5pm-6pm: Seating
6pm-7pm: Dinner

Choices:
1. Herb-Crusted Rack of Lamb w/ a Bordeaux
2. Pan-Seared Halibut with Roasted Asparagus and Beurre Blanc Sauce served w/ California Sauvignon Blanc.
3. Mushroom, Chestnut, and Camembert Puff Pastry Parcels (Vegetarian Option) w/ White Cabernet
(All items served with a choice of garden salad or spicy cucumber salad.)
(Wines will be substituted for those underaged or upon request with a choice of water or white grape juice.)

7pm: Dessert is served

Choices:
1. Hazelnut Chocolate Star Cups - Design ref. A dark chocolate balloon cup coated with finely chopped hazelnuts so that look like stars in the night sky. Inside, it's filled with a layer of nutella mousse and topped with a fudge frosting and a piped tempered white chocolate star.
2. Coconut Pannacotta and Pineapple Stars. Design ref. A creamy yet light pannacotta dish with star-cut pineapples with caramelized edges, covered with a thin and crunchy spun sugar display.
3. Tiramisu Glasses - Design ref. Tall glasses filled with a marscapone whipped cream, a layer of coffee-soaked lady fingers, and topped with puff pastry stars and berries.
(Dessert is served with a choice of a 6oz coffee, tea of choice, or hot cocoa.)

7:10pm: Weiss Schnee's Speech (Here.)
7:30pm: Live Music Performances by Celebrities: Muse and Minako Aino
8:30pm: DJ plays, Planetarium goes on for a star show while staff clears tables and chairs out to open a dance floor. (Modern and fun music selection, not full-on rave, but not classic ballroom either. There is a variety of music styles played, more upbeat in the beginning, then slower songs toward the end.)
11:00pm: Music is quiet, open mingle, and a fundraising area for the GSRF is opened.
11:30pm: As party closes and guests begin to exit, a fireworks show begins to say goodbye for the night and thank everyone for coming.

"Heh..?" Wait, why was he making it a game! "Oh - w-well okay then..!" Although this was hardly the place for shenanigans. Though she knew that if they were back home, here or in Magnolia, or even in the guild before it dissolved, they would probably do silly things like steal bits from each other's plates. Because they were secretly kids. When the caterer came around to give their drinks and take their orders, she handed both menus to the man, taking her grape juice with a grateful smile.

Hey things were blowing up at least. Yet anyway. Ah but surely Lucy could prevent him from causing any property damage. She was plenty strong now. But right now their little game was harmless and tame. With any luck it would stay that way.

If he wanted to blow things up, she promised she'd spar with him and they could be as destructive as they needed to be. ... oh, wait a second. That wasn't a good idea. Still, she wouldn't pass on sparring with him. She already had challenged him, after all. Right now she would just have to make sure he didn't do anything that would get them kicked out of the gala - and she was pretty sure that wouldn't happen.

Sighing faintly, she leaned down to edge her feet out of their shoes a little - she wouldn't be walking around or dancing quite yet, after all, she might as well let them rest while they could. "I should have brought a spare pair," she mused absently. She could have tucked them in her purse or something! Her feet were probably going to ache by the end of the evening.

That kind of promise was right up his alley and ever since she'd first challenged him, he was really curious to see how she'd grown in power. Natsu had all the faith in her ability to improve really. Natsu couldn't help it. He'd never doubted her strength or potential.

"A spare pair of shoes? You can do that at this kind of party?" The very notion was nothing short of silly to him.

Strangely enough it was something she looked forward to as well. She wanted to see the look on his face when she showed him the results of her training. Lucy grinned, "If you're discreet about it, sure. See, I would have been able to hide them in here," she pointed at her purse. "Um... only just though. But it'll be okay," she wasn't going to be on her feet ALL the time. "... probably."

She leaned away from him again as the food was brought over, brightening again. It all looked really really good. ...and she really really hoped he remembered his manners and didn't just shovel everything in.

It was going to be great fun when they got around to it. Natsu was convinced of that. Even so with the food brought to them, he soon had a different matter to dedicate himself to fully. As for Manners well....for the most part he'd manage to preserve them. Though quantities per fork were still above average.

He was probably going to be finished with his meal before she was, with those huge amount of portions he was taking. Lucy sliced some of her fish neatly, almost primly as she started to transfer it to his plate. "Hey..!" She hissed under her breath, "Don't take it all," not that he was, but she couldn't help but tease him. She reached over to his plate to cut a bit of the lamb from his plate, swiping it back to her own. "How is the salad? I know it's probably not spicy enough, but if you like it, I can try to make something similar to it another time." And just try to spice it up more.

Somehow he managed to not talk with his mouth full so he passed that test at least. He was still kind of eating quite fast and in large amounts.

"Mmmm it's not grill but it's not that bad really. I bet you can make it even better though." And he flashed her with that big smile that showed unwavering faith in Lucy's abilities.

Thank goodness for that! She'd already finished more than half of her fish and some of the lamb, and it wouldn't take her long to finish the salad even though she was taking her time. Sipping her grape juice, she almost choked when she caught the full effect of that smile(tm).

"W..well, maybe, but they probably have professional chef's for the food here." Pause. "Natsu, slow down before you choke..!" Not that he has ever choked that she'd seen. It'd certainly be a first - but she'd rather not see it happen.

