[Lucina has been around for less than a couple of days but she already started to travel and adapt- even if she spent a good couple of hours to gape at all the wonderful technological things before doing anything. Seriously, guys, have you seen the metallic carriages... that move without horses? Amazing. Anyway, she moved to Fayren in search of a more familiar landscape and found a place to stay before finally taking her time to introduce herself. What a great time to find herself in this... mess between local elections and what seems to be some kind of celebration she's not familiar with. ]
Greetings, citizens of this world. I am Lucina, Warrior and... Guardian of Ylisse [The young woman smils at the camera, she had to ask other locals how to use her device an she isn't even sure if she's recording or not but smiling seems the right thing to do. Lucina is in her new, simple room and she took off a good portion of her armor, now wearin only her dark blue sweater.] I arrived a couple of days ago and I traveled since then. I am perfectly aware everyone's attention is currently focused on more important matters but I thought it was appropriate for me to introduce myself. And maybe even look for familiar faces.
[And now the most important thing]
If anyone has a moment, thought, I actually have a question: Is it possible, in this world, to find pegasi? Or Black Pegasi? Any kind of flying horse?

Everyone else is making speeches, and I'd hate to be left out of the fun. I'll talk to you about past deeds, explain my present stance, and what I see for Everglade's future.( Fun with facts and figures )
Thus ends the facts and figures. Now I'll explain my stance regarding the controversial necromancy ban; the events that led up to it, and the reasoning behind it.
( The Necromancy Ban )
[Deep breath.] Honestly? I think necromancy is a symptom of a much deeper, if more obscure problem that Everglade has. I'll conclude by talking about my own diagnosis.

To those who are seeing me for the first time, my name is Vlad III Tepes, lord of Castlevania in Everglade. I come to you with a message for the residents of Everglade. Congratulations on surviving the rule of the buffoon tyrant. For too long the residents of this city have been misunderstood, their wishes ignored, and the laws of an ignorant, close-minded fool have been imposed on them.
I have seen first hand the issues this idiot's policies have inflicted on the populous. Refugees seeking asylum in Castlevania from the tyrant and his policies has never been higher than in the time since the ban on necromancy was put into law. Even when the people opposed this move, the tyrant fool remained steadfast in his ignorance.
So people of Everglade, I urge you, rise up against this fool, cast him down and select a more worthy leader. I have lived among you for quite some time now, and am one of you. I am no stranger to the dark arts and I am myself open about my status as one of the undead. It is time Everglade's will be returned to its people, not closed-minded bigots that refuse to understand.

I've been running blood tests on a number of people around Genessia in an effort to find out more about this place, but I need a larger sample size to get anything accurate or useful. Originally, I was looking for something that I was hoping would be found in the new people, but I think the direction I need to look may be capable in all of us.
I need volunteers of different age ranges (children through seniors) and I need you to identify your species and exact age to make sure the test is accurate and any conditions that could have an affect on blood samples.
If you would like to volunteer, please reply and set up an appointment. Your participation will be strictly anonymous to the public and any information given will be protected and kept confidential. I don't think HIPAA applies here, but I'll be following it. Volunteering implies consent for data retrieved from these tests to be used in research regarding Genessia and how we arrived in this world.
In order to ensure that the test is not interfered with in any way, I won't be publically sharing what I'm testing for at this time.

[Danny hated the entire Christmas season. That hadn't changed.
But last year he'd made a promise to give it a try this year. To try and keep from ruining anyone else's enjoyment of the season.
You know what really wasn't helping with that? Christmas decorations. Everywhere.
And they kept reappearing. He'd already taken five trashbags full of decorations out of his apartment, and they kept showing up again.]
Somebody please tell me there's a non-Christmas place to hang out. I mean, we've got a huge area here. There's gotta be at least one place where all this Christmas stuff hasn't gotten. RIght?

Video/Action
[Sakura sets up her video with a wide smile spread across her lips. She runs away from it and then waves. She’s in Everglade and working to help Fai with his election. There is a large T-rex behind her and its holding a sign around its neck with a warm pointy smile. The sign reads: Fai for Guardian!
The young princess is holding her own sign which says something similar and they are handing out cute little cards that Sakura had stayed up late making.]
Okay everyone! Vote for Fai for Everglade Guardian! He’ll do a great job and I know he just wants to help.
[She’s sure that Ted has been doing a wonderful job too but she’s here to support Fai.]

