GENESSIA PROM!

I - SETUP (12:00pm-5:00pm)

For any and all who agreed to help with the decorations, this would be the time to gather at the Hotel. A large list of assignments will be posted on the wall near the entrance, with duties including but not limited to:

1. Setting Tables, including placement of centerpieces
2. Wall and ceiling decorations, involving a lot of gossamer drapery and lights
3. Preparing the buffet table, with a mixture of hot and cold foods, as well as a separate table at the end for delectable deserts
4. Getting all necessary equipment on stage for the Live Band to perform. Sound Checks may occur throughout.
5. A side dressing room area set up exclusively for those who volunteered to take the time to get ready themselves, including special hair and makeup stations and a large rack to hang their dresses & shoes to change into later

II - HOTEL LOBBY (6:30pm onward)

Cozy and luxurious in its own right, those who arrive before Prom is scheduled to begin will be allowed to lounge in the Hotel Lobby for a spell. Meeting and greeting other early birds and partaking in a select few hors d'oeuvre made available while waiting for the doors to open

III. - PROM PHOTOS!

In the far corner of the lobby, a cute backdrop will be set up, ready for any and all couples/groups/brave souls going stag for the evening to take a memorable photograph! Selfies are welcome throughout, but for those desiring a more professional setup, Hikari Yagami will be on hand for the first and last hours of the night for "official" Prom Photos.

IV - EATING/DRINKING

With a "bar" consisting of 90% nonalcoholic beverages--the remaining ten percent reserved for of age chaperones--and a buffet table spanning the length of the side wall, there will be no shortage of food options that night! Hot pasta dishes, cold sandwiches, fruits, vegetable platters, and a special end section devoted to some of the best sweets Genessia's bakeries have to offer!

Of course, what prom would be complete without the traditional Fruit Bowl Punch? Better get a sip in early, though...because some traditions never die, and it's not like those in charge can keep an eye on that bowl the entire night, can they?

V. - DANCE FLOOR

With a live band (Thank you, Professor!) ready to rock, you'll soon be dancing the night away, under ethereal decorations that will really make you feel like you're dancing among the stars!

In between sets, there will be a DJ spinning a mixture of slow dances, crowd favorites, and songs that'll really get the party rockin' (~~LMFAO style~~).

VI. - CHAPERONES

Because somebody's got to make sure the kids behave.

Hopefully actual adults who can behave themselves.

VII. - MINGLING/MISC.

What other shenanigans could the teens and tweens of Genessia possible get up to? The night is young, and so are they~

[There's no way in hell Namur's taking serious pictures with Rip. He'll make her do goofy poses with him the entire time, though one or two might come out a bit sexier than intended. Bless that poor photographer.

Near to the end of the evening they can be found coming together once again for a dance. But though the tempo is upbeat, the slow intro put Namur in the mood for something slow and simple, little more than a long hug and a steady sway. So there he is, down on his knees and holding Rip close, dancing cheek to cheek. He hums happily, rubbing his gills against her soft skin.]

Been a damn good night, eh?

[Who needed serious pictures anyway? Rip was just happy to have a few pictures of them together no matter what they were doing, even if a few of them turned out sexier than intended. So by the end of the evening, she was ready to wander back to her shark for a little dancing to round out the night. Even with him down on his knees and holding her close as they swayed there, she found it perfect.]

A very damn good night. I can’t remember zhe last time I had a night like zhis.

[She smiled as she rubbed her cheek against him and closed her eyes for a moment. He wasn't the only one humming, though... after a few minutes, Rip might just be softly singing along with the song.]

[Even if he could somehow wipe the stupid grin off his face, Namur's not sure that he would. He wants to kiss her, but she had to go and start singing softly in his ear. So he nudges his nose up against her neck.]

Oughta do this more. Sing, I mean. Bet y'd outdo almost everbody. Still think y' might wanna do some singin' on the side? Or's Jolly Eddy's 'nuff for y' right now?

[Her voice trailed off as she thought about it. She did want to do a little singing on the side. Rip just wasn't sure how to go about doing so...]

I've been thinking about it. Even vith my vork at Jolly Eddy's, I zhink I could manage a little singing on zhe side...if I ever figure out how to go about doing zo.

[What could she say? Rip loved to sing just about as much as she loved hunting.]

Been wantin' t' start 'nother business. Some kinda lounge or somethin', y' could sing there! Leave Jolly Eddy's t' Sync. Y' could be my VP 'gain jus' like now. I'll be bouncin' the place on the downlow. Whaddy' think?

[Rip had to think about it for a moment or two. Working at Jolly Eddy's did keep her busy and did let her get out of the apartment. But, it was... hardly satisfying. She did it for something to do even if she did like a few of her coworkers.

After a few moments, Rip nodded with a slight smile.]

I zhink, it vould be vorth our vild to haf zomething zhat is more.. zhe both of us.

[Namur caresses her back and nibbles at her ear between breaths.]

Already been fillin' out some a the damn paperwork, cuz that shit takes ages t' get through.

[Then, because he actually does want to tell her more about it, he leans back a little.]

Thinkin' we oughta advertise in all the cities, try an' have shit all kinds can like. Hire up some Gatewalkers t' help folk pass through an' drive 'em from the gates riiiiight up t' the front door. Make it a place where everbody comes t'gether for a good time. Shit looks like a million red bills but everday folk can afford it. Can't pay, y' can work off yer tab. Problem is I ain't got a theme yet.

