I - SETUP (12:00pm-5:00pm)

For any and all who agreed to help with the decorations, this would be the time to gather at the Hotel. A large list of assignments will be posted on the wall near the entrance, with duties including but not limited to:

1. Setting Tables, including placement of centerpieces
2. Wall and ceiling decorations, involving a lot of gossamer drapery and lights
3. Preparing the buffet table, with a mixture of hot and cold foods, as well as a separate table at the end for delectable deserts
4. Getting all necessary equipment on stage for the Live Band to perform. Sound Checks may occur throughout.
5. A side dressing room area set up exclusively for those who volunteered to take the time to get ready themselves, including special hair and makeup stations and a large rack to hang their dresses & shoes to change into later

II - HOTEL LOBBY (6:30pm onward)

Cozy and luxurious in its own right, those who arrive before Prom is scheduled to begin will be allowed to lounge in the Hotel Lobby for a spell. Meeting and greeting other early birds and partaking in a select few hors d'oeuvre made available while waiting for the doors to open

III. - PROM PHOTOS!

In the far corner of the lobby, a cute backdrop will be set up, ready for any and all couples/groups/brave souls going stag for the evening to take a memorable photograph! Selfies are welcome throughout, but for those desiring a more professional setup, Hikari Yagami will be on hand for the first and last hours of the night for "official" Prom Photos.

IV - EATING/DRINKING

With a "bar" consisting of 90% nonalcoholic beverages--the remaining ten percent reserved for of age chaperones--and a buffet table spanning the length of the side wall, there will be no shortage of food options that night! Hot pasta dishes, cold sandwiches, fruits, vegetable platters, and a special end section devoted to some of the best sweets Genessia's bakeries have to offer!

Of course, what prom would be complete without the traditional Fruit Bowl Punch? Better get a sip in early, though...because some traditions never die, and it's not like those in charge can keep an eye on that bowl the entire night, can they?

V. - DANCE FLOOR

With a live band (Thank you, Professor!) ready to rock, you'll soon be dancing the night away, under ethereal decorations that will really make you feel like you're dancing among the stars!

In between sets, there will be a DJ spinning a mixture of slow dances, crowd favorites, and songs that'll really get the party rockin' (~~LMFAO style~~).

VI. - CHAPERONES

Because somebody's got to make sure the kids behave.

Hopefully actual adults who can behave themselves.

VII. - MINGLING/MISC.

What other shenanigans could the teens and tweens of Genessia possible get up to? The night is young, and so are they~

[Colette was glad that Yang had talked her into coming tonight. It had been fun, dressing up, chatting with friends, and just seeing everyone having a good time. It's about halfway through the night when she excuses herself for a breath of fresh air, a smile on her face as she sees how much fun everyone seems to be having. She's glad for them, truly, but something just seems to be missing.

She steps out on the balcony, resting her hand on it, and breathes in the air as she looks up at the night sky, or what little of it hasn't been blinded away by the glow of the city. It's silly, she tells herself, for her to feel that way when she's made so many great friends here, has more money than she'll ever know what to do with, has the best roommate she could ever ask for, and yet...

Maybe it was the party atmosphere and the fancy clothes, but she was brought back to the ball that Princess Hilda had invited her and her friends to attend all of those moons ago. She wonders if, were they here, Genis would ask Presea for a dance this time, or if she and Lloyd would be out here on the balcony together again. And what about the friends that she had made that had gone back home? Would they have come, she wonders. Bracken might have, but he'd probably stay in the corner unless coaxed out. Miss Amagi might have chaperoned. Mr. Kratos, she's sure, would have come if he knew she was going to keep an eye out. Wherever they were, she hoped they were happy. Yugi, Tori... Cloud.

Cloud's disappearance was still fresh. And though they hadn't known each other for long or even that well, he had given her a similar feeling to the one she had for Lloyd. Yeah, she really hoped he was happy wherever he was.]

Can't say I blame you for stepping out.

[he was happy where he was. standing at the entrance of the balcony with a softened glow in his eyes. it was a hectic first day back, not even getting the time to change clothes or find a suit. but that was just like him...]

[Cloud]

[She's startled from her thoughts and she gasps, recognizing the voice. Eyes wide in disbelief, she whirls around and stares for a second, not saying a word as she registers that she's not imagining things. He looks just like he had the day she had seem him last. If she didn't know better, she'd think he hadn't left at all.

A part of her feels terrible for being happy that he's returned here; they all want to go home. But for this moment, she's content to act for herself, just this once. It doesn't even occur to her that this might be a different Cloud as a joyful smile spreads across her face and she runs towards him, throwing her arms around his neck.]
