I - SETUP (12:00pm-5:00pm)

For any and all who agreed to help with the decorations, this would be the time to gather at the Hotel. A large list of assignments will be posted on the wall near the entrance, with duties including but not limited to:

1. Setting Tables, including placement of centerpieces
2. Wall and ceiling decorations, involving a lot of gossamer drapery and lights
3. Preparing the buffet table, with a mixture of hot and cold foods, as well as a separate table at the end for delectable deserts
4. Getting all necessary equipment on stage for the Live Band to perform. Sound Checks may occur throughout.
5. A side dressing room area set up exclusively for those who volunteered to take the time to get ready themselves, including special hair and makeup stations and a large rack to hang their dresses & shoes to change into later

II - HOTEL LOBBY (6:30pm onward)

Cozy and luxurious in its own right, those who arrive before Prom is scheduled to begin will be allowed to lounge in the Hotel Lobby for a spell. Meeting and greeting other early birds and partaking in a select few hors d'oeuvre made available while waiting for the doors to open

III. - PROM PHOTOS!

In the far corner of the lobby, a cute backdrop will be set up, ready for any and all couples/groups/brave souls going stag for the evening to take a memorable photograph! Selfies are welcome throughout, but for those desiring a more professional setup, Hikari Yagami will be on hand for the first and last hours of the night for "official" Prom Photos.

IV - EATING/DRINKING

With a "bar" consisting of 90% nonalcoholic beverages--the remaining ten percent reserved for of age chaperones--and a buffet table spanning the length of the side wall, there will be no shortage of food options that night! Hot pasta dishes, cold sandwiches, fruits, vegetable platters, and a special end section devoted to some of the best sweets Genessia's bakeries have to offer!

Of course, what prom would be complete without the traditional Fruit Bowl Punch? Better get a sip in early, though...because some traditions never die, and it's not like those in charge can keep an eye on that bowl the entire night, can they?

V. - DANCE FLOOR

With a live band (Thank you, Professor!) ready to rock, you'll soon be dancing the night away, under ethereal decorations that will really make you feel like you're dancing among the stars!

In between sets, there will be a DJ spinning a mixture of slow dances, crowd favorites, and songs that'll really get the party rockin' (~~LMFAO style~~).

VI. - CHAPERONES

Because somebody's got to make sure the kids behave.

Hopefully actual adults who can behave themselves.

VII. - MINGLING/MISC.

What other shenanigans could the teens and tweens of Genessia possible get up to? The night is young, and so are they~

You can always go outside and look at the stars or something when dancing becomes the only things.

[She soon stopped what she was doing.]

But I wouldn't mind if you looked like a drunk giraffe or a graceful gazelle. So long as you are having fun, that's all that matters to me.

[Why do you have to be so nice, Rapunzel?]

[sighs]

It feels weird, OK? The idea of dancing in front of people. Especially after not doing it for so long. You might be nice enough not to call me on it if I end up looking stupid, but that doesn't mean other people would be, you know?

Look around you. Is anyone honestly watching?

[She gestures around, spinning at the same time before putting her hands behind her back.]

Everyone is focused on other people. friends loved ones or food. I don't think anyone would judge you for it.

I didn't say it was a feeling that made a lot of logical sense. Normally I could have a few drinks to loosen up a bit- a lot of things seem like a really great idea after you've had a few, for better or worse-, but there's not a lot of alcohol here, so...

[He shrugs.

You may have to drag the socially awkward ~~rooster~~ penguin out on the dance floor to get this to happen, Rapunzel.]

[Rapunzel honestly didn't understand alcohol at all, nor was she ever curious to try to just to find out, but never the less, she figured there were other ways to help someone and yes it probably involved dragging of all things.]

Then being with me will help, I am sure. Let's have one dance at least.

Well... maybe one.

[Your sweetness is wearing down his resolve, Rapunzel, but he's still not moving of his own volition. But plus side, he's relaxed a bit, so now's your chance to pull him out on the floor!]

[Rapunzel was always more than happy to help people maybe loosen up if they need to as she went to take his hand before dragging him toward the floor. It might not be anywhere near the centre but it was in enough to not be too far to the edge as well.]

Now just relax and it should be easy.

Wha-!

[And that's all Lea gets out before he's yoinked out onto the dance floor. It takes him a moment to regain his feet properly, but once he does...]

You know, if I didn't know better I'd say you planned this.

Anyway though, relaxing, right...

[A pause, and he's still just standing there, looking at the people around him like he's trying to puzzle something out. They make it look so easy. So natural. It used to be natural for him too. So why wasn't it now...?]

Wanna... give me a hint how to do that?

[Because he's not exactly tense, but he's not really at ease either. And isn't quite sure how to get there.]

I didn't.

[She just felt like doing it at the spur of the moment. At least she knew it as such and seemed confident in her answer. But it wasn't long before she paused, arms crossed as if studying him.

It wasn't long before she was tapping her finger lightly against her chin.]

Just move. Sway first I guess and see how you feel.

[Lea nods taking a few seconds to get the beat of the music so he won't be horribly out of sync with the rhythm. Then he begins to sway in place, soon closing his eyes in an attempt to focus more.

It seems to help too; the swaying starts to look more like swaying and less like awkwardly shifting his weight from foot to foot.]

[Rapunzel gave a happy clap for a moment as she watched and swayed to the beat. She knew she was going to dance to her own thing soon, but she was just happy someone else seemed to be slowly loosening up.]

See you're doing it! Go you.

[Lea chuckled, opening his eyes.]

I'm not really doing much of anything at the moment. Least it doesn't feel like it.

[He's still swaying to the music though. After a moment's thought, he adds in a bit of arm movement too, so it's something that more closely resembles actual dancing.]

This better?

[Rapunzel takes a moment to give a small clap. Might as well give encouragement and being helpful.]

It's great. It may not look like a lot, but it still counts in my mind. Don't let anyone else tell you otherwise.

Eh, I guess it's not too bad. Glad you like it, anyway.

[He doesn't seem like he's about to stop for the time being, at least so it's progress.]
