I - SETUP (12:00pm-5:00pm)

For any and all who agreed to help with the decorations, this would be the time to gather at the Hotel. A large list of assignments will be posted on the wall near the entrance, with duties including but not limited to:

1. Setting Tables, including placement of centerpieces
2. Wall and ceiling decorations, involving a lot of gossamer drapery and lights
3. Preparing the buffet table, with a mixture of hot and cold foods, as well as a separate table at the end for delectable deserts
4. Getting all necessary equipment on stage for the Live Band to perform.  Sound Checks may occur throughout.
5. A side dressing room area set up exclusively for those who volunteered to take the time to get ready themselves, including special hair and makeup stations and a large rack to hang their dresses & shoes to change into later

II - HOTEL LOBBY (6:30pm onward)

Cozy and luxurious in its own right, those who arrive before Prom is scheduled to begin will be allowed to lounge in the Hotel Lobby for a spell. Meeting and greeting other early birds and partaking in a select few hors d'oeuvre made available while waiting for the doors to open

 

III. - PROM PHOTOS!

In the far corner of the lobby, a cute backdrop will be set up, ready for any and all couples/groups/brave souls going stag for the evening to take a memorable photograph! Selfies are welcome throughout, but for those desiring a more professional setup, Hikari Yagami will be on hand for the first and last hours of the night for "official" Prom Photos.

IV - EATING/DRINKING

  

With a "bar" consisting of 90% nonalcoholic beverages--the remaining ten percent reserved for of age chaperones--and a buffet table spanning the length of the side wall, there will be no shortage of food options that night!  Hot pasta dishes, cold sandwiches, fruits, vegetable platters, and a special end section devoted to some of the best sweets Genessia's bakeries have to offer!

Of course, what prom would be complete without the traditional Fruit Bowl Punch?  Better get a sip in early, though...because some traditions never die, and it's not like those in charge can keep an eye on that bowl the entire night, can they?

V. - DANCE FLOOR

With a live band (Thank you, Professor!) ready to rock, you'll soon be dancing the night away, under ethereal decorations that will really make you feel like you're dancing among the stars!

In between sets, there will be a DJ spinning a mixture of slow dances, crowd favorites, and songs that'll really get the party rockin' (LMFAO style).

 

VI. - CHAPERONES

 

Because somebody's got to make sure the kids behave.

Hopefully actual adults who can behave themselves.

 

VII. - MINGLING/MISC.
 

What other shenanigans could the teens and tweens of Genessia possible get up to?  The night is young, and so are they~

[He admits with a shrug.]

Seems like it. All of these people seem so silly, there's bound to be something to laugh at.

[ She kind of wished she could use her bunny phenomenon spell on something, and see if she can get people talking about more interesting subjects. ]

Catching up, huh? Are you curious about my efforts?

[ Now someone being interested in her, this is a little new. ]

Is it a problem if I am? You're a lot more interesting than anyone else right now.

[Though, Uai is trying to be cautious of being too nosy.]

Well, since you're bothering me instead of these boring lovebirds, I'll take it as a sign of your good taste and humor you.

[ Noah's face was at first a sort of condescending grin. But it faded to a more neutral expression, even turning slightly somber. ]

I wasn't always like this. As a matter of fact, when I was just a little younger, a scene like this would have made me excited.

[ There's at least a small part of her that's still curious, even. ]

But I was a guardian once. My job was to protect my small little island. And because I was the strongest, I believed I was the only one suited for it.

[Uai listens attentively, paying attention to the small ways that her expression shifts. He's been realizing there is much more to Noah than bunnies and being dead, but he isn't ready to press.]

I think the mortal me would have enjoyed this as well. But I had a date back then. I was one of "them." [He gestures to the couples, chuckling.]

Now I'm just a grouchy old man who doesn't want to be happy again.

[erinoah]

Mortal?