[It had been a week since he left to the Dream Docks and today he returned, fresh and filled with new memories of what his future would be like. It certainly was... not exactly something he had ever expected, but he had managed to get that done and sorted and now he could get back to his campaign. Once he reached his cafe he grabbed the jar and placed it down on the table before sitting down device switched on. He wasn't the type to do TV appearances, he was going to speak to the natives directly about it. But first things first.]
As you can see I'm back and about a cheery as ever and not because it's the season to be jolly. [He gives a light chuckle for a brief moment.] I'm here today because as I mentioned I'm in the election for City Guardian in Everglade and I'm basically planning on saying my ideas, or the ones I have an idea for. If something you think should be mentioned isn't, please ask me. I will take every question into account and give you an answer.
[He moves his jar and now it's clear in view.]
I'm sure you are all wondering what this jar is about. I call it my 'City Emergency Fund Jar' I pay in two star amount of red bills a month into this thing so that if any city ever needs it due to situations that could not be helped, then I will pay for them. So far I believe I have at least six star worth of red bills in here which is actually a lot. [He smiles sweetly.] The reason I brought this up is because if I am elected... All the money I would earn I would not see a single penny of. It would all go into this jar for the city. Which pretty much means I'll be doing this job for free.
[Which he felt like was a good idea since he didn't need the money. He paid for the house, sure but the rest of his earnings always now went into the jar, Sakura always paid for everything else.]
Moving on to other subjects. The whole Necromancy Ban has caused quite a bit of uproar in Everglade and I can understand why. It's what they are use to, it could actually be there livelihood and therefore the ban made them homeless because they weren't getting paid. But I can understand why Ted would do it because well... bringing someone back from the dead is impossible. At least not without some kind of side effect and only if one is extremely powerful, but again...side effects people do not want. However, I very much doubt Ted brought that ban to the people so that they could have there say about it. My goal is to make it so natives can actually have a say on subjects I bring to them, make them feel like they are being heard.
[He has at least one more thing he needed to say at least.]
I will also bring more protection to the city. As we are aware the whole barrier situation that happened and how bad that turned out to be. My plan is to set up spell that will give warning should it break again and give the people enough time to do something or evacuate. [He paused for a moment, wondering if he had anything else left.] That is actually all I have for now, but as I said questions are always welcome and give me that moment to really think about it.

Hello.
[Sakura smiles a little nervously at the screen.]
This might be an odd request but is anyone willing to teach me magic? I don't want to hurt anyone so healing and defensive things if possible. I want to be able to protect my friends and family. I've learned that I have the capability for magic I just need to be taught.
[There is a brief awkward pause.]
Thank you.

Who: Ted, Levy, Ronan, Maria, Porrim, and any loved ones they'd like to bring
What: Thanksgiving Celebration
When: Noon to start, then 6:00 pm for srs bznz
Where: Everglade's Sheriff Office, in and around
Why: For love and Strategy

Time to eat! Ted would be damned if he didn't celebrate Genessia's most ignored holiday. Gratitude was spare in this world, and he felt divinely inspired to dispense it when he could. Or perhaps everyone merely wanted an excuse to stuff their faces. Saying grace is mandatory, you heathens.
Thus, his coworkers, colleagues, and most importantly: friends, would find a traditional feast spread out before them. Mashed potatoes, pumpkin pie, cranberry sauce, apple cider to drink, and of course, turkey. Naturally he'd enrolled his deputies to help prepare everything. Once they'd had their fill, Ted wanted to feed them further with the one thing he had in abundance: words. Words to express his love and gratitude for each of them. After that it was time to put away the dishes, and break out the game table. For politics is a game Ted had never really played before, and he wanted to play it well. That meant enrolling all his deputies in his schemes. Feasting at noon, plotting by night. Aren't you glad you signed on with this guy? Thus, we come full circle to the message of the holiday: be grateful.
(OOC: Part 1 involves Ted giving thanks for the people in his life. If you're a friend and would like to feast with the crew, lemme know. If you're a friend of Ted's, he'll also share words of gratitude in your direction. Deputies don't have a choice: come hell or high water, they will be praised! Of course, everyone is welcome to return fire.
Part 2 is the strategy meeting. Guardians and deputies only (unless you really really wanna contribute to the guy's campaign. Let me know if your muse is just that invested). Here is where Ted will lay out the beginning of his strategy. Tactics are the topic, and brainstorming is our business. Serious business. But hey, just remember: campaigning is a game with a dear prize. Play hard, but have fun.)

[ Porrim should be a pretty well-known face around Genessia by now, especially around Everglade, but there were always new people around and despite being a busybody, she couldn't meet everyone in the cities. So for those who hadn't met her in person yet, here was a lady with grey skin, candy-corn horns, and plenty of piercings and tattoos, wearing a jet black dress. ]
Excuse me, would anyone here know what a 'homonculus' is? Someone asked me a question about them, and whether they count as necromancy, and I'm trying to answer it, but I haven't heard of the term before.

[The video feed opens to show a small boy wearing goggles on his forehead. He pokes at the communicator with all the concentration of someone for whom getting technology to work was more a matter of optimism than skill.]
Um, hello? Did I do this right?
[He smiles hopefully at the camera.]
I think I've kind of gotten lost. Somewhere. And I've never heard of Genessia or any of these places before.
[His smile falters, as a certain sadness comes into his expression.]
I guess it would be too much to hope that I somehow made it to the digital world again.

