I - SETUP (12:00pm-5:00pm)

For any and all who agreed to help with the decorations, this would be the time to gather at the Hotel. A large list of assignments will be posted on the wall near the entrance, with duties including but not limited to:

1. Setting Tables, including placement of centerpieces
2. Wall and ceiling decorations, involving a lot of gossamer drapery and lights
3. Preparing the buffet table, with a mixture of hot and cold foods, as well as a separate table at the end for delectable deserts
4. Getting all necessary equipment on stage for the Live Band to perform. Sound Checks may occur throughout.
5. A side dressing room area set up exclusively for those who volunteered to take the time to get ready themselves, including special hair and makeup stations and a large rack to hang their dresses & shoes to change into later

II - HOTEL LOBBY (6:30pm onward)

Cozy and luxurious in its own right, those who arrive before Prom is scheduled to begin will be allowed to lounge in the Hotel Lobby for a spell. Meeting and greeting other early birds and partaking in a select few hors d'oeuvre made available while waiting for the doors to open

III. - PROM PHOTOS!

In the far corner of the lobby, a cute backdrop will be set up, ready for any and all couples/groups/brave souls going stag for the evening to take a memorable photograph! Selfies are welcome throughout, but for those desiring a more professional setup, Hikari Yagami will be on hand for the first and last hours of the night for "official" Prom Photos.

IV - EATING/DRINKING

With a "bar" consisting of 90% nonalcoholic beverages--the remaining ten percent reserved for of age chaperones--and a buffet table spanning the length of the side wall, there will be no shortage of food options that night! Hot pasta dishes, cold sandwiches, fruits, vegetable platters, and a special end section devoted to some of the best sweets Genessia's bakeries have to offer!

Of course, what prom would be complete without the traditional Fruit Bowl Punch? Better get a sip in early, though...because some traditions never die, and it's not like those in charge can keep an eye on that bowl the entire night, can they?

V. - DANCE FLOOR

With a live band (Thank you, Professor!) ready to rock, you'll soon be dancing the night away, under ethereal decorations that will really make you feel like you're dancing among the stars!

In between sets, there will be a DJ spinning a mixture of slow dances, crowd favorites, and songs that'll really get the party rockin' (~~LMFAO style~~).

VI. - CHAPERONES

Because somebody's got to make sure the kids behave.

Hopefully actual adults who can behave themselves.

VII. - MINGLING/MISC.

What other shenanigans could the teens and tweens of Genessia possible get up to? The night is young, and so are they~

Jack kissed her back enjoying how normal doing so always felt to him. Rose and Gwen they were his constants the ones who never changed, his light and dark beauties. Without them he was damm sure he would have given up everything to this place to just not feel numb. "I couldn't do what I do without you Rose," he admitted, "I need someone to love or life just drags me down. My head is sometimes so full of memories it feels like too much too often. I need an anchor and that's you."

She gave him a wry grin at that, before tiptoeing up to give him an eskimo kiss, and leading him back into a slow dance. "Just wish I could do more, you know, yeah?"

Still, she gently squeezed one of his hands, resting her head against his chest. "Let's do more fun things here from here-on-out, yeah? Adventures. Dancin'. Anything. Just you and me, no Doctor, no one else, just forget about responsibility, one night a week, okay?"

A soft laugh and she tried to remember his speech to mimic it from when they danced on the invisible spaceship stationed by Big Ben. "It's a plane outside the known universes, there's a uni prom goin' on," because it wasn't as ludicrous or romantic as WW2 Big Ben during a German air raid, but given the sheer nonsense of their lives, it was actually more ridiculous in a way. Who would have ever expected a Time Agent and a dropout, two full-fledged Torchwood leaders to be doing something so normal? "And you, Captain Jack Harkness," she psychically whispered his true name, never going to say it out loud of course, too sacred. "Are dressed to kill, James Bond eat his heart out. And this time, when I'm done my set, I'm not riskin' gettin' in another fight over something stupid, so you and I can run away and grab champagne, yeah?" Brown eyes coyly lit up watching Jack's reaction, hoping to at least amuse him if nothing else.

Jack laughs warmly. "Rose Tyler," he purred as they danced, "are you trying to tempt me into running away from the party?" He feels a deep warmth settle over his heart at the reminder of their first meeting. "Because if you are I am totally on board. Let's grab a bottle and go find somewhere in the dark to have some fun."

So many giggles. And she can't help it, she lightly shoves his arm. "When I'm done!" Bright red and laughing, ahhhh she loves Jack though, and she's so glad that worked. "I still have more bass to play. But after that, I'm all yours," a flirtatious wink. "Promise!"

He chuckles and twines a strand of her hair around his fingers. "I am going to make sure you keep it," he says his voice silky dark.

So bright red, and she chews her bottom lip glancing away, but leaning into him, letting him just feel the coursing love and adoration for him flowing through her. "Wouldn't miss it," she promised back.

Jack gives her rare access to his open mind and lets her feel how much he loves her in return. He hums to the music.

Giggles. "My Jack," and plays with his hair.

"I gotta run," she kissed his cheek, even though it was the middle of the song, she had to get set up for the next one. "But champagne, you and me, all night, I'm yours, yeah?" A wink before dashing off in the mad kind of way only her and the Doctor habitually did.

"Stay out of trouble," Jack says affectionately as he lets her go. He hums along with a music a few more moments before heading off to find a snack.