[Those little nibbles always make her melt against him~. In fact, they make it hard for her to focus for a few moments before what he says sinks in and she thinks about it. He's talking more than just a simple lounge...]

A theme to tie it all togezher vill be key..Ve may haf to brain storm togezher about it.

[She tilted her head to give him a few gentle nips.]

Ve vill also need bartenders...und vays to accomodate all zorts of feeding needs on top of entertainment zhat appeals to everyone. Or, at least enough talent to keep things rotating und fresh.

[She makes him shiver, makes his skin feel electric just under the surface. Namur grins, and rests his hand on her butt as they dance.]

Mm. Maybe put that damn talent agency t' good use. Sheheheh!

[He presses his mouth against her lips, enjoying the taste of her scent and the softness of her skin where they make contact.]

Did I ever say I'm glad yer here?

[Considering the way he made her relaxed and happy just by being near her, it's no wonder they had an electric affect on one another. Rip felt his mouth against her lips and smiled slightly knowing he was enjoying her just as much as she was enjoying his presence.]

A few times. Haf I ever said how lucky I am you vandered into my life vhen you did?

Sheheh.

[Like hell he's gonna stop kissing her. So he talks in the breaths between kisses]

Seems like shit's... a lot more intense this time 'round... Mmm... Cuz yer free a the Hellsing bitch? Or's somethin' else goin' on with y'..?

[Which works for her considering it meant they didn't have to stop kissing. Rip was enjoying the kissing.]

Freedom iz part of it.... and you offer me zhings I need.

[She pulls him into a longer kiss for a moment before pulling away to speak.]

I just didn't realize it before zhis vorld hop. Now.. I do.

[Namur runs the backs of his knuckles over her cheek as they kiss, slowly drawing them up into her hair behind her ear. He gives her a long look, intense and pleased and understanding all mingling together in his expression. But then he grins all the more and gives her a wink, then drops his hands so he can lead her into a series of turns and spins in front of him.]

Offerin' y' shit y' need, eh?

[He helps her pause and redirect her momentum, guiding her to spin the opposite direction.]

Guess yer talkin' 'bout a job.

[He drops her into a low dip, his hand sliding up her back to support her, and bending down so they're face to face.]

Or maybe some rum'n'blood? Sheheh!

[He pulls her out of the dip and leads her into another spin, only this time he doesn't let go of her fingertips, so his arm curls around her body. He pulls her right up against him, leaning his head over her shoulder from behind, and whispers huskily in her ear.]

Offerin' y' the best damn lay in five worlds an' countin'.

[Her ear gets a soft bite when he's done talking, his arms sliding down over her torso.]

But maybe them things ain't what y's talkin' 'bout, aye?

[That expression let Rip know he understood what she was getting at without her really having to say it. Not that she could really put it into words herself anyway. Namur just...gave her exactly what she needed by being himself and it was what was keeping her centered and sane for once.

Though once he started to lead her into various spins and turns, she laughed and couldn't help but smile from the dips and turns right up until she ended up pressed against him, her cheeks flushed as he finally whispered in her ear, sending a chill down her spine.]

You keep me coming back for more~.

[And that bite makes her melt against him and it's really not hard to figure out how much he was affecting her.]

All of zhose und much more.

[Holding her close, feeling her weight push against him as her limbs go weak, swaying like so much kelp in the surf- Namur's so caught up in the moment he doesn't care about anything else. Just the beat and the blue lights and Rip resplendent in the center of it all. He holds her tighter, bites at her ear a few more times, then whispers.]

I love y', Rip. Don't ever push me 'way. Even when I do dumb shit. Please.

[She stayed limp against him from each of those delightful bites to her ear and then tensed slightly as he whispered he loved her.. and once it fully settled in, she felt delighted. ]

I feel zhe same vay. Und zhe same goes for me.. please if I do something stupid, don't abandon me.

'M a lotta shitty things, babe, but a quitter ain't one a 'em.

[Namur turns her to face him and runs his hands up her back, then uses the threads of her shoulder necklace as a guide to trace his fingers around to the front, over her collarbone, then down toward her cleavage. He gives her a dirty grin.]

Now, there's jus' one more thing I gotta do t' make this night perfect.

[He holds her close, right up to his chest, then drops his finger down to the collar of her dress and tugs it a little, making a point to be as obvious as possible about looking. He waggles his eyebrows when he glances back up, meeting her eyes for a moment, then leans in to whisper against her ear.]

You.

[And neither was she. So, Rip had a feeling they were going to be together as long as they could manage as a couple. Though the way he was toying with her jewelry gave her a hint of what he might be thinking next.. and that dirty grin just confirmed it as he used it as an excuse to look down her dress.

Normally? She'd hit someone for that. Namur was one of the few people that could get away with doing something like this as she let out a soft chuckle as he pulled her close again and was not in the least bit surprised at that one more thing that might make this night perfect~.]

Zhen ve better make zhis a perfect night..Shall ve find a corner or head back to our apartment?

Hmmm well. We is both done up all fancy like. Let's get a room. One a them big fussy outfits with a jacuzzi right in it an' shit.

[Though he might already be gently gnawing at the corner of her jaw as he speaks.]

[With the way he was gently chewing on her jaw, Rip really didn't have the mind to disagree. To be fair though, what he said DID sound like fun.]

Zhen lets find us a room zhat suits our needs.. Zhen you can haf zhe pleasure of getting me out of zhis dress.
