I - SETUP (12:00pm-5:00pm)

For any and all who agreed to help with the decorations, this would be the time to gather at the Hotel. A large list of assignments will be posted on the wall near the entrance, with duties including but not limited to:

1. Setting Tables, including placement of centerpieces
2. Wall and ceiling decorations, involving a lot of gossamer drapery and lights
3. Preparing the buffet table, with a mixture of hot and cold foods, as well as a separate table at the end for delectable deserts
4. Getting all necessary equipment on stage for the Live Band to perform. Sound Checks may occur throughout.
5. A side dressing room area set up exclusively for those who volunteered to take the time to get ready themselves, including special hair and makeup stations and a large rack to hang their dresses & shoes to change into later

II - HOTEL LOBBY (6:30pm onward)

Cozy and luxurious in its own right, those who arrive before Prom is scheduled to begin will be allowed to lounge in the Hotel Lobby for a spell. Meeting and greeting other early birds and partaking in a select few hors d'oeuvre made available while waiting for the doors to open

III. - PROM PHOTOS!

In the far corner of the lobby, a cute backdrop will be set up, ready for any and all couples/groups/brave souls going stag for the evening to take a memorable photograph! Selfies are welcome throughout, but for those desiring a more professional setup, Hikari Yagami will be on hand for the first and last hours of the night for "official" Prom Photos.

IV - EATING/DRINKING

With a "bar" consisting of 90% nonalcoholic beverages--the remaining ten percent reserved for of age chaperones--and a buffet table spanning the length of the side wall, there will be no shortage of food options that night! Hot pasta dishes, cold sandwiches, fruits, vegetable platters, and a special end section devoted to some of the best sweets Genessia's bakeries have to offer!

Of course, what prom would be complete without the traditional Fruit Bowl Punch? Better get a sip in early, though...because some traditions never die, and it's not like those in charge can keep an eye on that bowl the entire night, can they?

V. - DANCE FLOOR

With a live band (Thank you, Professor!) ready to rock, you'll soon be dancing the night away, under ethereal decorations that will really make you feel like you're dancing among the stars!

In between sets, there will be a DJ spinning a mixture of slow dances, crowd favorites, and songs that'll really get the party rockin' (~~LMFAO style~~).

VI. - CHAPERONES

Because somebody's got to make sure the kids behave.

Hopefully actual adults who can behave themselves.

VII. - MINGLING/MISC.

What other shenanigans could the teens and tweens of Genessia possible get up to? The night is young, and so are they~

It's not a surprise to see Prompto running around behind the lens of a camera, and so when he gets close, Noctis will strike a few poses for his bro. Some candid, one cool, but mostly dorky as he winks for the last one, giving a peace sign with a dopey sort of grin.

"Just gonna watch everyone else have a good time all night, or what?"

Mostly, his best friend was the biggest dork he'd ever met. Sometimes it was hard to remember this was the king of their land. He grinned despite himself though, his mood was a little heavier after his previous encounter with Belle.

"That's the plan, I'm working. Why? Did you come to ask me to dance?"

Prompto chuckled and tried to shove Noct lightly.

"Like you could keep up," there's a light punch to the shoulder in return.

"I guess I just figured with you being mister popular here in this place that you'd be having a little more fun than just hiding behind your camera all night."

While Noct was probably right, since he didn't really know how to dance, he just snorted and lied. "Of course I could, I'm a great dancer."

No, he really was not.

"On what planet have I ever been mister popular?" He gave Noctis a pained look and a roll of his eyes.

"Anyway, Belle's kind of really upset with me right now." He looked down, he didn't really think and now they were in a bit of a mess.

There's almost a snort of his own, as Noct shifts his weight, crossing his arms over his chest, ready with a comeback about how many friends Prompto had made in their time here.

But then that second bomb drops, and he rolls his head back slightly on his neck, with a mock-disapproving look. "Uh oh, what did you do?"

"I didn't do anything!" He said defensively, hands up, one hand open, the other around the camera.

"I guess, maybe, she wanted to come here? But I didn't know that." He didn't ask her to the dance.

"So you mean you... didn't ask her?" Noct's brow lifts as he seems lower his head just a little, as though he was re-examining his friend. "So you really didn't do anything," using Prompto's same words back at him, he shakes his head.

"Have you at least talked to her since you got here?"

"I didn't ask her." He nodded in confirmation. "I really didn't do anything I don't know..."

Prompto ran his hand through his hair. "Yeah, that's how I know she's kinda mad at me or something. Sad? Some combination of both." He shook his head.

"She's upset because l-look someone asked me to dance, I was being polite! I wasn't going out of my way to- I wouldn't-"

He was flustered.

There was a slight shaking of the head from Noctis, topped off with a "tsk" sort of noise. Knowing Prompto, any hurt feelings that came from this hadn't been on purpose, but that didn't mean that there weren't things to set right, either.

"Come on, come with me," he's moving behind his friend to push him towards the bar. "Break time."

In other words, they had things some things to discuss... over a drink.

"Yeah, okay." He was technically working, he probably shouldn't drink, but he would allow it because honestly, there was little Noctis could ask him that he wouldn't do.

He followed him towards the bar. "I didn't mean to hurt her feelings."
