checks may occur throughout.
5. A side dressing room area set up exclusively for those who volunteered to take the time to get ready themselves, including special hair and makeup stations and a large rack to hang their dresses & shoes to change into later

II - HOTEL LOBBY (6:30pm onward)

Cozy and luxurious in its own right, those who arrive before Prom is scheduled to begin will be allowed to lounge in the Hotel Lobby for a spell. Meeting and greeting other early birds and partaking in a select few hors d'oeuvre made available while waiting for the doors to open

 

III. - PROM PHOTOS!

In the far corner of the lobby, a cute backdrop will be set up, ready for any and all couples/groups/brave souls going stag for the evening to take a memorable photograph! Selfies are welcome throughout, but for those desiring a more professional setup, Hikari Yagami will be on hand for the first and last hours of the night for "official" Prom Photos.

IV - EATING/DRINKING

  

With a "bar" consisting of 90% nonalcoholic beverages--the remaining ten percent reserved for of age chaperones--and a buffet table spanning the length of the side wall, there will be no shortage of food options that night!  Hot pasta dishes, cold sandwiches, fruits, vegetable platters, and a special end section devoted to some of the best sweets Genessia's bakeries have to offer!

Of course, what prom would be complete without the traditional Fruit Bowl Punch?  Better get a sip in early, though...because some traditions never die, and it's not like those in charge can keep an eye on that bowl the entire night, can they?

V. - DANCE FLOOR

With a live band (Thank you, Professor!) ready to rock, you'll soon be dancing the night away, under ethereal decorations that will really make you feel like you're dancing among the stars!

In between sets, there will be a DJ spinning a mixture of slow dances, crowd favorites, and songs that'll really get the party rockin' (LMFAO style).

 

VI. - CHAPERONES

 

Because somebody's got to make sure the kids behave.

Hopefully actual adults who can behave themselves.

 

VII. - MINGLING/MISC.
 

What other shenanigans could the teens and tweens of Genessia possible get up to?  The night is young, and so are they~

[Satou squeaks, embarrassed to have caused trouble. It doesn't even take her a minute to recognize Winry as Mustang's friend. Which kind of stings, given that the department is down one alchemist.]

Ah um... You're... Winry-san, right?

[She was surprised for a moment. She didn't actually expect someone to know her name like that. But it takes her a brief moment to regain her composer and nodded slightly.]

That is right. Though I didn't know my name was that well known.

Ahhh! I'm not a weirdo! You're important to my co-workers at Everglade's Police Station! [She bows. Satou still considers Mustang to be a co-worker.] I'm sorry to be so forward and creepy..!

Co-Workers?

[She paused, she really had to think about who they were. Off the top of her head she had known of at least two people who worked there, though one of them did work there before they left. She was pretty sure the other still worked there. But she couldn't be too sure as she hasn't been.]

I assume you meant Mustang, right? Before he left.

Until he puts in his resignation papers himself, he's still my co-worker. He had a desire to protect and serve Everglade, and that never disappeared.

[Satou is firm about his. For her own sake.]

Because of that, though! I hope we can maybe be friends?

Considering he isn't on the device anymore... I kind of doubt he can do such a thing.

[Plus if he were to come back, but decided to work elsewhere, she wondered if she would still consider them a co-worker. It was a question passing her mind that she wasn't planning on saying openly.

She managed to smile for a moment. She was cheering up a bit at least, the part seemed to be somewhat helping.]

I would like that.

[When Winry agrees to being befriended, Satou's smile melts with delight.]

Th-Then... From the beginning! My name is Satou Kuroneko. I work in Everglade as a Detective, and I'm an assistant Deputy in Attleton... Nice to meet you!

Oh wow... You must spend a lot of time having to travel between the two unless you do one job on certain days and another job on other days.

[She kept her smile firmly on her face.]

Nice to meet you as well.

Well, I definitely travel a lot! It's getting easier, and my magic makes it faster.

[She giggles, embarrassed by how much she works.]

I like being busy, honestly. The fact I'm not home to work hard bugs me, so I'm trying to work extra hard here!

[She wonders if it's different from alchemy. She also knew no one in her world would consider it as magic. So probably not.]

Just... don't overwork. This is something I am sure others would tell you too. [Should really do it herself.]

Yes~! I'm a witch!

[To demonstrate in a small space, Satou summons her staff in its more cute and harmless form. It appears in a flash of pink light and sparkles, just because she's a showy person.]

Thank you for worrying, but I'll be okay. This is actually really relaxing compared to back home. There aren't very many criminals around!

Oh wow. How does your magic do that?

[She was surprised. She wondered how it worked. If it was alchemy what was used in order to make it... But it didn't look like she did use anything as it seemed to come out of thin air.]

If you say so, but considering the newspaper stuff does still happen. Probably not as much as what goes on back home, I guess.

My magic is a shortcut. Anything that I can imagine and believe in, I can turn into a reality. So it's pretty easy to imagine myself being faster and stuff.

[She gives the wand a small twirl.]

The bounties are strange, huh? But it's still not horrible, compared to my home. I was really busy when I worked for the government. But here, I get days off!

So instead of going out and getting something you can believe in it and make it real instead?

[She was just checking.]

They are, but it shows us the world here can be cruel too. But I am glad you get days off at least. I am trying to take breaks when I need to here myself.
