GENESSIA PROM!
For any and all who agreed to help with the decorations, this would be the time to gather at the Hotel. A large list of assignments will be posted on the wall near the entrance, with duties including but not limited to:
1. Setting Tables, including placement of centerpieces
2. Wall and ceiling decorations, involving a lot of gossamer drapery and lights
3. Preparing the buffet table, with a mixture of hot and cold foods, as well as a separate table at the end for delectable deserts
4. Getting all necessary equipment on stage for the Live Band to perform. Sound Checks may occur throughout.
5. A side dressing room area set up exclusively for those who volunteered to take the time to get ready themselves, including special hair and makeup stations and a large rack to hang their dresses & shoes to change into later

II - HOTEL LOBBY (6:30pm onward)

Cozy and luxurious in its own right, those who arrive before Prom is scheduled to begin will be allowed to lounge in the Hotel Lobby for a spell. Meeting and greeting other early birds and partaking in a select few hors d'oeuvre made available while waiting for the doors to open
III. - PROM PHOTOS!

In the far corner of the lobby, a cute backdrop will be set up, ready for any and all couples/groups/brave souls going stag for the evening to take a memorable photograph! Selfies are welcome throughout, but for those desiring a more professional setup, Hikari Yagami will be on hand for the first and last hours of the night for "official" Prom Photos.
Smile, everyone!
IV - EATING/DRINKING

With a "bar" consisting of 90% nonalcoholic beverages--the remaining ten percent reserved for of age chaperones--and a buffet table spanning the length of the side wall, there will be no shortage of food options that night! Hot pasta dishes, cold sandwiches, fruits, vegetable platters, and a special end section devoted to some of the best sweets Genessia's bakeries have to offer!
Of course, what prom would be complete without the traditional Fruit Bowl Punch? Better get a sip in early, though...because some traditions never die, and it's not like those in charge can keep an eye on that bowl the entire night, can they?
V. - DANCE FLOOR

With a live band (Thank you, Professor!) ready to rock, you'll soon be dancing the night away, under ethereal decorations that will really make you feel like you're dancing among the stars!
In between sets, there will be a DJ spinning a mixture of slow dances, crowd favorites, and songs that'll really get the party rockin' (
VI. - CHAPERONES

Because somebody's got to make sure the kids behave.
Hopefully actual adults who can behave themselves.
VII. - MINGLING/MISC.
What other shenanigans could the teens and tweens of Genessia possible get up to? The night is young, and so are they~

[He'll whine. It's different.
Eliot takes her hand and follows along, noting the rhythm of the song. Though, he's more concerned with properly teaching her than keeping up.]
I'll lead us, if you'd like? Just listen to the music and you'll be fine.
no subject
[She isn't sure how that helps at all, so she looked a little puzzled but she at least is going to give it a try. She doesn't actually know what to do next anyway.]
Okay so I am listening, but what do I do with that?
no subject
[Eliot hums the rhythm for her as he guides her through the steps. Though he's trying to give her the chance to process what they're doing, he also hopes she'll find the 'groove' and some instinct.]
In this type of dancing, it's just you, me, and the music. Doesn't matter who else is here or what they're doing. I won't let you trip or fall.
no subject
Okay, so... Slowly thinking I am understanding. [She started to move in step, on a few occasions she may have accidentally stepped on one's toes, quickly going to apologize.]
Sorry...I hope your feet don't turn out sore by the end of the night.
no subject
It don't mind~! I bet this is making them stronger. [Does it work that way?
He moves to give Winry a careful, controlled twirl.] You seem to be catching on, though. Once you have the rhythm and pattern down, it comes easily, huh?
no subject
[Not that she would actually know the truth to that anyway. She nearly fell over at the twirl, mostly because she was surprised, but had been rather quick to regain her composer before carrying on.]
I guess. I mean still making mistakes but that is normal.
no subject
[His muscle memory can't be accidentally wiped away, apparently. Eliot continues to guide her through the dance, babying her less and less as he moves them into regular pacing. He does seem to be sincerely having fun, which is more uncommon than his constant smiling might suggest.]
Do you have dances in your home world? I've never heard you talk of home.
no subject
[She was at least glad she had managed to figure out the steps and didn't seem to need the help anymore, but she still let him lead regardless.]
I've never been to any. So I can't really say yes or no. Plus things are always going on that I wouldn't of had time to go to any, anyway.
no subject
[He doesn't say it with any malice, either. In fact, Eliot is speaking very simply and energetically. There may even be a rare, mischievous and perhaps devious note to his voice now. He's realized that Winry doesn't need his guidance.]
Are you ready to dance faster? I bet I can outlast you. [It's rare that he lets himself have fun. Eliot doesn't even realize he's beginning to lose his "good library" mask.]
no subject
[Though with the two she had been to, she admitted they were fun and interesting. She just was sad she was always alone at the beginning when a lot of others always went with people.]
You probably could, honestly. Not sure if I could go past a second song. But I am ready to try.
no subject
[Eliot himself is a busybody, though he doesn't always remember that. Working and memorizing material is all that he does with his life.
He takes her words as a challenge. Less to win, and more to see her get the maximum amount of enjoyment out of their dancing.]
Then he~re we go! Three, two~ [He's going to exhaust himself dancing, but it'll be worth it?? Maybe??? This busybody might actually sleep for once.]
no subject
Sorry, sorry. My mistake.
[She gave an apologetic smile before she tried to carry on, once again getting back to the way she had been before. That was much better.]
