[ ACTION : Cassiy + Tulip ]So far, Cassidy had rather been enjoying life in his new home. He had Tulip, he wasn't (always) afraid for his life, he had comraderie with other vampires, and he could, presumably, start on the straight and narrow.
Not that he had any interest in that.
But now that the day was winding down and the night was finally beginning, Cassidy sat himself down and happily began nursing a bottle of whiskey. It didn't do much for him usually, but he liked the taste and it took the edge off. But something was strange. It settled warm in his belly, which was rather unusual for him, considering he normally drank whatever was under the kitchen sink and barely felt a thing. But nothing about the habit changed, at least until he got about halfway through the bottle, and suddenly he felt very, very lightheaded and warm.
"Tulip?" He called out, setting the bottle away from him. "Tulip, help!" Clearly, he'd been poisoned. Who would do such a thing? Why? What could he even do? ...
Could he even be poisoned? Nothing he'd tried so far had worked. The room steadily went blurry, and he had trouble focusing on anything at all.
Something was very, very wrong. But... he didn't hate it? In fact, there was a distant memory of this feeling prodding at the back of his memory. This wasn't a
new sensation, not by a long shot, but it was an
old one. What that meant, he still wasn't sure. Tulip surely would know... right?