[A video feed opens to a white humanoid goat-like woman who seeming just arrived in Genessia. She was wearing a large purple and white dress, She had small horns, slightly long ears, and a fanged snout. It looks like with she was busy reading the material for new arrivals while she was doing this.]
"I am sorry, please give me a moment..."
[She finally turned around to face the video feed.]
"Greetings, I am Toriel, I suppose I am no longer in the Underground anymore, this world appears to...be something different."
[Toriel's nervous expression eventually let up to present a smile.]
"But, I shall make the best of it, and just hope I can move on. I will need a place to live, i suppose, and something to do, and perhaps some company."
[Toriel turns around to look at something on the message board again before turning around.]
It says here there is a home for homeless children? If it is true many have ended up in this world from other worlds, pulled from their worlds and friends, that means there are children here on their own? Perhaps I can help, then. Like start a school for children in this world, or take care of them as best I can. I can make sure the children here will have a good life here, and are cared for.

The Harvest Pet Adoption Festival is finally here! There are plenty of things to do and animals all around. There's even a petting zoo for farm animals! (Though unless you have experience taking care of them, you might not want to ask about taking them home since they're a little harder than your standard pets... besides, there are plenty of animals that need adopting that aren't from a local farm!) In addition to potential new animal friends, there are food booths everywhere for fresh cooked meals, farmers' market fresh produce, and your standard festival deep fried everything. Low on money but still hungry? Try participating in the pumpkin-pie eating contest! It seems like there's a trophy and a special Harvest Pet Adoption Festival Dough* prize for the biggest stomach!
A number of rides are around the festival, including a Ferris wheel, a mini-coaster, and a horse-drawn hay ride. Get your face painted or have a local artist draw a caricature of you! Maybe learn how to make your own pottery at the hands-on arts and crafts area where masters of various crafts are helping to involve new people in their arts. Various carnival games are available in the Arcade section of the street, where a number of vendors have set up their traditional carnival games for your enjoyment. Maybe free entertainment is more your style- check out the live concerts, DJ, and outdoor dance floor near the back end of the festival!
There is a costume contest at 4:00pm open to anyone dressed up as something other than themselves.

[ As the video starts, Liv Moore looks a little different than normal. In fact, she's wearing sunglasses inside what looks to be some kind of bathroom. And sunglasses indoors are the most normal thing she's wearing. There's the loud thump of EDM going on outside in the background, only barely muffled by the closed bathroom door. Liv briefly adjusts her hair so that the blue hair chalk streaks in her hair are out of her face. There's a big smile on her face. ]
Hey guys. Just got off an awesome banger- that drop was to die for. Anyway, I just wanted to put a pause on my shuffle and let you all know this rave is totally plurnt and if you aren't here, you're missing out. [ She holds up a wrist full of bracelets. ] I am getting so much kandi tonight. The rave bunnies here are great and so worth the come down tomorrow.
[ There's some sound in the background- the DJ appears to be calling for people to put their fucking hands up. ] Oh- gotta go. Don't wanna miss the light show.
[ She pulls out some extra glowsticks out of god knows where as the feed falls on the name of the Nova City club posted on the bathroom wall, then the feed goes out. Liv will regret every part of this later, but for now? This is a fact of her life. Perhaps the glasses and outfit will give her plausible deniability about her identity later. ]

So, yeah. It's me again. And it's been about... I want to say 26 days, if we're going by Earth time.
(He has since changed out of his uniform and is wearing a light jacket, navy blue hoodie, white t-shirt underneath, at least this is what would be seen on the video feed. He had quickly begun to dress for the changing weather. Of course, he has a feeling that he will find himself missing the massive amounts of snow he was used to once winter really did settle in.
His expression hasn't changed much since - Mark is a master at taking things in stride. Besides, he's thrilled to know that there is one person he knows here and he seems to be making another new friend, at least.
That thought reminds him to tell Rick about his sort of twin running around.)
So far, so good. I mean a roof over my head and a job. More importantly a purpose - figure out what hell caused my friend and I end up here and how we can get back.
But until we figure that out - guess I'll be your average run of the mill teach. (He shrugs. He is actually not minding the idea. He figures he'll be able to get a few jokes like "You kids, when I was your age I had to walk on Mars uphill, both ways" and "Let me tell you about those Martian street gangs. They completely trashed my rover!")
I wonder if teaching the kids how to make water out of rocket fuel is a bad idea...I mean, I'll obviously test it out on my own first and make sure nothing can go wrong then. It'll come in handy to get it figured out once I get out of here...
If not, once the weather gets better, I'll just teach them out to grow things. I mean - that's sciencey enough and practical to boot...
Oh, and that reminds me...if anyone else is trying to figure this out. Mind sounding out. I think we all need to work together on this one.