[ Now that was interesting. Technically, Noah was no longer mortal herself, but the way he said it held different implications. ]

Huh, not dying seems to have far more drawbacks then I've been led to believe. [ She grimaces. ] Irritating.

I've been led to believe that it's a person by person thing. My mother isn't mortal, but she would still enjoy this party.

[This poor attempt at comfort brought to you by: This Idiot. He doesn't actually want to ruin anyone's happiness.]

My problem isn't my mortality. It's my lover. [Or lack there of.]

[erinoah]

Oh.

[ Well of course she knew that. Noah huffed, she did not want to admit to be so easily led, regardless of his actual intent. ]

Maybe then, I should have found a lover before I came here. Having none means this is no fun.

And lovers aren't easily made, right?

[He has to restrain a giggle at her reaction. Not that he thinks poorly of her, but that he himself is being so transparent to her.]

You plan to stay here for a new life, right? Then you should have no shame in finding like-minded people to live that life with. [He shrugs.] My lover is waiting for me back home.

... and I wouldn't say it's an issue of 'easily made.' They just aren't 'easily found.'

Hm.

A love that's rarer than a bunny on my former island. And no crazy bunny club that would even be useful for searching.

[ There's some aggression to her voice now. ]

If Noah can find someone to put up with her, Noah would consider that a miracle.

If I could find someone, you should have no trouble.

[Though, Uai was a much different person back when he met Hana. He sometimes wonders if she will reject the person he's become.]

Regardless... Neither of us has a lover here now. Care to check out the snack table and rate the food together?

Nothing else to do.

[ She supposed that despite being a ghost, still having a sense of taste was a miracle that she would never let go of. It was why she ate so many carrots, to boot.

Speaking of, she wound up trying one of the sauces with her carrots. ]

Blech, these don't go well together.

[Her reaction makes him smirk with amusement.]

Maybe they’re better off raw? I’ve once heard it said that people who like sauce on their vegetables like the sauce more than the vegetable. You seem more like someone who just likes carrots.

[He would jokingly call her a rabbit if it was a joke.]

And nothing else to do... Unless you enjoy dancing? Or people watching, I suppose.

Hmph.

[ Noah doesn't even try to hide this. Rather, she plucks up a raw carrot and eats it. ]

Can't deny that. I'm a bunny.

[ Noah... doesn't know how to dance. But is she going to admit that? No. She gave a cross look. ]

Dancing is a waste of time. People watching should be alright.

[ubiquitously]

A very honest bunny. You're quite charming.

[He giggles. While he won't push too hard for dancing, he's amused by how quickly she denied it.]

I suppose. It's not as if I can dance with you myself. [Uai holds up his hands,] I'm too dangerous to touch.

But I'm down for people watching. Perhaps we can find a nice corner to watch from?

Dangerous even to a spirit... I applaud you for attempting to be less dangerous than Noah.

[ The dark magical bunny girl practically glides to a corner, a fine vantage point for looking at the wider crowds without being noticed. ]

I wonder if I'll spot someone who likes bunnies.

[ubiquitously]

I mean, if I was really trying then I'd just die. Clearly I don't have a very strong resolve to not hurt people.

[He joins her near the corner.]

How do you tell who likes bunnies? Are we looking for bunny accessories?

[erinoah]

It's the simplest way, yeah, but not the only way.

[ She might start looking for stuff like this, too. ]

Believe it or not, I didn't have to look for such subtle clues back at home.

[ The fact that she'd call things like that subtle might be interesting... ]

Really? Were bunnies a religion or something?

[He's half-heartedly looking for bunny accessories, but honestly? Uai doesn't think they'll see any at prom. Sorry, Noah. He's a non-believer.]

[erinoah]

I wouldn't call it that, but it was close enough. When I had attempted to return home from my current state, it was very easy and fun to stir the fanaticism that I remembered back in my heyday.

With no real means to lead them, though, it kinda got out of hand.

[ She peered off into the distance. Wait, was that person...? Nope, not a bunny. Sigh. ]