"Yeah but you're the one who knows my taste best. Not some fancy smartass cook who graduated from some ritzy school." Honestly the personal touch could easily surpass the textbook stuff. AT least that was Natsu's stance on it all.

And on to Dessert~!

"You're so biased," Lucy laughed, giving him a little affectionate nudge. "But I appreciate it." She took one more bite of her food - and it would seem just in time as the dessert carts were brought down past the tables. "...I have to say I -really- like the star theme they have going here." Obviously. "I mean... I suppose it's to be expected since this is a planetarium, but..." Hrm, Desserts... she reached over for the hazelnut star cups, amused.

The nudge didn't get in the way of him finishing up the last of the salad ahead of Lucy. He could smell the sweets coming in before Lucy even noticed them. While he wasn't the biggest fan of sweets in general he was more than willing to try it out since Lucy was going to as well.

"Those sun shaped pastries look pretty good too" Natus pointed out to the pile stacked on a tray.

Placing one of the hazelnut cups in front of her, she reached over for said pastry, passing it to Natsu with a grin, "Everything looks so pretty though, I feel a little guilty about eating it. Nevermind what it'll probably do to my waistline if I don't work off the calories this week."

"What's in the sun shaped ones?" She asked curiously, picking up a spoon to start in on her dessert.

Natsu gladly accepted the treat and took a bite before suddenly tensing up as he found that the inside of the dish he could taste something very similar in texture to Jam.

"I think it's...Jam filling. Can't quite say what flavor tho!"

Lucy made a face briefly, because grape juice and chocolate were a -terrible- combination. She'd have to get a drink of water or something. But glancing over towards Natsu, she burst into quiet giggles, "I could hardly tell. Hold still, you have some on your face." Just the corner of his mouth actually, doo de doo, she licked her thumb and reached over to brush the little bit of jam free. Really Lucy that was completely unnecessary. Just like it was totally unnecessary to tuck that finger in her mouth to lick it clean, "Hmmm.. I think it's .. it's not quite strawberry. Maybe raspberry?" Hold still, she wants another lick.

Lies and slander

Natsu wasn't completely put off by the taste though even if he had been, it would have become something that was of a lesser priority. After all Lucy had just brushed some of the jam from his lips and was now licking it off as well. That was something...very new and for soem reason Natsu found himself unable to move or speak only able to watch her.

Gasp!

In hindsight she wasn't sure why she did that, and she certainly didn't expect to have that kind of a reaction from him. When he fell silent, she glanced up again, freezing in position at first. "..." Uh... too much? Maybe she should just have given him a napkin. She lowered her hand, suddenly blushing and glancing away. "...m..maybe not." Lucy the flavor of the jam is not the issue here.

Natsu was no closer to an answer either but once the surprise cleared up Natsu quickly found himself not dislking the feeling of the act whatsoever. In fact he felt like returning the favor. Shame Lucy was such an orderly eater so he had no excuse to do it... Unless... He eyed the jam and swiped some on his index finger and smeared a bit of it on Lucy's cheek before she could react.

Lucy was about to turn to pour herself a refill of some water and tackle some more of that chocolate, when she suddenly felt Natsu's finger brushing something against her cheek. "Wha.." What on earth was in his head now? She glanced over towards her partner, a finger touching the jam in confusion, and then baffled as she reached for a napkin, "What was that for..?"

*shakes fist at!*

"Returning the favor~" Natsu answered cheekily and reached out to wipe Lucy's cheek so he could do the same thing she had done for him. With likely a more explosive reaction given it was Lucy we were talking about.]

Well if they were in a less public venue it would be. In fact she starts to recoil in surprise, her expected response intent to be a shriek of 'DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT'. But that would be making a scene and she wobbled in her seat for a second, covering her mouth with her hands instead. "...y-you don't have to do that...!" She countered in a low voice, anxiously casting a flustered glance around.

"Eh? THat's no fair you got to do it for me so why can't I do it back?" Natsu grumbled trying to find an opening in her hands so he could dab some of the jam on his own finger. Lucy was being all flaily over nothing.

"B-but you're the one wh-" Oh whoops, she shouldn't fuss so much. Augh. She lowered her hands in order to finish her sentence, "You're the one who put it on my face to begin with~!" That wasn't flaily over nothing! That was flaily over Natsu being Natsu~! Though he's got a narrow window of opportunity for his evil plans now - she was reaching for a napkin.

Haha an opening! Natsu's hand moves faster than any human could possible track and he swipes the jam from Lucy's cheek and sticks the jammed smudged tip into his mouth sucking jam off with a victorious and mocking grin.

And on to the (speech and) Star Show :3

Lucy let out a squeal of surprise, feeling more than seeing his hand swipe jam from her cheek. Glancing over towards him, she was momentarily stunned first by the sight of him sucking the jam off of his finger, and then by that grin. Feeling the heat rise to her cheeks, she leaned towards him, getting ready to fuss at him for startling her. "Natsu-"

He is saved, however, by the sound of someone approaching the microphone as Weiss took the front of the room to give her speech. Which, Lucy actually only listened to with half an ear, since she knew what the program was scheduled for. The star show was after the speech, and it was probably what Lucy looked forward to the most -- for obvious reasons.
